Es sind noch ein paar cm dazu gekommen und ich bin mit der Blütenentwicklung recht zufrieden. Der Bereich um die Blüten ist wundervoll bepudert. Das Wetter bleibt wechselhaft bis schlecht! Das Wetter bessert sich, leider habe ich einen massiven Befall von Trauermücken, Nematoden sind bestellt.

Diese Woche hatten wir mega Wetter und die beiden Ladies sind richtig abgegangen...😜 Eine der beiden hat diese Woche locker 50 cm zugelegt und der Stretch ist noch nicht zu Ende.....😗 Bin echt gespannt wie hoch sie werden ........😁 Die Blütenstände kann man jetzt schon deutlich erkennen und ich hoffe, das daraus richtig fette Buds werden......😎 Hoffentlich ist der Wettergott uns weiter hold und macht uns keinen Strich durch die Rechnung........😎

Woche 19 – Blütewoche 4 Diese Woche war weniger spektakulär als die letzten – zumindest wenn man meinen Zeitraffer fragt. 😅 Der Stretch scheint nun endgültig abgeschlossen zu sein. Im Vergleich zu den vergangenen Wochen bewegt sich das Blätterdach kaum noch nach oben. Stattdessen beginnt die Laughing Buddha sichtbar damit, ihre Energie in die Blüten zu stecken. Die einzelnen Budsites werden kompakter, die Blütenstände verbinden sich zunehmend entlang der Triebe und die Harzproduktion nimmt ordentlich Fahrt auf. Gerade auf den Sugar Leaves ist mittlerweile schon eine schöne Schicht Trichome zu sehen. Für Blütewoche 4 kann ich mich über die Entwicklung der Buds definitiv nicht beschweren. Ganz zufrieden war ich diese Woche trotzdem nicht. Das Sorgenkind: die Blattfarbe Bereits in der letzten Zeit wurde das Laub zunehmend heller. Einige ältere Fächer zeigen inzwischen deutliche Chlorosen und teilweise kleine braune bzw. nekrotische Stellen. Anfangs hatte ich vor allem die Nährstoffversorgung im Verdacht. Rückblickend habe ich aber wahrscheinlich selbst einen Teil zu dem Problem beigetragen. Also wurde diese Woche nicht einfach blind weitergedüngt, sondern erstmal genauer hingeschaut. Ich habe meinen pH-Pen neu kalibriert und anschließend Wasser und Erde überprüft. Mein Leitungswasser liegt ungefähr bei pH 7,7 und ist ziemlich hart. Zusätzlich habe ich eine Bodenprobe angesetzt, um besser einschätzen zu können, was tatsächlich im Substrat passiert. Auch beim Enhancer musste ich feststellen, dass ich ihn bisher nicht ganz so eingesetzt hatte, wie ursprünglich vorgesehen. Dazu kamen zeitweise ziemlich hohe Lichtintensitäten und durch die heißen Tage teilweise entsprechend hohe VPD-Werte. Kurz gesagt: Wahrscheinlich war es nicht der eine große Fehler, sondern mehrere kleine Faktoren gleichzeitig. Und ja – auch solche Sachen gehören für mich in ein Grow-Tagebuch. Fehler passieren. Entscheidend ist, sie zu erkennen und daraus zu lernen. Mäh sin hier ja nit bi Wünsch dir Watt. 🤣 💡 Licht & Klima Bei der Beleuchtung habe ich diese Woche ebenfalls nachjustiert. Die Gorilla hängt jetzt ungefähr 50 cm über dem Canopy und läuft bei 91 %. Am Sensor kommen damit rund 890 PPFD an. Damit bin ich wieder ziemlich genau in dem Bereich, den ich für die weitere Blüte haben möchte, ohne der Buddha unnötig noch mehr Stress aufzudrücken. Die heißen Augusttage haben die Klimaanlage ordentlich beschäftigt. Zeitweise ging die Temperatur deutlich nach oben und damit auch der VPD. An den gemäßigteren Tagen ließ sich das Klima dagegen wesentlich besser kontrollieren. Fütterung & Bewässerung Zum Übergang in BW4 bekam die Buddha wie geplant ihren Green House Feeding BioBloom Topdress. Anschließend wurde mit Enhancer gegossen. Danach hieß es erstmal: beobachten. Ich möchte jetzt nicht den Fehler machen, wegen der hellen Blätter ständig weitere Änderungen vorzunehmen. Bereits geschädigte Blätter werden ohnehin nicht plötzlich wieder dunkelgrün. Viel interessanter ist, ob sich das Schadbild weiter ausbreitet oder nach den vorgenommenen Änderungen stabilisiert. Auch die beiden Bodensensoren waren diese Woche wieder ziemlich hilfreich. Man sieht mittlerweile sehr schön, wie schnell die Pflanze ihren 45 Liter Topf leerzieht. Am heutigen Gießtag konnte man anschließend sogar unmittelbar verfolgen, wie die Bodenfeuchtigkeit nach oben sprang und sich das Wasser anschließend im Substrat verteilte. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Und während ich mir über irgendwelche gelben Blätter den Kopf zerbreche, scheint die Buddha selbst davon relativ wenig beeindruckt zu sein. 😅 Die Blütenentwicklung läuft weiter. Viele Tops tragen mittlerweile klar ausgebildete Colas, die Buds werden zunehmend dichter und vor allem die Harzproduktion gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Gleichzeitig stehen noch Unmengen frischer weißer Pistillen heraus. Da ist also noch sehr, sehr viel Luft nach oben. Der Unterschied zwischen Pflanzen- und Blütenbild ist momentan fast schon absurd: Einige Fächer sehen aus, als wollten sie mir unbedingt mitteilen, dass etwas nicht stimmt – und direkt daneben sitzt ein komplett bereifter Bud und sagt: „Keine Ahnung, was dein Problem ist.“ 🤣 🎥 Zeitraffer der Woche Nach dem Stretch der letzten Wochen hatte ich diesmal mit einem spektakulären Zeitraffer gerechnet. Tja. Absolut unspektakulär. 🤣 Aber beim direkten Vergleich zwischen Anfang und Ende erkennt man trotzdem die entscheidende Veränderung: Die Höhe bleibt nahezu konstant, während die Blüten langsam an Volumen gewinnen. Und eigentlich ist genau das die beste Nachricht dieser Woche. Der Bau des Gerüsts ist beendet. Jetzt darf sie fett werden. 😏🌳 📋 Fazit Blütewoche 4 Keine perfekte Woche – aber wahrscheinlich eine ziemlich wichtige. Ich habe beim Licht nachjustiert, meine Wasser-/Bodensituation genauer untersucht, die Düngung aufgefrischt und dabei auch ein paar eigene Fehler bzw. mögliche Fehlentscheidungen gefunden. Jetzt werde ich nicht hektisch weiter korrigieren, sondern der Pflanze erstmal Zeit geben zu reagieren. Denn trotz der auffälligen Blattfarbe macht die Laughing Buddha genau das, was sie momentan machen soll: Sie baut Blüten. Und davon verdammt viele. 😍 Auf in Blütewoche 5.

Lemon Haze Auto – Harvest Report 🍋🌿✂️ After a week of flushing, the Lemon Haze Auto was looking quite good and the trichomes showed me it was time. I decided to give her 50 hours of complete darkness before the chop and it really felt like the right move. 🌑✨ She was cut and hung up to dry, and after 9 days the buds were ready to be trimmed and jarred. The process went smoothly, and the final weight came out to 50g dry – not the biggest, but solid considering her smaller structure. 🌱💚 Now she’s curing, and I’m excited to see how the flavors and aromas will develop in the jars over the next few weeks. 🍋🔥

Day 91-92 CPK. WHITE DEATH decended on her neighbors. Mold showed up on one bud in 2 of the other plants in this tent, not on this plant but in plants on either side. Got some great advice from a grower that goes by m0use and thanks so much I followed your advice and am seeing no mold or damage. I removed the top that had the mold growing 2 inches below the affected spot there was nothing under or behind it or anywhere else that I could see so I must have caught it very early. Next I mixed 2 cups of spring water with 2 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide, then misted the whole grow until I had used it all. This was done at lights out I placed a fan in front of the tent opened the tent on all sides and let the fan dry her off before the lights came back on. When the lights came back on there were a few places at the back of the tent where I used a paper towel to dab some wet leaves then blow dried with no heat to be sure that section was dry, the blow dry was only a minute or 2. It worked plants looking great checked trichomes and they are all there and clear so mission accomplished. Again thanks to m0use for the help and I plan to start bud washing between chop and dry on all grows, I tried to reply to all answers on my grow questions but once again the techno caveman doesn't know how to do something simple. Copy and pasteing this on the other diaries... Yep that I can do. Ok happiness flush continues and starting to see some cannibal fade. Day 96 CPK. Finally got some color on this hulk. Day 97 CPK. Watered ph 5.8 she is so close that I did not check runoff. Got the big Banana out of the tent so I moved her forward and gave her a good inspection. Found one of the small outer tops that had been facing the back wall had a small half inch area of thin white mold which got cut out. I've added a mini dehumidifier in the tent and a large one to the room. I've never had a mold issue until I switched out that big16" oscillating fan for the 6" monkey fan. Strongly suspect there is no substitute for the amount of air that big fan moved. Especially since I added 1 more oscillating fan under the canopy to the 1 that was already there plus the dehumidifiers plus the 2 clip fans that have been there from the start of the grow. My rh is around 50%, CO2 around 1200 ppm. My other theory is over the winter there was COVID in the house and we kept the humidity in the house high to keep from coughing our heads off which has led to a mold bomb effect.

DAY 7 (we take the days count of the second monkey now for both) They have been potted in 1L containers now, I added some stone meal which has a ca/mg ratio of 2:1 :stone: LED is at 60cm and 80% burning down 😜 I couldn't find a monkey sticker, so they are monkey (1) and donkey (2) now. 💚 🧡 🐒 🐒 (edit: I just tried to look at the pics and make sense of it 😂 😅 😂 please feel free to smoke a spliff and sort the pics in your heads lol) Monkey is growing real small, maybe I found a method to make bonsais. 😝 Some of my baby plants have shown damage, I think it's caused by thrips in their first stage.. the soil they're in is really alive, I will discard it. I used tomato soil just for the start. Shouldn't have 😅 They all received 1/3 dose of Celaflor sticks into the soil - it's poison. It works inside the plant. Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.

GMO Cookies — Week 8 From Seed (≈ Week 3 Flower — 12/12 From Seed) “Served with extra curiosity.” 🌱 Quick Recap (For Everyone Joining Now) These girls have been running 12/12 from seed from day one. No traditional vegetative phase. They decided their timing — we followed. This is not about chasing more harvests per year. It’s about efficiency, energy management, and less unnecessary labor. We are now at Week 8 from seed, which we consider early–mid flower transition (Week 3 flowering) based on pistil development and stacking behavior. ⸻ 🌡️ Room Conditions The room is looking strong and stable. • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing) • PPFD: 800–1300 µmol/m²/s (varies per plant height) • Airflow: Heavy exchange + vortex + crosswinds Now let’s explain the why. We are prioritizing leaf VPD, not just room VPD. Because of strong airflow and active transpiration, we can run slightly higher humidity at this stage without creating microclimate issues. Big intake. Big exhaust. Vortex movement. Crosswind fans breaking boundary layers. This allows us to push intensity safely. And intensity is where the fun begins. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy We are not just running a top light. We are using: • Over-canopy lighting • Inner canopy lighting • Under-canopy lighting Why? Because photosynthesis doesn’t only happen at the top cola. Lower sites can remain productive if light penetrates and airflow supports them. Benefits: • More uniform energy distribution • Reduced larf • Better lower bud development • Higher nutrient demand (which we are seeing) This multi-angle light system is part of why we can push EC while still seeing substrate EC remain low. ⸻ Feeding & EC Strategy Current Irrigation EC: ~2.4 Substrate EC reading: ~0.9 That tells us something important: The girls are eating. When runoff/substrate EC remains low despite high input EC, it means uptake is strong and salts are not accumulating. The moment we see substrate EC climbing? We reduce feed EC immediately. CalMag first Our water is very soft. We raise EC to ~0.7 using CalMag before adding anything else. Why? • Calcium stabilizes solution chemistry. • Prevents nutrient lockout. • Reduces risk of precipitation when adding PK later. • Supports cell wall strength during high transpiration. 2. Base nutrients (Terra Bloom) 3. Additives (Power Buds, Green Sensation, Pure Zym, Sugar Royal) Mixing order affects solubility and stability. This is not random. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Development Defoliation was done recently. Result? It looks like nothing happened. The canopy refilled quickly. Structure is strong. Stretch is controlled but active. Stacking is beginning. They are bigger than expected at this stage, to be honest. This is where things get interesting. ⸻ 🔬 Macro Season Begins We are entering the phase where microphotography becomes meaningful. Yes, it’s always interesting. But now: • Trichome stalks are forming. • Resin heads are developing. • Pistil clusters are stacking. • Leaf surface gland density increases. From this week forward, macro and focus stacking will become part of the reports. Not for hype. Very simple throughout grow and didn't require loads of food.. Harvested around the 8th week of bloom, almost looks like 2 different phenotypes but they taste and last exactly the same.. The sativa looking clone ended up having lock-out on last few weeks when i tried to push them to far.. All in all a very pleasant smoke with sweet creamy tones which gives a nice tickle on the throat on the exhale.. Not my best yeilder but I'm positive if i ran her again i could improve.. Very sticky,pretty dense flowers which grind up nice and fluffy.. I found a pre-seed a few weeks bk now (cant remember the week, but logged it), but the wife nor myself have found anymore and we've got through a bit already so that is great for us.. My 1st photoperiodic strain from Emerald Triangle Seeds and im extremely pleased with the results..

At day 105 from seed, 59 days since the switch to 12-12, she is looking fine to me. I estimate that she'll be ready in 21 days from now but we'll see. She smells great, like sweet citrus and skunk, but not strongly. Not much to report.

I fed her some molasses last weekend. Personally I never really notice much difference after feeding molasses but I still try feeding it 2 weeks before harvest anyway. I have beed giving her just water since then. Going to flush real good this weekend, then let her dry out til the following weekend when I am going to harvest her. That should put the harvest date right around 1/27/18, which would be a full 3 months of growth - seed to harvest. The Blue Mammoth has been just a great plant to grow so far. I did not do anything to her except some defoliation. No bending, training, topping, etc... And she looks awesome in my opinion. She's bigger than the Girl Scout Cookies I harvested a few weeks ago, which yielded 2.6 oz. Looking forward to harvest, cure and smoke👍
