Hou_Stone In this grow, I'm embarking on creating a living soil mix in 15L pots, aiming for a richer and more balanced substrate than in my previous grows.
The goal is to promote soil life to nourish the plants more naturally, even if the result won't be perfect.
This soil mix is also designed to be reused and improved with each grow, learning from experience.
To begin creating this soil mix, I started with a base of Light Mix (70% peat/30% perlite) at 65%.
I spread it in a large basin to ensure thorough mixing after each addition. To this base, I added 10% activated biochar and 15% compost to provide organic matter and microbial life, as well as 10% rice hulls to improve aeration. To enrich the soil, I added a small amount of several powdered amendments per 15 liters: 20g of azomite, 10g of phosphate, 15g of seaweed meal, and 15g of oyster shells.
I also added 45g of BioGrow from Greenhouse Feeding, which forms the main nutrient base of my mix, providing most of the elements necessary for growth.
Once the mix was in its pot, I added a light layer of mulch and watered with a slightly acidic pH solution (5.2) to counteract the tendency of the compost and biochar to raise the soil pH. I will now let the soil stabilize for two weeks before planting my seedling.

Hou_Stone A little lollipopping this week.
For watering, I used tap water this week, again with a little citric acid to lower the pH. I add bio-enzyme about once every three waterings.
Hou_Stone At the beginning of the week, I'll top the highest branches, let it rest for a few days, and then at the end of the week, I'll apply my BioBloom fertilizer. I'll announce the switch to flowering next week.

Hou_Stone Switching to flowering this week, on the last day of the vegetative stage I added my BioBloom to the mulch before watering.
Approximately 50g of BioBloom for my 15L pot
Hou_Stone 17 Febuary
Flowering is well underway, with vigorous pistil development. The plants don't show any major deficiencies, and I'm pleased to see that my soil is stable! I'm no longer adding fertilizer at this stage; I simply water, adding BioEnhancer once every two weeks. The microbes and organic matter in the soil do the rest.

The plant are going good, its just looks like she's getting a small carence in phosphorus, propably due on the bit too cold condition on the night for the roots
I switch for an more powerfull lamp with 300W max but I put it at 75% of capacity or its getting too hot for my room.

Hou_Stone As you can see in some of the photos, my tent is a bit of a wild jungle. I've let my plants develop too many secondary branches and allowed them to grow too long for my small space. It's not a disaster, but it will definitely impact the harvest, resulting in smaller buds.

Hou_Stone Last week of bloom,
After watering the last weeks whith only water I have let the soil getting more dry and after 57 day of flowering i cut this ztrawberry and will let her dry in the same tente where she grow. See you soon for the harvest report!
Have a good day everybody! 🌞
