This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return! Die fünfte Woche startet mit einer (Teil-)Entlaubung, das Blätterdach ist wieder sehr dicht gewachsen. Die Blätter bekommen wieder ein satteres grün. Irgendwann innerhalb der nächsten Wochen sollten sie ihr Geschlecht zu erkennen geben, noch sind sie etwas schüchtern. Ich sehe die ersten Anzeichen, kann es aber noch nicht klar deuten - abwarten und Tee trinken. Ich habe dem Wassertank meines Autopot Systems einen Luftstein hinzugefügt. Wird das einen großen Effekt bringen? - keine Ahnung. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht. So langsam zeigen sich die ersten weiblichen Vorblüten, ich kann aber noch nicht bei allen 13 Pflanzen mit Sicherheit das Geschlecht bestimmen.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not finished, but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I finished topping off these pots with soil that is premixed with nutrients. The rain is watering today. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 4 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal , 30 ml Plant Tone, and 50 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #2and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 6 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. This morning we had plenty of rain and wind. No need for watering. The skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening. This week was a success. We had lots of rain, cool nights and humidity. This caused the #2 and #3 plant to develop powdery mildew. This is the challenge here on the Ozark Plateau. We are strictly organic. We use no systemic fungicides and the only pesticide we use is occasionally is organic pyrethrin spray. That said, now that we've identified the plants that don't have immunity, we'll treat with Arber bio fungicide. This treatment will last 5 days then they have to make it with what they were born with. Also the nutrients ran a little hot on them. That and the several hours of rain depriving them of iron has their centers looking rough. They'll be better next week.

Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! Week 15 - 06/21 - 06/27 Light - 200 W HPS & 265 W LED Day Temperature - 78 F Night Temperature - 68 F Humidity - 40 +/-5 D50 Flower - Fed the ladies their last nutrient feeding. Raised the HPS and LED lights up and turned the HPS down to 200 W, I am trying to emulate fall by lowering the amount of light. D53 Flower - Started the flush today with ph'd water and blackstrap molasses. I also decided to go ahead and defoliate one of the clones and both of the scrog plants. I didn't strip it bare, I just cut out the larger fan leaves. I opened the tent today and they were glistening and super potent smelling, I am probably a week away from harvesting! D56 Flower - Was on a trip and had to water the ladies with a timer and pump, thankfully everything worked fine. Flushed again with FloraKleen.

May 5 - 9

Die Damen bekommen seit einer Woche nur noch pH angepasstes Wasser. Der Herbst ist deutlich vorangeschritten und wir haben nun ca. 75% milchige trichome, vereinzelt ein paar Bernstein farbene. Die Ernte wird nächstes Wochenende vollzogen, es duftet bereits herrlich. Die Pflanzen werden ihren jeweiligen Namen gerecht.

What can I say....So far she is a beauty. Beautiful indica structure and easy to please. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. I feel like I need to cut a clone off her and cross breed it with something but not sure what. Maybe the bubble bomb.... Nutrients per gallon .75 tsp maxibloom .2 tsp liquid koolbloom .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

What an absolute stonker. I cant believe how big she has got in just 2 weeks. So many colas and buds. The smell is so good and gettinng some nice colour. Still a long way to go, she is going to be a good one.

***** Week 11 growth - February 20 to 26, 2021 - Week 3 Flower ***** These girls sure catch my eye every time I open the tent! MM1 has some awesome hybrid vigour and is looking F’n awesome 👏 👏 Stacking up beautifully and based on the diameter of their tops there is some swelling to come. Getting the underside cleaned with a good leaf strip has really changed her look and lower sites are getting of lots light now👊 I could have gone harder but that was good for me.....I will deal with some of the lower shit that may remain. Light is at 20” and pulling 480 watts at the end of the week. Stated off with 400 watts at the start of the week but keep pushing it up this week. I don’t want to break 1,000 to 1,100 PAR by very much as I am not supplementing with true CO2. I have an Exhale bag to raise it a couple hundred ppm. Feel the need to keep the intensity high for penetration lower in the canopy. Will lower the amount of time in daylight if stress gets too high. Push to 11/13???? Nutrients are following IPP HOG 3 Part pretty closely. Just playing with macro nutrient ratios but otherwise supplements are at full week dosages following week 3. Have been seeing great resin production last runs so staying with Rezin as part of their feed schedule in flower. Terpinator......I think I see a lot of sulfer benefit here so it stays in the grows as well. Recharge seems to be working out well but we did the change mid grow from Microbial Mass. Since in coco have to feed the microbes so they reproduce and really dig Nature’s Candy with Remos additives in there👍 To help keep the root zone clean we add Enzymes😃 I have been debating a lot lately about the addition of CalMag to these nutrient lines and it’s necessity but since in coco I keep adding some......noticed a couple of spots on MM2 so have added it back in a bit more this week. Little more detail....... Feb 20/21 - Day 15 - Full feed today.....it’s been five days. - tap water with Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP line at full strength. - 1400ppm and 6.1pH - 4L for MM1 and 3L for MM2. Feb 21/21 - Day16 - Dry out day Feb 22/21 - Day 17 - watering with supplements and light feed today. We are in mid flower now.....need to keep the macro nutrients up. - Epsom salts @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. Purple on stems is getting prominent......could be cold temps but also giving magnesium. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, grow @ 1ml, micro @ 2ml, bloom @ 2.5ml, Recharge @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. - 1400ppm and 6.0pH. - MM1 - 5L and MM2 - 4L. Feb 23/21 - Day 18 - keeping up the silica this watering - silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Ultimate B+ @ 1ml - 600ppm and 6.0pH - 3L for each girl. Little to no runoff this watering. Feb 24/21 - Day 19 - full feed again today.....girls are big and growing hard......keep it going💪 - IPP line as listed for full line. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml - 1425ppm and 6.0pH - they are taking the high ppm feeding well. Feb 25/21 - Day 20 - Had some feed water left from yesterday. Added plain tap water to get 20L. - 810ppm and 6.1pH - 2L for each girl......don’t want to over saturate the medium. Feb 26/21 - Day 21 - Nothing today. - Will feed early tomorrow as it’s Saturday. - Let the root zone get some oxygen is my thought and water to nice runoff first thing in morning. Week three behind us looking forward to week 4. Expect to see more swelling and hopefully little stretch🤞 Frost levels are coming on strong and they have great signs for things to come💪😎 Pheno 1 is Turing out to be fire.....hope the terps to come are going to be as impressive. Thinking that these girls are going to primarily be turned into concentrates......or take a good size sample and see how she squishes👍 Glad we rolled the dice on this strain ETS.....now for patience😉

Whats Up from Down Under growmies?!! Another update- And its been a week thats for sure. I noticed a few spots of bud rot on some of the Zkittlez main colas- after that rain last week- so being week 7 in flower heading on into week 8, I decided to chop the affected buds and a few around them. After sniping out the mold, its hung up drying now. After speed drying a few nugs to see, it was obvious she wants a week more to put on a bit more weight, she dries out to weight next to nothing but damm is she clean as a whistle!! Very fresh and sweet smell, and taste with a racy head high thats on the short lived side. That also suggests she needs at least a week more if not 10 days. But what can ya do? Its a few Oz easy if it kept its weight. Quite enjoying the smoke though so cant complain. Id be annoyed if it was for sale as it weighs next to nothing, but its not. I ran it super light on nutes the whole way, and prob stopped bloom nutes a week too soon looking back, so light weight is to be expected in early bud. A dose of humiboosta this week was given to help release any remaining nutes in the soil and give the plant a boost in carb production for its last week or so. Hash plant is looking good considering its issues, its fought off mold on its own it seems, I snipped off a few buds that had issues, but all in all its doing well for a runt I fed even less than the others. Colas are looking very fox tailed but also filling in quite well despite that, will be interesting to see what the final buds look like. Gave a final dose of light Bloom nutes and Humaboosta for her last two weeks or so. Project Sour lemon D got a heavy dose of bloom nutes as she basically wasnt fed until I saw the buds were actually buds and not bananas. So second proper feeding since she started flower a few weeks back. And decided to do this weeks diary in the Twilight light, as I noticed the Zkittlez had a Visitor that was settling in for the night to do some hunting, so added a few pics and a vid of him/her also.
