420 Fastbuds FBT2302 Week 4 Weekly update for these two beautiful plants. Both seem about the same height though one is definitely more stacked. I did do a major deforliation on both taking off most bigger fan leafs, even though you can't tell. I'll probably do another mild one as they transition into flower as I'm starting to see pistols forming. I did up the water/feeding to 2000ml every other day alternating from nutes to just ph'd water. All in all Happy Growing

Auto Ultimate is an absolute BEAST!!! She’s taller than the another two by far!!! They are all flowering really well and seem to be hitting it out of the park!!! This grow is by far better then our first grow!! The plants are bigger the bud structure is looking amazing everything seems really to be on point!!! We have defoliated far more this grow and it seems to really be beneficial!!! The only thing I would have done differently is I would have LST’d sooner as these stems got super thick super fast so there was only so much bending we could do without breaking them. Had we done no LST these girls would be at the top of the tent by now especially Ultimate!!!

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Was a little bit challenging for me, due to the outdated nutrients table, mostly on the Flowering period, also little thing like i have to fill more the pots, also with this kind a strain and also with cuts instead of seeds, may be is better to don't do the topping and don't loose time and energy on the vegetative period. At the same time, more or less about the 8th week of flowering it starts to appear something like Alternalia or Overfeed of Phosphor still don't sure. All this issues have impact the grow in terms of the size of the branches and the whole plant, the size of the buds and the hardness. In strictly terms about the strain, the quality is out of mind, amount of resin is crazy, just have to improve my skills and get bigger crops

In 1995, scientists placed human DNA inside a sealed, air tight tube with photons. Without the DNA, the photons arranged themselves in a random scattered pattern, but when the DNA was inserted, the photons formed an alignment. Are there metaphysical, multidimensional aspects to our DNA? Have we just begun to understand what DNA is and what it represents? Vladimir Poponin is a well known Russian scientist who in 1995, with his colleagues, including biophysicist Peter Gariaev, conducted a very interesting experiment during their time at the Russian Academy of Sciences. In their paper (P.P. Gariaev and V.P. Poponin. Vacuum DNA phantom effect in vitro and its possible rational explanation. Nanobiology 1995 (in press)), Poponin states, in the introduction of the report, that, “We believe this discovery has tremendous significance for the explanation and deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying subtle energy phenomena including many of the observed alternative healing phenomena.” Why did he feel this way? We will get to that. Poponin and Gariaev tested the behaviour of DNA on photons, little tiny bits of matter, in the “quantum” that our world is made up of. They put photons into a tube specially designed to simulate a vacuum, just like the vacuum of space. With no air inside, they inserted the photons as they wanted to see what they did and how they behaved. The photons were distributed in a way that was completely unordered and random, scattered all over the container. This of course was what the team of researchers expected. Next, samples of human DNA were placed inside the tube with the photons, and what happened next is what’s truly mysterious. The photons reacted to the DNA, and changed their pattern and formed a specific alignment. In the presence of living material, the human DNA, the photons organized! This signified that the DNA was clearly having a direct influence over the photons. It’s one of many examples hypothesizing that something within us has a direct affect on the physical material matter outside of us. This experiment was repeated and confirmed, and it was further observed that human DNA has a direct affect on the quantum ‘stuff’ that our world is made up of. Fascinating to say the least. The Next Big Surprise The next big surprise was observed when the researchers removed the DNA from the container. The scientists assumed that the photons would simply return to their original scattered state, but this didn’t happen. Instead, the photons remained ordered as if the DNA were still in the tube. Poponin described the light as behaving “surprisingly and counter-intuitively.” The researchers hypothesized and were “forced to accept the working hypothesis that some new field structure is being excited.” Is there something being left behind? Something in non-physical form? This experiment tells us that DNA is communicating with the ‘stuff’ our world is made of, and that there is some sort of invisible field that exists. Perhaps DNA represents a place of storage and communications to the past? To the future? To others in the universe who have left their mark, so to speak. Who knows. Quantum Physics and Consciousness Nobel laureate of the twentieth century Richard Feynman once said, with regards to quantum mechanics, “we choose to examine a phenomenon which is impossible, absolutely impossible, to explain in any classical way, and which has in it the heart of quantum mechanics. In reality, it contains the only mystery.” Another great quote that comes to mind anytime the world of science dives deep into the mysterious world of quantum physics: There seems to be a deep concern that the whole field will be tarnished by studying a phenomenon that is tainted by its association with superstition, spiritualism and magic. Protecting against this possibility sometimes seems more important than encouraging scientific exploration or protecting academic freedom. But this may be changing.” – Cassandra Vieten, PhD and President/CEO at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. The reason why the association with superstition, spiritualism and magic mentioned in the quote above exists when it comes to examining certain phenomenon is simply because the observed phenomenon is unexplainable. But it’s important to remember, just because something is unexplainable does not mean that it’s not real, it simply means we don’t fully understand it yet. Academia has a long history of rejecting phenomenon, that’s clearly real, yet simply unexplainable. Quantum physics clearly has a strong connection to consciousness and metaphysical phenomenon. Max Planck, a physicist who originated quantum theory, regarded consciousness as “fundamental,” and matter as “derivative from consciousness.” He said that “we cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” This has been demonstrated quite clearly by multiple experiments, like the quantum double slit experiment. A paper published in the peer-reviewed journal Physics Essays by Dean Radin, PhD, explains how this experiment has been used multiple times to explore the role of consciousness in shaping the nature of physical reality. In this experiment, a double-slit optical system was used to test the possible role of consciousness in the collapse of the quantum wave-function. Photons were shot through two slits, in multiple different ways. The study found that factors associated with consciousness “significantly” correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double slit interference pattern. In this experiment, tiny bits of matter (photons, electrons, or any atomic-sized object) are shot towards a screen that has two slits in it. On the other side of the screen, a high-tech video camera records where each photon lands. When scientists close one slit, the camera will show us an expected pattern, as seen in the video below. But when both slits are opened, an “interference pattern” emerges — they begin to act like waves. You can refer to the actual study to find out more about that if you want to see a visual demonstration of the quantum double slit experiment. The point is, consciousness changes the behaviour of the particles. “Observation not only disturbs what has to be measured, they produce it. We compel the electron to assume a definite position. We ourselves produce the results of the measurement.” The study cited above points out that “factors associated with consciousness, such as meditation experience, electrocortical markers of focused attention, and psychological factors including openness and absorption, significantly correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double-slit interference pattern. The results appear to be consistent with a consciousness-related interpretation of the quantum measurement problem.” The Takeaway DNA is fascinating, and it’s probably the least understood part of our biology. There are definitely interesting metaphysical non-material aspects to our DNA, and changes to our DNA can come as a result of our thoughts, feelings, and emotions alone. HeartMath researchers have shown that physical aspects of DNA strands could be influenced by human intention. The article, Modulation of DNA Conformation by Heart-Focused Intention – McCraty, Atkinson, Tomasino, 2003 – describes experiments that achieved such results.

Good week my diesel glue is really starting to branch up after topping at the end of last week I have continued 4days ago and today moderate defoliation I need the Poppin Cherrys pheno to get growing lol, I had a cultivator mystery stain, not last grow the one before that had a decidely slow start but bloomed into an exceptional phenotype, hopefully more similarities than Early leaf structure

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁

have had some temperature problems with the change of the season but i think im dialed in now. this first run really has been trial and error. but so far the buds are swelling nicely. zkittles has more bud sites, and is taller and bushier. blue dream buds are already bigger than zkittles

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. I’m Very Proud Of The Of The Purple Power If You Go Back To Week 1 You Will See That She Started Off The Slowest But She Is Now The Tallest In The Pack Standing At 21 Inches (that’s without adding the few cm I covered with soil) She Has Also Shown Signs Of Purple In Her Bud Development (Favourite Color) Can’t Wait To See Them, You Go Girl! I’m Also Proud Of The Gorilla Glu (12 inches) Stardawg (17 inches) And Girls Scout Cookies (16 inches) Development, They Are My Favorite Buds Here In The UK. This week I installed floraflex automated watering system. Also I started feeding FloraFlex V1 and V2 nutrients 600ppm + Botanicare CalMag at 200ppm for a total of 800 ppm.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. This soil has nutrients premixed into it. I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients will be dry amendments per gallon of soil. In anticipation of possible heavy rains I filled pots halfway with soil. Half the soil and it dries twice as fast. I will add soil as soon as these get taller and are out of danger from excessive moisture. These had an excellent start. We had a couple of warm 70°F sunny days to start off their first week. The third seed popped overnight and made it's appearance on day 2 this week. We got more rain on night 1 and some early morning Day 2. More rain on day 5 that continued intermittently through the night and into the morning of day 6. Day 7 we had sunshine in the afternoon. The wet conditions these seedlings faced are challenging for cannabis. Cannabis especially seedlings don't like wet feet. I've come to appreciate fastbuds genetics for their hardiness to challenging outdoor conditions. Despite the rainy overcast weather this week was a success. All three of these girls are growing and developing without showing any major stress. We will have cooler days and more next week, but these fastbuds are going to thrive as their roots develop and begin to explode upward.
