Alex_mir_doch Here we go. The Papaya Cookies is off to a lightning start and is already reaching for the light. The Cherry Cola, Orange Sherbet, and Strawberry Gorilla have also popped, but you can't see them yet. (I carefully dug around with a needle and checked) Until they break through the roots of the Jiffy pots, they can stay inside under a 100W grow light. After that, it's time for some fresh air.

Alex_mir_doch That went faster than expected. Not even a week later, they're going out to the garden 50km away, and the babies will be placed in the 20l final pots along with the jiffy. At first, they'll still be in the greenhouse with the tomatoes because it's still quite chilly. Since the garden is so far away, I can only check on them on the weekends. In the meantime, they're on their own.

Alex_mir_doch Since the ladies will be standing among the strawberries in the future, I've already set up a drip irrigation system there. For now, the watering with the liter bottles easily lasts a week, but that will change soon. But until then, they'll stay in the greenhouse.

Alex_mir_doch now it's getting stressful. down with apical dominance! the green clip on the strawberry gorilla will turn out to be a mistake. I rotated the pictures 90° so they can be fully displayed. from now on, there will also be nutrients in the bottles.

Alex_mir_doch 10 days later. 📸1: papaya cookies 📸2: orange sherbet 📸3: cherry cola 📸4: strawberry gorilla 📸5: family photo 📸6: June bug 👋 flowering week 1/2 since the papaya cookies and the cherry cola are a bit further along than the orange sherbet and strawberry gorilla I'm tapering off the grow nutrients and adding bloom nutrients now. By chance, I picked up a few other additives at the small gardener fair in Berlin.

I'm curious to see what this stuff can do. I defoliated a bit more. I noticed a bud with mold on the cherry cola. I removed the whole branch. better safe than sorry. it's not a big loss. unfortunately, the mold was to be expected after seven days of rainy weather. luckily, it wasn't much.

Alex_mir_doch flowering week 6/7 🎬1: all four together 📸2-4: papaya cookies 📸5-7: orange sherbet 📸8-10: cherry cola 📸11-13: strawberry gorilla 📸14-17: mold 📸18-23: greenhouse and tomatoes 📸24-29: what else is growing in the garden the rain isn't letting up. you try to time the autos so they catch the best sunny months during flowering, but the weather isn't cooperating. already two weeks of rainy weather and next week doesn't look any better. so far, only the compact buds of the papaya cookies and cherry cola are affected by mold. the infestation is still manageable and can be easily trimmed away. I briefly considered moving the plants into the greenhouse with the tomatoes to protect them from the rain. however, the conditions there are even better for mold with 100% humidity. at least the other plants in the garden are doing well.

@Alex_mir_doch, I just had a subtle meltdown after everything disappeared for the second time. For a moment, I thought about quitting. But it's just too much fun. 😅

why does GrowDiaries sort the clip to the top as a platform? it should come after the individual shots. man oh man.

If they are rotting away in size, your location is a problem. You've already trained them nicely for width instead of height (smaller buds), and they're still rotting. Probably due to the other plants around and not enough direct sunlight, the humidity is too high for the ladies.. a place with more light and fewer other plants would probably be better suited ✌️
Alex_mir_doch
Alex_mir_doch commented1y ago
@GermanGrow182, thanks for the tips. The ladies are in the blazing sun when it shines. My suspicion is that it's due to three weeks of rainy weather. It only affects the plants with particularly dense buds. The moisture that collects there can't evaporate in such weather. That's when you get the
