Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

I plan to control the atmosphere from the CO2 injection in week 2 or 3 to be seen again. In the meantime I have a few temperature peaks over 28 but they are really specific. This grow was challenging because they stretched five times their height after flipping, so I had to rebuild the entire tent to fit them. Unfortunately, this meant that I couldn't use my regular lights but instead had to use a QB light dimmed down to not fry the plants thoroughly. This resulted in light bleaching and insane foxtailing in the top buds and a reduced yield overall. I am confident that both quality and quantity would have been better with less stretch.

(Days 28-35) (Day 29) Everything seems to have recovered fine from topping so I transplanted into their 1.7 gallon pots. They were pretty rootbound so this should make them nice and happy. Going to start LST after recovery. Got a ton of holes poked around the rim of the bucket which should make tying down easier. I’ve been asking around on some forums and reading some articles and I’ve decided to switch out my MH bulb for the included HPS bulb. Apparently HPS bulbs will stretch the nodes out quite a bit more and provide higher PAR value for the same amount of electricity. My plants are looking pretty small for day 29. Although, that could just be from stuffing 15 plants under one 250-400w light. I’ve been powering the lights up to 400w at night and back down to 250 during the day. 400 just gets it too hot during the day (86-88) without ventilation. That temperature should be fine in veg once my co2 has really built up some mycelium. (Day 32) Just got 14/15 topped. The BCTG runt is just going to be lst’d and not topped or fimmed. I decided to just fim the plants I started later so they’d have a bit more time to recover and catch up to the others. I also LST’d all 9 quite well. Almost had a stem break but she’s doing just fine now. The deformed bbb was accidentally fimmed and as a result it’s got a very trippy looking main stem that has branched off into 6 mains. I definitely have fungus gnats. Fuckers must have got in with that coco I bought from hydro store. This has never happened to me with just promix but the benefits of coco are too much to pass up. I might order an OG BioWar/capsbennies/grubgrenade to help naturally get rid of them. I’m getting some confirmed yellowing on bottoms of the zkittlez and WW’s. They must be heavy feeders because no other plant in the tent is getting yellow like that. I’m going to feed a compost tea, top dress everything at full strength and mulch in some worm castings to help break it down faster. Will also do a foliar spray with some insect frass, microbes and m1pps. (Day 33) Got some more of that marine phytoplankton stuff to help stabilize my RO water. It’s got a good amount of soluble magnesium and trade minerals in it so that should help stop the yellowing on the zkittlez and WW. (Day 34) Things are looking great so far and they’re all recovered from topping/transplant/lst and thriving. Some slight yellowing and a few of the plants are cupping from heat and high humidity. I just put in a dehumidifier to help bring the rh down. The m39/zkittlez bagseed plant is just outpacing everything in the tent by 4-6 days. No wonder organized crime used to grow it. I hear it can completely flower in 45 days with a solid yield and very little trimming or leaf matter. It’s very weak on the high and smell though. Nonetheless it should be nostalgic to try those old terps. There is still a small chance that it’s a super vigorous zkittlez plant too. Plants should be showing sex this coming week. Hoping for 8+ fems but I can make do with just 4. 1-3 is unlikely but that would piss me off beyond belief. I’ve heard of it happening though.

I've defoliated all the plants 04/28-- 04/29 500ml of solution each pot, 4ml bio bloom + 3ml top-max + 2 ml bud candy (mll)

Lollipopped and topped at day 15. Added 2 Durban Poison clones.

Half of the first harvest done still have k lots to learn but off to a good start still got the Green Poison Auto goin

Spider mites are getting worse. Also have to harvest soon cause I start travelling next week and I can’t finish and dry them in time. But the trichomes are almost ready

Ok here we are, bloom begins. All running smooth. Veggie was crazy hope to keep it up. Pheno #1 (right) seems to be more sativa than #2 love this 💐

Week 5! GG4 finished week 4 on a rough note, she drooped hard overnight from 07/15 into 07/16, I'll will feed her an extra 1 liter of water + nutes this week, to prevent this from happening again. Aside from the early drying out, bud sites continue to develop nicely and she's got a good smell to her now as well as stickyness starting to appear.

As of day 14, the Blackberry is growing well! The growth is vigorous and pretty healthy, so I am going to just keep doing what I am doing. I am temporarily using dry cal-mag crystals to the same ppm/EC (.5-.6) as calimagic hasn't caused any issues yet. I can make my way through the bag I have before buying more calimagic, and not be wasteful! The Blackberry will be ready to be topped this week, so that will definitely be updated when the time is right. Happy growing, and stay safe everyone! 🌱👍 Day 15: plant has been FIMed! Day 29: She’s growing fast now. I’m trying to keep her short with continuous LST. I think I saw the first pre-flower on day 28. Day 30: There were too many leaves, so I did a huge defoliation to free up lower branches. Day 31: She reacted in the best way possible to the defoliation. Look at the amazing growth from 4:30AM to 11AM. 😜 Later that day I did a SUPER CROPPING (hyper would be better) on EVERY branch I could see. I know, that’s a crazy, fool, move, but if I don’t do stuff like this I’m not happy. Many hearts for you, lovely Stress Killer. I know you hate me now, but it’s for your best interests! Day 32: Recovering from super cropping. Day 33: Almost totally recovered, creating new branches, strengthening existing ones and showing new pre-flowers. Veery nice!

Second week of flowering. I have more than 50 bud sites in the 4 plants. I added 4 more 15w lamps (1350lm) to help the led panel that was small in the new tent. I didn't do any more defoliation and they are growing a lot every day. I am afraid to enter the tent in a few days and the plant will try to smoke me Good week everyone and lots of flowers
