11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Hello all! This plant looks mature and I have a microscope but the thing is I thing it has over ripened and, some trichomes fell off? Or let me tell you my trichomes never turned MILKY OR WHITE. Some of them are amber tho. Anyways, on growweedeasy.com there is a guide that says : Harvest even if your trichomes are not ready. I guess it will be more a gut feeling to chop or not chop. Any input greatly appreciated. And yes, I have chopped down the main cola and dried and smoked it. I guess it gets me high but I smoke all the time so it's hard to evaluate because I have also bought quality weed to smoke So guys, only from the photos, what do you think? My trichomes looks like half clear %10 amber. Do you think it could go to amber without stopping at milky? Or milky trichomes fell of but there was new growth and I could never see clear trichomes? INPUT ? :)

Pues HOY, miercoles 22 de abril, hago el cambio de fotoperiodo, a 14-14! De momento todo va según lo planeado, main lining hasta este punto, vigorosas y recias, se sienten muy sanas y beben muchisimo, de momento 3 litros por planta cada dos dias, veremos a ver ahora con la floracion. Ahora esta primera semana voy a hacerle diferentes aplicaciones buscando cosas jajajajaja hoy la voy a hacer aplicación foliar del delta y no recuerdo si tocaba tambien a riego. Luego, algo que tengo ganas de ver, es usar el calcio ahora entre esta semana y la siguiente de aplicación foliar, pero en esta ocasión no solo para fortalecer la planta, sino para activar la hormona Ca²+ creo que se llama, que en sí es el mensajero de la planta que le dice, eeehh, haz mas resina que estás tirando poca! Y así la fuerza.. habrá que ver jajaja pero bueno, hoy arrancan las 14 horas de luz y 14 horas de oscuridad 🔥🔥 Las plantas, el dosel lo tienen sobre los 40cm, espero no tener que hacer super cropping, no soy fan. Actualización jueves 23-04-2026: el video es del despertar tras sus primeras 14h de oscuridad. Aún no hay porqué ver nada respecto al cambio de fotoperiodo, lo interesante es lo vigorosas que están en el momento del cambio 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

The plants have been hanging in large cardboard boxes on strings for two weeks, the room was around 15c as i like a slow drying process. I will give them a final trim before they hit the jars

4/20 has arrived! Seedsman reached out to me to be apart of their 420 grow off! Thank you SEEDSMAN! They sent me a 5 pack of Gorilla gas F1 Fast seeds and I just put 4 in some wet paper towels. Soon they will be moved to their pots where they will stay for the remainder of the grow. I am really excited about this strain to see what characteristics it will show with all 4 plants growing in the tent. Stay tuned. I will be posting weekly picture and video updates as well as a detailed summary of the week.

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Semana de una más que notable transición cromática , formación de lindas porras y engorde de cogollos. La nº6 sigue mostrando albinismo aunque parece que no aumenta de tamaño, se mantiene. Subí los led 5ctms y parece que funcionó bastante bien. Entramos en una fase delicada por lo que añadí un deshumidificador que se enciende cuando se apagan los led. Más adelante otro ventilador y deshumidificador las 24h. encendido. Durante la noche con los led encendidos el ambiente es mucho mas seco que durante el dia con las luces apagadas así que el ventilador lo dejaré encendido unas horitas más durante el dia, noche para las plantas. Hay que bajar la humedad tanto como se pueda durante esas horas en la que sube tanto.

nice week this week. very noticeable transformation. I have a yetti purple berry kush in there which smells just amazing. this week i tried, for the first time, some under canopy LED. 2nd day with it today as i write this. they really took it well. perked up and kept at it. the color and hue is starting to come through. Super happy with this tent. I think its worth the effort to create an organised space to give yourself the best chance possible. you will see the difference in approach form Auto tent and then photperiod tent.

Two low branch broke off due to wind and stem wasnt stong enough for weight of the buds....other than that just a handful or two of defoliation every two day or so....makes trimming ez lol
