BigHeadChief LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Second Grow underway. I'm taking this journey like building a house each grow is a brick to building a fortified mountain of cultivation knowledge. Keeping the same principles from my first grow and adding new things I learned I started with a 48 hour towel method to start the seedling instead of straight dropping it into soil. This provided germination in 48 hours. Soil mix is 50/50 Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Happy frog potting soil. In my experience I have found that this is a perfect starting medium and has many of the essentials you need for a long term successful grow (bat guano, worm castings, mychorizzae, and active microbial agents.) The soil is mixed about a half day prior and slightly moistened then the seed is placed in a thumb tip sized holes in the middle of the growing medium. Lights set to 20/4 for the entirety of the grow I found this provides enough rest for the Auto's as i tend to see them waking up around ~4-5.25 hrs 6 hours in my experience is to long. These babies are in my brand new 4X2 60" VivoSun tent. So far the experience is night and day from trying to grow in the closest . 😏

BigHeadChief The cotillions broke the soil around November 22-23 so far they have grown and leafs appear lush and green. I noticed a wee bit of stretching so I lowered the light to get the PPFD around 260-300. Since the change growth has increased horizontally; the stem seems to be growing thicker indicating better root development.
