Hey everyone,
It is going to be my second grow, this time I received 3-3 Ayahuasca Purps, and Peyote Critical from Barney's Farm. SO excited for these ladies!!!
2019-02-12: planted the seeds in coco pellets. I hope I will receive my tent tomorrow, so I can start working on it, and moving the girls in as soon as possible.
UPDATE on week1: it took only 2 days for them to pop!!!
100% Germination rate, 6/6 popped, although I'll only keep 5 .
My setup:
Secret Jardin HS80
2x 125W CFL
1x 300W CFL
Soil: Canna Terra Professional

Second week! They're growing strong and steady. I always have some problem with overheating the tent. The Peyote in the smallest pot is the tallest yet.
Hope to do an update on every Tuesday or Wednesday.

Also this is my first time topping, please feel free to let me know if I do something wrong.
-update on day 22: transplanted the one that was in the smallest pot, quite nice root system!
-upd. day 26: I gave them 12 hours of darkness, thereby flowering phase is ON! :P

Day 29: on the video, the 2 on the right side are the Ayahuasca Purps, the other ones are Peyote critical.
getting real bushy, need to defoliate soon
day 32: they got their first feeding, I only use a minimal amount of blooming nutrients.
day 33: plucked some leaves , cuz there was no airflow at all, also installed a new ventilator.
day 36: had to pluck some leaves again
This week they'll start growing pistils I hope :p
The peyote criticals already started showing pistils, but the Ayahuascas are waiting a few more days I guess.
The smell is better and better each morning when I open the tent :p
day37: extremely bushy ladies :'D
day38: light defoliation, I took around 10 leaves total
day 38-39: first preflowers and pistils starting to show up! resin production also started

Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot.
Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing.
The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem.
Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that?

Hey guys! It's really fun to be back again, this is my second grow. I'm kinda desperate for answers now, because the roots have started to come out of the bottom of the Airpots, as you can see on a picture I uploaded. Is this going to cause root problems?

Hey there Weed_gastro! They will be fine you got nothing to worry about if you want them to stop coming out of the bottom put something under them that lets air get to the bottom of the pot> then the bottom of the pot will do the same thing the rest of the airpot does, air prune the roots. or just leave them be and just make sure no pest get into you tent but you should have no problem at all.👍 It happens to me all the time when I grow in SmartPots they are those cloth pots with the same idea behind it air prune the roots. So yea nothing to worry about either just leave it or get a little air flow beneath the pot. Happy Growing!!
Day 50: I feel like I just water and defoliate them :'D
they always somehow manage to get their leaves in the way, hope I don't stun them too much with removing the leaves, but otherwise it gets too hot so quick...
Day 51: I removed a couple of bananas from a single branch of one plant..
Hey guys, today I discovered a few bananas on one of the Ayahuascas, only on one stems. I removed them, but I don't have much experience with this, should I also remove the stem they were on, or I should not worry at all?

If it was only a couple of bananas then no need to cut the stem , just take a look at that plant more often to prune the future bananas. Removing the stem is useless , most of the time the whole plant is hermie , but some can also have only a branch or just an hermie bud. If you know that you will not have enough time to monitor the plant then cut it to avoid an unexpected seeds production
day 55: 2 of the plants are finally turning purple!
I always have to remove some leaves for the lights to reach the lower buds, other than that I just feed and love them. :-)
day 57: those 2 plants are getting more purple every day now!
Unfortunately the camera cannot let u see what I see, but the colors are bright pink and almost pearlescent like. I will try and make more pics in natural light, but it's really tricky to get them out of the tent as they're pretty big now ..:P
Day 63: I had to remove 2 main stems because I found quite a lot of seeds...at least I got some spare space, it was extremely crowded anyways.
The 2 other "untouched" plants are turning purple amazingly, and the smell is getting stronger: I can feel some berries and that typical purple smell. :P (Amsterdam's bouque , as I call it :'D )
I was away for a week, gave them plenty of water when I left, and came home for this!! I gave them water for the last time I guess, and in a few days harvest is coming :) the smell is awesome, fruity as hell.
They had their flush almost 2 weeks ago, they smell so f-)king awesome!!! They also fattened up, I'm surprised but I'm also really curious about the yield.
One of the plants made no purple color at all, but I think that one is the most fat and sticky lady😎
