They both have fat greasy prebuds right now, and the Passion Berry has particularly long pistils. This week was emotionally tough. The Pineapple Upside-Down Cake hasn’t handled the transition well. Her color shifted to a dull, washed-out tone, the posture weakened, and the overall metabolism seems depressed. The stress accumulated during late veg is still showing: nutrient fluctuations, environmental instability, and then the photoperiod flip pushed her over the edge. She simply didn’t bounce back. At this stage, expectations for yield have to be revised downward. This run won’t deliver what the early training and maintenance work could have produced. Still, the plan is to take the plant to harvest rather than abandoning the cycle. Even a weak yield will provide useful feedback about stress management during pre-flower. The priority now is stability: hold EC steady, avoid aggressive feedings, monitor pH drift daily, and maintain a gentle VPD to reduce transpiration stress. No interventions this week other than observation and minor parameter corrections. The goal is to see whether she stabilizes or declines further. Next update in one week.

hello the plant is still very small, i think the roots gaining on weight and she will be bigger ------> ready for training 😀 she had some problems at the begginning; i think PH problems because of lower quality soil at the top 💀 but the bottom mix is full of organic nutrients so as soon as the roots are big the plant could evolve!!

Aun no vuelvo a regar foliar con jabon potasico, pero basto con un riego para eliminar bichos de la planta. Se ve super sana ah crecido bastante, quiero hacer algun corte (FIM o Apical) pero me da miedo de afectar algo. Temperaturas siguen bajas, poco riego porque mantiene el sustrato humedo por el clima. Day 84 After a couple heavy flushes these babies are done. They’re just going to spend a couple days in the cool dark tent to finish. These Fast Buds Pineapple Express all have different characteristics. One is super frosty and small with less dense buds. One has hard big dense buds with good trichomes and one kinda n between. They all have a sweet tropical citrus smell that smells super good. With these, the blue Dream and the Super lemon haze all done the smell in the house is too much to be contained and scrubbed…..

This week, we had a lot of filling out. Violet doesn't seem to grow as tall as wide! The leaves are so pretty, it's heartbreaking to cut them. 9/13 day 37 I thought I started noticing yesterday, but today, Violet quite obviously has red hairs! Hard to notice at a distance, up close, most of the buds have definite red hairs that match my own. Happy about her recent feeding, her luster is returning, and she's more and more full every day. 9/15 day 39 Every day is crazy hair day around this camp, and Violet always shows out with her long, white pistils. Over the last couple of days, the red hairs have been drowned out by more long whites, though I don't know why the back and forth. She is still getting very droopy kind of early, and no light adjustment seems to alleviate this. I've been reluctant to turn the light up to a proper level for flower so far because of it. Can not enough light cause similar symptoms? Every couple of days, I remove a leaf or two, do some tucking to uncover bud tops, and add or adjust LST. Getting wider than taller, she's really started to fill up the cabinet! 9/17 day 41 I take Violet out of the cabinet for what will probably be one of the last times, if not the very last. One fault of our cabinet is the narrow doorway, which we probably need to widen out at some point. Her layers are so well-defined and even, it is easy to see the separate tiers when looking at her straight on. I take off four big, sexy leaves, two of them the remaining original big fan leaves from the first nodes. There are still a couple more that need to come off the very top, but I can do those later, and I don't want to shock her too much at once. I also water 1gal today, enough to barely run out to preserve those nutes from last week's feeding. She looks very tired and sad as I tuck her back into the cabinet. Hopefully she will recover for morning pics. 9/18 day 42 Violet is slow to wake today. I have to detangle all her little leaves every morning, and today is extra. I'm going to adjust her light today. I've been waiting for her to not be so droopy at night, but we're going to see if it maybe helps instead of hurts. I do a moderate raise to 750 PPFD, about 45 DLI, to see how it goes. I also notice the return of the red hairs this morning! Unfortunately, there is no smell whatsoever yet, other than plant. Everyone who sees her says how healthy she looks. Anything that was appearing as light tips has filled out with color, and the beautiful blue-green leaves are full and lush. If everything I've read about this strain is true, we should only have a few weeks left with this plant, and the buds look like they're going to be nicely formed if we stay on course. I have so much hope for Violet's harvest!

I think this soil sucks

We have a stand out! There is one beautiful girl that is showing some beautiful colour, structure, frostiness, and fade ❤️ they are all very dense and frosty but this one girl has stolen the show. I cut their nutrients to almost nothing after running phd water for two waterings consecutively, still a few more weeks to go. I’ll be starting my routine soon if just phd water, but in a slightly higher volume to start breaking up any pockets or salts that may have been forming. Thanks for stopping by, won’t be long! 🇨🇦❤️👊

7/7 Grow diaries isnt letting me post a harvest week. So heres a little teaser. 65 grams dry. 2ounces 9. kaprikorns website says this is a low yielding plant. i cannot fathom what their high yeilding plants will do. this cultivar was only 12 inches from the soil line. i trained her fairly intensely but it was worth it. not much larf and the main nugs are nice and uniform. if you didnt train this plant, i can see how it wouldnt really yield much.

07/07/2025, beginning of week 8, a few issues have reared their head, done as many checks as I can on conditions and soil conditions and have come to the conclusion that I need to carry on sensibly feeding as these issues were probably present weeks ago but just not showing until now. Bud development seems ok and they are lengthening/stacking ok, she's becoming more and more frosty and starting to smell a bit, I think she will carry on lengthening this week before starting to flatten up from next week and will feed a accordingly. Fingers crossed it doesn't fall apart haha.
