Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. First 2 weeks only give light watering every 2 or 3 days, kept the lights on 24hr, kept humidity to 50% with average temp being 23 Celsius. Canna coco professional soil meant I didn’t have to introduced nutrients until roughly day 15 - 20

Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. But she'll come around 💪💚 Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de floración de estas Runtz de MSNL. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar. Las flores empezaron a formarse, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. Data.... So there we have it. Another harvest in the bag and some very nice nugs of Zamnesia Biscotti to wait to dry and cure to perfection. The strain has been great to grow with no issues with anything I threw at it. I didn't see the need to use anything to minimise the iverall size of my plants but went with the nutes to see what the results would be. We will get a better idea once dried and cured with a yield per plant to go with too. I am not expecting g a huge yield based on their overall medium size bit rhe buds look so sweet amd smell amazing of a pineapple type sweet and a fuel type undertone. I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

Decent strain to grow. Finished mid October. Did pretty good against mold and pests. Earthy lemoney smell. Fed 6 part GH nutes through a drip feed system.

I got my Optic 1 xl 100w COB LED in the mail just a few days ago and I’m super impressed with this light. The intensity honestly rivals a 250or400w HID light. The light was not at all super expensive. Only $203 after shipping, and it’s well worth it. ( I’m not at all trying to sell this product, I just haven’t see very many journals or reviews on them. Hopefully this journal will help give my view on this light) This is the start of week 1 in bud. I flipped the lights to 12/12 6days ago. And I’ve definitely noticed a stretch from each of these ladies. I think I’ve forgot to mention it but I’ve been using the TNB natural CO2 enhancer. It seems to be doing a great job. I feel like these ladies are definitely growing faster than the plants from my last round that didn’t have any CO2 enhancement. As you guys can see from the pictures and video I’ve installed a trellis net and started spreading these plants out. Over in my veg then the Hyer up plant that I’ve been waiting on to grow up a bit before I throw her into bud ended up being a male. So that means the only plant from this round I haven’t thrown into bud yet is my ATF which has also been in the veg tent with the Hyer Up and the clones. She’s only about 1 &1/2 foot tall from her soil. So I’m gonna give her an extra 2maybe 3 weeks before I get clones from her and put her in the bud room with the other ladies. In the video you can see a kinda gap or hole in the trellis in the back left corner. That’s where I plan to put the ATF when it’s time. Other than that everything is moving along great. I did another top feeding of dry amendments for the ladies I just put in bud. I’ll put those pictures in there as well. Thanks for checking out the garden.
