Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. The time has come to pass for this super cool Red poison auto from Sweet seeds. The one bud beauty has been fun from the start. It took as much time trying to figure out what 16oz was in English and then actually find a 473ml cup, as it took this girl to germinate. I've mentioned before it was a picture entry from this this comp previous that drew me to grow diaries in the first place. (Yes I'm a bud slut, don't judge) Back to miss Red P, she has taken the usual beating of me forgetting to water and feed a few days, a neglect that all my plants enjoy at some stage of their lives. She started life in a converted shoe cupboard grow thing and ended her weeks in the main converted wardrobe where alongside the usual cheap LEDs she has had a few doses of the old UVB 10 reptile light. *Giving her a fantastic sugar looking crystal coating. My opinion through some research and personal experimentition* Although nuits problems showed in her leaves in the second half of her growing life and some forgeful watering, they produced some stunning, ever changing colours, which were ironically a nice change to see from the regular grows of green and would probably have been more concerned if it was happening to one of the other girls. The Purple to Red coloured main bud is bigger than the cup itself and weighs a ton. I had to put support in last week to hold her upright. Her leaves look fake and plastic as my wife commented, true too which makes for a nice look I've never seen before. perfect timing on the grow time although I could have harvested earlier to be fair but the bud just kept getting bigger and well, you know. .. As of writing I've not posted the root pics but will soon.. . Honest... I just like looking at her for now.. . Every now and then a quick admiring close up look at them buds..... I just don't want to part with her yet ok. give me time!

Ya le van quedando menos y ellas lo saben. Esta semana les he dado un buen riego con la ec más alta que echaré, ya que interpreto que están en su momento más álgido de floración. Después de esto daré otro riego con una ec más baja o directamente lavado de raíces. No van a ser unas flores voluminosas ni mucho menos, pero al menos parece que van a apretar bien.

Hoping these girls start to bulk up soon. This is all organic- just being fed with water, glucose, and the Gaia Green soil bloom nutrient top dressings every other week. Goal is to see what I can do with bare minimum and then press the yields with nutrient feedings in the future. Anyone with organic growing experience - these look normal size for where we are at in flower? I know we have a month or so to go but the roots seem to be pretty compacted at this point in 5 gallons pots. I think I’d go to 3 - 10 gallon fabric pots for next grow. Let me know what works best for you.

Another week checked off and looking pretty good. 1st nutes were are little heavy a think with a little bite burn so have dialled it right back (only fed twice) nothing since. Overall all the girls seem healthy & happy apart from one... She seems to start drooping before the others at the end of the day and just seems less lively. She’s drinking about the same as the others so not sure. Will just keep watching not panic and see what happens. Think the stretch has just about stopped and I’ve filled up the canopy pretty well. Hopefully just big fat stinky buds from here... Spent quite a bit of time on YouTube etc learning this week. Feel like I’ve spotted a few places I’m still going wrong but some easy fixes so all good feel richer for the experience etc... Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Welcome to week 2 of flower on this lovely project! The ladies are stretching like crazy and it won't be long till we see some lovely flower tops starting! Plants are stretching along nicely. Day#9F Plants bounced back from the scrog training very quickly. They're picking up the pace with stretching! Day#10F Plants are just bursting in new growth, Creamy Cereal Crunch is getting huge! Day#11F We got the start of cotton balls going! Day#12F Pictures N/A. Ladies continue to explode in growth, defoliated some of the older leaves that aren't getting any light. Day#13F The ladies continue their stretch! Creamy Cereal is absolutely beasting out! Day#14F Cotton balls are getting bigger and bigger. Plants continue to stretch with minor signs of slowing down. Recap: Things went extremely well this week , the plants absolutely exploded in growth and have developed cottons balls. With some time left on the stretching period and lots of time left overall on this grow I'm very excited to see the end results with these cool genetics.

Getting a growth spurt on switched to flower mode on the 600w led, installed the extractor and carbon filter as it's getting to smell a little fruity even at this stage. Lite feed in this early stage with the listed nutes, seem to be responding well. 17/10 Defoliated today and made a CBD smoothie from the lower canopy with almonds, apple, lemon and lime, the leaves were very fresh, it was pretty nice. Week 2 Mr.B's Six shooter so this one is doing fine, still no water needed since last week, literally no maintenance required, just spraying the soil with 0.25 ml / 250ml organic amino acid concentrate. You know how canna boost smells like soy sauce, well this one smells like that kinda except when i open it my whole basement smells like a chineese wok restaurant lol . Six shooter looks like i got three phenos , this one is an indica pheno looks like , let's see how she grows ! added cal mag to the foliar spray, once only this week, on day 5. amino spray on the soil is daily, until the 10 day mark. still only going to be plain water and secondary nutrients like CO2 and micronutrients . that's the plan anyway. VPD tappering off towards 1.1 as humidity is creeping down from a high of 42 to the high thirties now. going to plant my in soil ppm reader before i water for the first time since transplant lol... maybe not even this week ! low maintenance? will update 🚀

Lovely body high on this one! Amazing for pain relief! Nice head too, taste and smell 10/10. Little yield but that was probably because of my mess ups throughout the grow. Overall a great strain Only yielded 9gs, was a small plant but no doubt I stressed it along the way so I think it’s more down to my mistakes than the genetics Tastes of grapey diesel, 10/10 🍇 Smells of straight grapes, 10/10 🍇 Appearance, very frosty and great looking bud(could be trimmed better but that’s on me)! 9/10
