Had a hell of a week with Blue Dream 2. In the previous week I had added some molasses to the nutrient solution, 2 of the 3 plants took very well to it. However Blue Dream 2 got a real bad case of root rot. I ended up having to trim up the roots, and do a hard rinse on them. I flushed a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide and then let it soak in a resevoir with nothing but hydroguard for 36 hours. The other two had a small outbreak, but nothing near Blue Dreams 2. All in all a few days later she has recovered. Thats the biggest reason I added the tomato cages, blue dream 2, with weak stems already (got to find a silica supplement next run) she couldn't hold up the buds. After she recovered I just put the cages around all 3. I want to say 2 more weeks, but am still super green to all this, I'll post pics of the buds and tell me what you guys think. Cheers

6/28 I had to water deeply despite watering thoroughly yesterday. This heat wave is supposed to pass today. We have had temps in the 90's. Ihate it but the girls seem to love it. RH is super high and controlling pm is a pain in the balls. When my connection is better I'll add my vid and photos. Still need a follow up preventative spray. BT is really awesome but super narrow and I've found random stink bugs, earwigs, crickets and grasshoppers as well as easily identifiable leaf damage. I'm thinking Spinosid. Save my PM stuff for PM. Tried checking my PH with a soil meter. The bags are basically just roots. The only two plants it read came to 6.5 which is strange because I usually run around 7.3. I'll certainly take it. If it's correct that is. RH 64 TEMP 84 6/29 Didn't water this morning due to a torrential downpour last night. Nothing broken after first glance. The thunder and wind woke me last night. This storm was horrific yet my plants still seem unaffected. Need to rearrange the cage. It will be a pain to have to move that ice cream cake. Maybe I could find a way to modify the cage outwards. I also need to move the plant in the tote in the back. Luckily I got back and watered before plants dried out. Noticed a FEW dead or yellow leaves on the middle interior of some plants. I upped dosage of growbig last feed and fed a little earlier. I'll go back to my normal feeding schedule and see what happens. Thing is the plants are getting huge so I would think increased nutes would help. Couldn't he lockout. Too much water. Maybe nutes in the soil are leaving? I'll figure it out. I temporarily pulled the stalk on the ice cream cake back and tied it to the posts to get it off the fence. 6/30. 90s again today. I deeply watered and noticed a couple more yellow leaves (bottom middlish). Only thing that was changed was feeding. I may go back to original schedule. Funeral today so I'll have to check things out later. UPDATE: Went back maybe sux hours after watering to find the grow bags dry. I reached my hand in the side and it's pretty much all roots. These high temperatures and wind are drying my plants out. No droop but the soil WAS dry. I watered again and plan to check again tonight. When temps go down I'll probably do a preventative Spinosid spray. 7/1 Watered and fed two gallons. Grow big at 1 1/2 tbsp. Still some yellow leaves on the interior. I'm talking like maybe five. Accidentally destroyed lace wing eggs. I knew it was something to keep an eye out for but I mistakenly thought it was BAD. Oh well it was just two eggs. I'm sure there are more. Tried measuring PH with soil meter but the only two plants that registered were 6.5 and 6.6. I believe the PH to be a bit higher. The bags are so full of roots it's hard to get a measurement. I know my soil and water WAS on point before my gauge broke. However I leave the 7.3 as that was about what the big ones tested at last time measured. 7/2 These are some resilient strains. Currently 54 degrees at 9am. It had been 80 or 90 in the last few days. Perfect rain today. A light shower all day. Obviously didn't water. Found a few yellow leaves but the plants look so good. The also seem to be stretching but it's far to early for the preflower stretch. I'll keep an eye out. Things are looking pretty good. Still need to move that plant in the back. 7/3 Watered today. Looks like it might rain but top soil was a little dry. Also noticed this site measures teaspoons not tablespoons which is how I measure. I'll need to adjust that. There's tell tale damage from a variety of pests (leaf hoppers, pillars, grasshoppers ECT.) So I think I'm going to do a spray within the next couple days. Im leaning towards Spinosid but Dr. Zymes supposably helps the PM as well. I'll do more research and update. 7/4 54 degrees and raining. Haven't checked the girls out yet today.

11/18 12am Monday 4.3 grams Maxi-Bloom & 0.8 Purpinator this week. They are getting tall except Apple. Everything looks good I might take some branches off the back of them today. 2pm Gave all water today just MB 4.8. Used the entire gallon on the plants today. Have to mix up more, takes 2 days to dissolve longer if it's cold. 11/20 Wed. 1am Fatso & Garlic are getting tall had to move the lights, ducting & fans up. Have to wash the hand made intake and exit filters today. the double sided tape and merv 13 do a really nice job. 👍 4am the lights were too close. Should’ve kept them at 96W if I make any changes now it could trigger pollen sacks 11/21 1pm some defoliation on Orion, Changed the filters they were dirty and preventing clean fresh air from circulating properly. 11/22 Friday. Garlic is TALL!!! Apple is filling in finally, I keep forgetting some are 2 weeks behind. The main 4 colas are going to be solid like photos. I have to add some more dirt. Pretty amazing plants. . took an hour to upload. 9am The Seedsman plants. are putting out lots of resin now, Fatso is fat, looks like I will have 4 MASSIVE colas from each plant. I just experimented with jar drying my last harvest and it worked out great. 12pm Just spent lots of time doing LST on Cosmos, I did every branch I could. Hope this works. 11/23 Saturday 1am. Takes a while to upload. Looks good from yesterday. I might have to take off at least 1 of the small inner branches not sure. Dont want to do any more defoliation than I have to it will just slow down the plant if I do. 5am Several of the top leaves on Cosmos are stretching up which means she's happy and healthy the LST training worked she's happy. 1pm Gave everyone water at 11am. Mixed up Maxi-Bloom 4.3 grams & 0.8ml Purpinator balances pH to 6.4.

🌿 Week 4 – Purple CousKush Auto #12 | Plant B The Quiet Strategist Begins Her Move | 8×8 Adventure Every plant has its own story, even when they share the same tent, the same light, the same feeding schedule, and the same care. That’s one of the reasons I decided to document each phenotype individually throughout this 8×8 Adventure. Every seed carries its own personality, its own pace, and its own way of expressing the genetics hidden inside. Today the spotlight belongs to Purple CousKush Auto #12 – Plant B. While a couple of her sisters are already sprinting into flower much earlier than expected, this lady is taking a slightly more measured approach. She’s clearly entering pre-flower, showing her first pistils and announcing that the transition has begun, but she’s doing it on her own schedule. There’s no rush here… just steady, confident progress. And honestly… I like that. Sometimes the plants that don’t demand attention early become some of the most rewarding later on. ⸻ 🌱 Life inside the 8×8 Adventure The room continues running under the 12/12 From Seed experiment, a method that constantly surprises me with how differently each cultivar reacts. Even under identical environmental conditions, every plant interprets that limited photoperiod in its own way. Some immediately focus on reproduction while others continue building structure before committing fully to flowering. Purple CousKush B seems to belong to the second group. She continues investing energy into producing new growth while gently stacking pre-flowers across the upper nodes. Watching these differences unfold is exactly why I enjoy documenting every individual plant instead of only reporting on the room as a whole. ⸻ 🌿 Training without forcing nature This week has mostly been about leaf tucking and a little gentle Low Stress Training. Rather than removing healthy fan leaves, I’ve simply been moving them out of the way to expose lower growth sites to the LED. It’s amazing how much additional light reaches the interior of the plant with just a few careful adjustments. LST continues following the same philosophy. No aggressive bends. No unnecessary stress. Just guiding branches into better positions so the canopy can develop naturally while allowing more future flowering sites to receive direct light. With autoflowers, timing is everything. Every day counts, so I prefer making small corrections instead of major interventions. Purple CousKush B has responded beautifully, opening her structure while continuing to push healthy new shoots from every direction. ⸻ ☀️ Summer is definitely here… The biggest challenge this week hasn’t been nutrition. It hasn’t been watering. It hasn’t been training. It’s simply been the weather. Outside temperatures continue climbing, making it surprisingly difficult to keep the grow room perfectly stable—even with the air conditioning working around the clock. Despite seeing daytime temperatures touching 33°C, humidity has remained reasonably controlled, helping prevent excessive stress while maintaining healthy transpiration. Considering the conditions, I’m genuinely happy with how all the ladies are responding. Strong stems. Healthy green foliage. Excellent turgor. No signs of heat damage beyond the normal environmental challenge that summer inevitably brings. Sometimes growing isn’t about chasing perfect numbers… It’s about adapting and helping the plants stay comfortable despite Mother Nature trying to make things interesting. ⸻ 💧 Week 4 Feeding The feeding schedule remains simple and consistent: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L Solution parameters: • EC: 1.35 mS/cm • pH: 6.1 The plants continue responding extremely well, with lush green foliage and vigorous new growth showing that the nutrition remains well balanced. ⸻ 🌸 Looking ahead With pre-flower now clearly underway, I’m expecting Purple CousKush B to begin stretching over the next week. Unlike some of her faster sisters, she’s building a slightly more open architecture before committing fully to flowering, which could translate into excellent light penetration later in bloom. Every day brings another surprise inside this tent, and that’s exactly what makes this project so enjoyable. One room. One environment. One feeding program. Yet every phenotype writes its own story. I can’t wait to see what chapter Purple CousKush B has planned next. ⸻ As always, a massive thank you to everyone following this adventure, leaving comments, sharing knowledge, and supporting these journals week after week. Your encouragement genuinely makes documenting every phenotype worthwhile. A huge thank you as well to Plagron for the outstanding nutrition, Zamnesia for the incredible genetics, and everyone helping make this 8×8 Adventure possible. Growers Love and see you all next week for another chapter. 🌱💚

Gave water at 6.5ph will feed on week 3. I think I've had the light to close. On day 10 pictures you can see the leaves look like there burnt 🤔 or that's what I'm guessing it is. I've raised the light to 1meter it's only at around half power at the moment and showing 21000 lux.

* ***************** Week 1 of Growth From Seed, April 11 to 17, 2020 - Days 1 to 7 from germination ********************** * Okay, we are off running now. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Apr 16, Day 6 - VPD 1.0 - 500ml water with Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L, Vitathrive @ 0.5ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml/L. - 300ppm with 5.8pH - Her leaf tips are staying more horizontal. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Hi, here is another week, nothing major happened, Plants 1 and 2 are growing nicely, Plants 1 and 3 are getting watered like last week, only Big Bud will be removed. Plant 2 is very advanced so from today I started giving only SHOGUN Dragon Force 4ml/L and Calmag. Plant 1 - gets 2.1 L and leaks 0.4 L Plant 2 - gets 1.4 L leaks 0.3 L Plant 3 - 0.5 L leaks 0.3 L Plant 3 will probably be removed from the tent in a few days, I don't know what I'll do with it yet, if there's any point in inventing something and not just destroying it. Hi, so plant 3 was removed from the tent, plant 1 was trimmed, and plant 2 is slowly starting to ripen, it smells nice, I smell mango or citrus. At the beginning of the week I did a flush, it seemed to raise the ppm quite a bit.

So far she looks like she's doing well. I'm not getting any leaf curling from either over watering or nutes so I'm happy with that. Just some minor leaf discoloration. I feel like she exhausted her nitrogen early.

About a day into week 3 . Growing very strong and fast. Transplanted into the 5gal bags at night . Over week 3 they exploded. They wanted the room .. the 5gal bags made that happen. Amazing results with just foxfarm ocean forest soil.

I lowered the lights to 84cm, use spray to water the plants, increased the humidity to 65%, added a bit of soil and increased the light schedule to 19h. Hope it can speed up the grow
