This week the plant almost doubled in size, i must add that we had very nice weather and stable temperatures, shes getting sunlight from around 7AM to around 15PM-16PM and after that just daylight, i dont think i can harvest before the competition ends so bad luck, but its still great to grow this strain, cant wait to see her full of buds, hopefully they get fatter than my last balcony grow, but of course i had some bad weather with my last balcony grows also this one is in a much bigger pot which i really notice 👌😀 22 august: nothing 23 august: nothing 24 august: water 25 august: nothing 26 august: nothing 27 august: water 28 august: nothing

Hello Growmies, As we enter week 18 of our journey with the Northern Lights by Zamnesia, the anticipation and excitement are at their peak. Let's delve into the latest developments from my garden. Our Northern Lights plant is displaying phenomenal growth. The buds are swelling and ripening beautifully, showcasing the success of our careful cultivation. Their density and frosty appearance are truly remarkable, indicating a high-quality yield on the horizon. This week marked the last phase of her receiving nutrients. I've meticulously managed the nutrient levels to support her through this critical growth stage, ensuring she received everything needed for optimal development. In the coming week, I'll be introducing Canna Flush to help remove any residual nutrients, preparing the plant for a pure and clean final product. Following this, she will be on a week of straight reverse osmosis (RO) water. This flushing process is crucial to ensure the final product is of the highest quality, with a smooth taste and pure aroma. Looking back at the journey so far, it's astounding to see how our plant has transformed, especially considering the initial challenges. Her resilience and our adaptive care have truly paid off. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Hello fellow cannabis lovers, this Week my pineapple express started to show her little buds in formation, so far she is healthy and really like to be under those new leds I got, they are really powerful and seems to do the job better than HPS... I hope no more little rust points on leaves.... We will see if it was the hps doing those side effects on leaves... The leds are producing less heat than my HPS, so this summer my bedroom will not become a sauna with cannabis aromatherapy ! 😀Added some worm castings and fish blood with bones and guano to the soil approximately 2 handfull all mixed and water 1. 5l. I will add some pics of her when she was in vegetative cycle. That is all until next week, thank you for checking up on my little grow and for all the nice comments received, it is so nice to have fellow cannabis lovers to share our labour of love with, so little people I know care about gardening... Here in the UK cities people just want to smoke anything and do not care about the plant the way we do here, they just see money and getting high... Also of course I cannot talk about it to others because of illegality and the less who know the better... This is the only place I share my passion for gardening and cannabis even if it is a breach in my secret, I am sure no one in the law care about my little personal medical cannabis production and have bigger criminals to go after, again wishful thinking? 😁 Anyway we have to show we cannabis lovers are no threat to society and can be functional and gardeners even after smoking! I hope one day cannabis is no longer a threat to society but a solution! Cannabis can be used in so many ways it is the Swiss army knives of the plant world, an ally for overpopulated cities, and help the world heal from their mad stressful way of seeing things and doing things. It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Her leaves are being leached of all their nutes. We are approaching the end of this plants journey within the next week or two. Molasses and plain bottled water seem to be doing her great.

Week 4 So we're 1 week into flowering. The growth has been amazing. The plants are taking the nutrients nicely. I just over watered one a bit, I'd let her dry out a bit before I continue to water. Getting very tall, I thought this one would stay shorter?! This is my go-to night time pain relief with good sleep strain. She will be staying indoors for safekeeping so hopefully I can guarantee to have some flower from her.

Little buds start showing up more and more everyday now, and the smell is incredible! Massachusetts has been experiencing some heat waves a lot with short intense thunderstorms with high winds yet these plants have continued to do what they do best and thrive. Plants have been given another round of Jobes organic granular feed with a 2-5-3 composition on NPK, and have started to restore their dark green color in new bud sites. I have been giving them heavy water due to the intense heat of 90-100 degrees, sometimes twice a day of around 3-5 gallons each watering which could result in slight flushing and more frequent feedings. I will have to wait and see, and watch how the ladies respond
