This plant has recovered from nutrient deficiency and is growing great. Doing lst everyday and plant is responding great. This is going to be a big girl. Still no signs of flower. The other NL from growers choice I grew took forever to flower also. Monday update - did a little defoliation. Looks a little thin. Should get fuller in a few days

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Week 5 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. All four ladies look happy and healthy with minor deficiency signs. All four are bulking up and frosty as my windows (it's -21 °c)! Well due the the massive front brought this girl down last sunday. Lots of lessons i learned this year, many thanx for all the help from everyone. Thinking by tuesday she should be ready to start trim. Did purchace myself a 16” ac infinity bud trimmer yesterday to help me. Peace everyone!

Germination day! First time grower. For my first time grow I decided to try my luck with autoflowers. The reason why was due to grow time, as I am growing for personal use I would like to switch up my strains every grow. For this grow I have went for Auto Daiquiri Lime by Dutch Passion - US Genetics catalogue, & Auto Royal Cookies by Royal Queen Seeds. After countless months of research, YouTube videos, grow guides, forms and speaking with friends who grow. I decided I would try a hydro grow in rockwool & coco. Day 1 plan: -1.5" rockwool cube x2 - ph'd to 5.5 - Rockwool cube placed inside of zip locked baggy (to help regulate humidity and keep rockwool damp) - Bagged rockwool place inside propagator - Hygrometer placed inside propagator to monitor temperature & humidity - Propagator placed on seeed heat mat inside grow tent. - Mars hydro 300W L.E.D placed 12" above propagator I hooked up my 360 camera so that I could monitor the temperature with ease from my phone and not have to constantly climb into my roof space. Next steps in 2-3 days time I will hopefully see signs of life and I will start to regulated my seedlings to the transition from propagator to grow tent environment. By day 4-5 I will transplant into a 4" rockwool cube. Stay tuned guys and watch me learn.

6/12/22: - today makes day 7 of flower/start of week 2 - no other updates besides massive growth the last week 6/13/22: - tucked branches under net - did some defoliation for air movement and expose bottom tops 6/14/22: - refilled reservoir 6/15/22: - ppfd 710 in center, 500-700 around edges, lights about 18 inches from canopy at 90% 6/18/22: - refilled reservoir - growth has been explosive with 1-2 inches a day.

My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Day 14, Two of the Orange Sherbets are a little behind & the one I’m trying to pull back from nutrient burn.. So far the White Widow Autos by Seedsman have been doing the best! Day 17 two of the Orange sherbet are a little behind the rest of the plants but overall I would say everything is going good! Seems like the orange sherbet that had the nutrient burn is starting to bounce back! Day 19 They are all really starting to take off! Probably gonna do some LST tonight or tomorrow!
