WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos y también a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾👍 Este es un diario donde semanalmente explico algunas de mis técnicas de cultivo y preparados orgánicos, los cuales llevo experimentando dos años en cultivos de marihuana interior. Esta semana: HIDROLIZADO POTÁSICO DE LEONARDITA CON FÓSFORO (Humato PK). Este producto lo vengo usando en mis cultivos desde el comienzo, hasta el final de la floración y es una de mis fórmulas indispensables para el engorde de los cogollos. La leonardita es un mineraloide derivado del lignito y compuesto en su mayor parte por materia orgánica que se encuentra en el proceso de convertirse en carbón, no es soluble en agua. La leonardita es la mayor fuente existente de Ácidos Húmicos e Himatomelánicos, mejora la estructura del suelo haciéndolo más esponjoso, estimula el suministro de oxígeno a los microorganismos, incrementa el crecimiento, la división celular y la retención de agua y nutrientes, al tiempo, la fórmula aporta también fósforo y potasio solubilizados, con lo que consigo un fertilizante altamente soluble PK, con ácido húmico y materia orgánica líquida. Para hacer soluble la leonardita uso un tipo de hidrólisis alcalina con Hidroxido de Potasio, en esta ocasión he añadido Roca Fosfórica (P) como fuente de fósforo inorgánico y lo he enriquecido un poco con Azomite (Si, Mg, K, Fe... + trazas de 70 minerales). Como fuente de fósforo también he utilizado fosfitos orgánicos extraídos de la calcinación de huesos con cascarilla de arroz o cenizas de madera, pero en realidad la fórmula original sólo incluye la leonardita y el hidróxido de potasio (Humato K). El proceso es simple: - MATERIAL PARA 1 LITRO DE SOLUCIÓN: Agua pura 1000ml. (Yo en este preparado he usado agua de manantial alcalino (PH: 9.2 EC: 0.85), esta agua está muy mineralizada (Ca. Si, Fe, Mg, Mn...) quiere decir que tiene hidrolizados esos minerales los cuales se añaden naturalmente al producto.) Leonardita: 100g (10%) Hidróxido de potasio: 30g (3%). - MINERALES EXTRA 1%: Roca fosfórica: 7g, Azomite: 3g PROCEDIMIENTO: 1) Moler la leonardita y mezclar con la roca fosfórica y el azomite. 2) Añadir el Hidróxido de potasio disuelto en 500ml de agua. 3) Esperar una hora y agitar de vez en cuando. 4) Añadir el resto del agua (500ml). 5) Mantener en el recipiente sin cierre hermético, para dejar paso al oxígeno, durante al menos tres días. 6) Remover o agitar al menos 2 veces al día, durante estos 3 primeros días. (Cuanto más o mejor se agite el resultado de la hidrolisis será mejor.) 7) A partir de los 3 días ya se puede usar... pero yo prefiero esperar una semana al menos. 8) El producto se puede almacenar a la sombra durante años, el paso del tiempo hace que la hidrólisis de los componentes sea mejor. COSTO APROX. DEL PREPARADO: 3€. MEZCLAS PARA RIEGO EN MACETAS: HASTA EL 2%., EN EXTERIOR HASTA EL 3%. ========================== USOS: - Deshidratado, lo uso como aporte a las mezclas de sustratos o como enmienda seca. - Al ser un producto alcalino, en las mezclas para riego, lo uso siempre en conjunto con alguno de mis Bio fermentados con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) que tienen un PH muy bajo, de esta manera regulo el PH final de la mezcla, además, pongo en contacto directo los microorganismos y la materia orgánica líquida del Humato, al que también añado melaza para dar energía a la microbiología, en definitiva es una simbiosis perfecta para el suelo: Materia orgánica solubilizada, alimento de fácil proceso para la Microbiología y ácidos húmicos, que completan la magia que se produce en el sustrato... los cogollos crecen y engordan sin freno!! They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Día 36. Estamos en 6ta semana. Los esquejes se atrasaron debido a que han sido días muy fríos y no he logrado enraizarlos. Decidí poner el extractor de aire junto con la bomba de aire, así solamente se prende 15 minutos cada hora. Así estoy logrando temperaturas mayores a 24°C en el indoor y así voy a lograr el enraizado. La planta ya tiene un tamaño que ocupa casi todo el indoor. Pero lo importante es que la voy guiando y ya estoy proyectando como va a ir cada rama. El tamaño va a exceder lo que esperaba, pero aún así creo que si logro lo que tengo en mente, voy a sacar muy buenos resultados. Igual no me voy a arriesgar demasiado, así que si contando 10 días desde ahora, no logro que los esquejes enraicen, voy a pasar la madre a floración sola. Cómo pueden ver, las ramas están bastante gruesas, y el la ramificaciones van ganando su lugar cada una. Las raíces son demasiado grandes, aunque sé que voy a poder poner la planta en el sistema de arriba igual, aunque me voy a tener que ayudar de algo para meterlas. Es importante no utilizar las manos, ya que se pueden transmitir muchos hongos. Voy a seguir actualizando e ir viendo que pasa. Pero ya estamos en los últimos días de crecimiento, haya o no esquejes. Incluso puede que ya pase la planta al indoor de arriba para darle mayor libertad de crecimiento. Esto me va a servir para tlmar en cuenta en la próxima camada que se vendrá. La idea de esto es hacer las cosas rápido, y no en gran tamaño. Pero siendo que ya estoy en el baile, no me queda otra que bailar. Día 40 Los esquejes no estaban enraizando, así que decidí cambiarlos de lugar y los puse arriba de la luz, donde les da calor y luz tenue. Espero que ahora si agarren. Y hoy fue el gran día, pasé la planta madre al módulo de arriba. Pero lo voy a dejar una semana más creciendo. De esa forma veo si los esquejes llegan a agarrar a tiempo. Y además tuve un problema en el trasplante. Primero que la planta se hizo más grande que lo esperado, y la raíz también. Cuando la pasé, hubo contacto de la raiz con prácticamente todo lo que había cerca. Sumado a que se enredó en el oxigenador, así que quedó una pidra difusora en la raíz. Dado el alto riesgo de haberla contaminado con algún hongo, le puse una solución de agua con agua oxigenada, recirculando continuamente, para lavar las raices y de paso bajar el stress de teansplante. Mañana veremos cómo arranca el día. En el aprendizaje me llevo que en la madre, es mejor hacer un corte en el primer nudo, o dejar las ramas del segundo y quitar las del primero. Y así que queden sólo dos ramas, para luego dejar a los esquejes en el medio. Eso planeo hacer con la próxima variedad. Entre tanto ahora sólo me preocupa que la raíz no se haya contaminado en el traspaso. Ya en 8 días estaré pasando a floración si no hay esquejes. Si llegan a agarrar, habrá que dar unos días de crecimiento hasta que alcancen a la madre en altura. Pero ya está todo en definición. Ahora sólo queda esperar y seguir guiando a la planta. Ya tengo ganas de poner la próxima, pero falta bastante para eso. Tengo 10 semanas de flora, así que recién en 5 semanas voy a poner la nueva madre.

I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Not a lot to report which isn’t evident from the pictures. I did build up the remaining three strains to the same height as the tallest they’re getting between about 750-1200 ppfd in the centre, which seems a lot but I am supplementing C02 and there’s no signs of light stress or burn or even foxtailing so I guess these girls can take it! They’re fattening up still, always hard to tell how dense the buds are but the Gorilla Zkittlez looks like it’s gonna be the heavy yielder and might just be a touch behind the others for development. The Peanut butter cookies is still getting fatter but seems the other end of the spectrum and may be ready to finish soon, although she’s still putting out new pistils, pretty purple now too. The Tahoe OG looks right in the middle, packing on a bit of bulk now and the bud structure looks really neat and tidy. Then finally the Runtz muffin, I carelessly snapped off a top bud when defoliating last week and dried it up and it’s 🔥 already so looking forward to this one maturing properly. I forgot to put that I’d been feeding molasses for the last few weeks, just to feed up the microbes and see if it’s of any benefit.

Jan 13th ordered a Dehumidifier today should be here Monday need to get the humidity down for flower I can only get it down to 57% so Hopefully it will work One of the amnesia haze plants have some type of deficiency not sure have brown spots on leaves Got humidity some decent control but I’m sure amnesia haze 1 is dealing with PH issues the PH meter is cheap and I’m sure it’s been off a bit so I’m going to look for new one this week

Hey! Welcome to my next grow. Decided to give autos a swerve for a while for a few reasons. I've had a bad run of germination from my last few attempts. Also some of the plants I have been growing have flowered far too early which would be a huge waste of valuable tent space. Big shoutout and thank you to the team at RQS. James contacted me and asked if I could run one of their strains in my setup. I'm a big big fan of blueberry strains so decided to give the Haze Berry a go! James sent me 5 seeds out along with a sweet box of goodies. To my delight all 5 seeds have germinated in water so all 5 are now in the tent. Seeds in soil today (11.02.19). They will undergo the full Ice Cream Parlour experience meaning topped at the 3rd node. Supplemented with 1200ppm co2. LST and Scrog under the usual Maxibright 315w laps and an extra LED to boost them along mid flower. Keep checking back for updates. Now 13.02.19 they have broken the surface of the coco and showing their cotyledons. I will start supplementing 1200ppm Co2 from tomorrow.

My light fell on my plants yesterday. , the pot of my plant in the first corner was broken, I bought it in a different pot. In my other plant, 2 branches were broken, I taped one of its branches, it became crippled.

Deliciously grow, without problems - super fine and satisfactory result. Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

Hello growers Been battling winter temperatures this week so moved this girl into the warmer tent. Got as cold as 16° inside the tent during the day (outside was 6-7°) for the past week. Growth might have been stunted a little bit but did my best to keep temps up without having to install heaters inside the tent. She now has a purple light to finish off her flowering run. Edit: added two of the 200w lego panels to help fight the cold weather. See you next year 😉
