Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. So the first week out for this plant and she’s put plenty of growth on since she come out a week today. I’ve been down every 2 days to water I have a little feed of grow to give a little boost. Had no rain few weeks now I think it’s due and she will shoot right up. I still abit of clearing to do to improve more light and air into the spot but so far it’s looking good. That’s all this week, happy growing🌱

Beginning of week.. Such weird bud structure.. Love the smell.. Fruity asf.. Since nights haven't been as cool as they were before, the colors seem to have stopped on the calyxes. The old ones are still purple, but the newer calyxes don't have any coloring.. Still a pretty mix of purples and greens.. The leaves look like they should not be an issue when trimming whatsoever.. They are huge.. Even at the tip top of the colas, so far.. The lollipopping could have been kept a node or 2 lower.. I should have nothing but massive top colas tho.. I can live with that.. Lol. I'm still finding my sweet spots with alot of things lol.. Trying to use a LUX Meter and convert to PAR to figure out how much my girls are getting. Lately, I've burned a few tops.. Not too bad.. didnt hurt the yield or trichomes too much.. But noticeable.. So I'm trying to find the sweet spot and still be able to just cut the power of the light down, lower the light toward the canopy so I can also avoid the summer heat which is coming.. So far, I can run this light at 50%, but keeping it about 14 inches above the conopy.. By harvest, I should be able to get away with 75% power at about 12-14 inches.. Just one plant and the footprint of the light is pretty wide.. So it should still get branch to branch pretty evenly.. Stoned ramblin hah! Mid week.. Wow.. These colas are getting massive! She didnt stretch much at all, if any. So, I lollipopped a bit high, in my opinion. But these colas are gonna be so massive, it shouldn't even matter at this point lol. She has ALOT of leaves and they are REALLY getting thick in there.. There isn't much airflow getting around these colas.. I should probably get a fan on there.. Or maybe defoliate a bit.. Not sure really now.. But damn, these colas are HUGE!.. they aren't very long, but holy shit there are getting so fat! Very fruity scent.. Pretty strong but still has plenty of time to get even stronger.. Wow. This autoflower is nothing like the White Widow auto.. That's for sure.. The white widow buds stay kinda small.. Airy.. They must have used a different auto to breed with.. Or maybe the white widow reg. version just isn't a big yielder.. Blah whatever.. This girl needs something changed quick tho.. Either a fan or defoliate more.. Or both.. A growmie just had some bud rot on one of his heavy yielding autos.. Never had the issue before and I don't plan on having it EVER. This is a very good, productive week so far. Next day.. I had to defoliate for sure.. And even pulled the branches down a bit more to help open her up some. I did not expect these colas to do this at all.. I even raised up my oscillating fan so that it's moving air above and below the canopy pretty well now.. Should be fine 🤞... Another thing.. The leaves are SUPER dark green.. The tops have some clawing and the leaves that are hidden away (mostly sugar leaves) do too.. I brought the FloraMicro down to .66 mL/L but I think I'm going to go down a bit further.. My last grow did this too and I went down to .5 mL/L and still ended the run with the issues.. So.. Damn.. Should I just cut it out completely? The colas are already so damn huge.. I just need them to swell up a bit and I can already tell I'm gonna be more than happy with the outcome. I guess I will just bring it down to .33 mL/L.. Eaiser to measure out that way for me too.. She shouldn't struggle or even notice any change.. The only thing I could see hurting is the lack of the Calcium in the FloraMicro.. But I'm going to see if bringing the Micro down that much will help this claw crap from spreading.. So still very happy with this run.. Not bad, ILGM.. Not bad at all.. End of week.. Yeah definitely going down to .33mL/L on the FloraMicro.. I'm sure she will be fine till harvest. No other issues should pop up. She is looking and smelling gorgeous as fuuuuck! She is already so dense and thick.. This is gonna be a nice harvest.. On to the next!...

All three seeds popped so I planted them into some 5 gallon fabric pots. Have them all just plain PH water (1 gallon for all three). First grow using coco so wish me luck

Didn't gain much height stands just shy of 53cm. Buds are gaining weight. Withstanding the High Temp. Done a light defoliation No mad foxtailing yet. But, as she moves out of ripening I've no doubt she'll start to push out some tails. She did pick up what was going to be a lovely fade. But, sadly I messed up somewhere and she lost her pigment of her purple. So, just gonna have to stick with a lovely chunky colorless monkey. Her buds are lovely and fruity, stinks of pungent berries. Really happy with this Auto. I like to try all breeders autos. And I'm happy to say. I see a lot of MSNL auto in my future. Hopefully next time. I'll be more on my game, and grab an purple pheno for my troubles. But, I doubt I'll have such hard environment to grow in. With co2, things can turn on their head with a lighting session. Start of week 7, grow is going great. I think she is starting the pre flower stage finally. Lst has been going great with shoots popping up everywhere. I have been able to keep the canopy pretty even throughout.

Still one orange Sherbert lags behind the rest in the race, I’m hoping it will be just s pheno thing rather than a weak spot in my room. All others looking great and possibly better than I’d normally be seeing at this stage of my grow. The plants have started to kick out an aroma, a skunky hash smell I’d say, at the moment anyway. The buds look like they should be fat, of the density I’m not so sure, let’s see how much they fatten up and tighten up. Beautiful covering of frost across all flowering areas covering pistils and leaves. I think at this stage that 3 of the 4 will be ready to harvest at 8 Or 9 weeks the slow one maybe at 10 weeks. ANYBODY!!!! Out there using New millennium WinterFrost. I’m really thinking about hitting the girls with the fear of death when the time comes, is it as effective as I’m lead to believe?????

Always a very pleasing on the eye strain to grow and was surprisingly easy to get a good yield with such a short veg and almost no training. Quality is pretty much 10/10
