Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes. I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. day71: she looks fine, we have 2 weeks more :) day72: 2500 ppm is a level that can be considered toxic for many species. This species exhibits a truly unusual feeding habit. Sometimes I get into trouble because it contradicts general feeding idea. But DWC cultivation is not something that can be done by old habbits or toughts. The plant clearly shows what it wants. 2500 ppm 5.8 stable. day73: She is happy I am too:D day74: She drunk 8lt. yesterday ppm raised to 3500 and ofcourse ph dropped to 4.7. I fixed it to 2200ppm and 5.8 ph. day75: so stable day76: without any drama :D

After locking them out for close to a week , I managed to get them going again. Just waiting for some Amber trichomes to show up now.

Week-8 veg

Hey! Just back well They are getting better and better soon need to start to flower them. Fertilization happens 3x a week with the mixture of Biobizz family (Biobloom, Topmax, BioGrow, Epsom salt, Gunokalong extract.) They grow as hell. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off, 200 ml water per plant a day, humidity approx 35 percent. Day 53: They are bushy keep doing LST on them. Day 56: I constantly do LST for them and also some lollipopping so I removed the bottom unwanted leaves especially the yellow ones. From tomorrow I provide darkness for 2 days and then Monday the beggining of the 9th week I will switch to 12/12.

Gave them their 3rd and final heavy defoliation this week. Had lots of useless side branching that will just shadow out the good stuff and cause them to not ripen properly, a lot of this growth was due to the unintended extra 10 days they had in VEG before I noticed the timer wasn't doing what I asked it to do, just one of those things. Always a surprise in the grow room no matter how much you try to prepare and problem solve. I also had an air line manifold blow out this week which was very strange to see. Caught it early so girls didn't go without air for to long and I have 2 air pumps running so 1 going down is only a minor issue but still a great example of the random mishaps that occur when growing. If its one thing that experience has taught me its that less is more when it comes to how many colas you try to fit into a space. Do to many and you'll just end up with a load of mids, battling humidity problems and stress of keeping tons of half ripe colas falling all over onto each other come week 6 or 7. Everything is going great so far, no issues, although I have noticed some of the white hairs on the budlets have slight ginger tops (only a very small few) I have read in the past that this can be a sign of stress and potentially they might flip the hermie but I've done nothing to stress them so I am hoping this is just a abnormality from growing under LED. Boosted the nutrients up to 1000PPM now to let them feed heavy and pump those buds up. Nice week. Transition to center mass continues - the frost builds and the aromas are incredible. Purple berry kush - slight touch and the blast of berry kush. I showed it to a non smoker - he smelt it and said - smells like I shouldn’t be here 😂😂😂. Upcoming week will be weening off the finisher and phasing in for a full flush. Divergence on two plants in the tent as they were planted later so will keep the blooming fed.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. Alturas están entre 15cm y 20cm. 13 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH. Hoy se removieron los primeros nodos de cada planta y se les hizo poda apical. 14 Noviembre: Riego 2.5EC y 5.9pH, runoff de 3.3EC y 6.2pH en la mañana. En la tarde se realizó transplante a maceteros definitivos de 5 litros con 4 litros de sustrato aprox. el cual fue pre cargado hasta la capacidad de campo, con 3.0EC y 5.8pH, desde este punto se debe esperar un par de días hasta que el dryback(secado) del sustrato sea de un 35-40%, lo cual vendría siendo el primer P3 del cultivo, una vez se alcance ese porcentaje de secado, se comenzará con los primeros riegos de precisión llamados P1.

Seeds look healthy and have been planted in small cups after being successfully germinated. I'll pick two out of three. It looks as iff 3 cola may perform as well as a 4 cola while giving extra space for air and leaf growth. I like 3 or 4 plants in the small tents. I ENJOY growing and getting to know all the different kinds of strains. SO 3 COLA, in 1 gallon, small space limited fresh air, limited power OR. heat will kill everything. lack of space means lack of air movement. If I can get the same amount from 3 colas THEN I can grow SAFLEY without PROBLEMS from lack of light or air....... more plants fewer colas but the SAME amount of weed. Todays weight test should either prove or disprove 3 colas in small spaces 3 plants 9 main colas with training to make SURE its a transfer of energy without entropy. suck on that fucknewton, he was a loser. I shit on your 2nd law of motion. 🚨 630am Just weighed both plants: THREE COLA 26.67. FOUR COLA 28.75 ounce. WHAT 4 COLA is bigger? Not necessarily. PER COLA the 3 cola plant has 8.89 PER COLA. FOUR COLA has 7.1875 ounce. 1.7025oz difference. 3 Cola has more viable buds at the bottom of the plant because of the extra light and airflow!! CONCLUSION: IM LIGHTYEARS AHEAD OF MY TIME. nope it was the energy drink. Taking into consideration I dont like trimming and each cola can be easily lightly trimmed (I dont grow to keep leaves for shake, not worth the mess) then hung to dry, then cut the buds off directly into Grove Terp. Loc bag with minimal trimming and it's DONE. NO STUPID trim jail, big mess....none of that. clean and simple.
