Woo-hoo! Time for another round on Barney’s Farm genetics! And a new one I haven’t tried yet, yah!!!! One of my favourite breeders to grow, they never disappoint! Had these seeds for awhile now so I figured I’d give the 3 of them a go along side a single feminized Alien Technology plant in my RDWC setup. So seeds went directly into a cup of water for the first 12hrs overnight and then I placed them directly into wet rock wool cubes and back into the dry cups and covered them for about 24hrs. I then put them in my single 3 gal starter DWC buckets/clay pebbles under a 18/6 light schedule. 2 came up the next day and the third one needed some help shedding her seed and skin off and she was up the next day. 3 for 3 again👍 Got them in just plain water with 3ml/gal UC Roots added. I’m keeping the rock wool moist and watering the clay pebbles around it for the roots to explore outwards. I have very small rock wool cubes this time as I bought them by mistake, but gonna try them and see how they do. They really aren’t much bigger then the seeds....lol humidity was low to start so I added a humidifier to the tent and was able to get it up to 50% or so. This will do I think as they are sitting directly over a bucket of bubbling water as well. Temps are stable around 25c in the day and drop to about 20 at night. Fast to flower some decently large nugs! This girl is the only one that survived my "initial torture test" for my sf4000(dimmed to 75% (333watts) in quarter of my 3x3 tent)! She was very resistant to "too much light intensity" as a seedling, and didn't mutate! Once the light was at an ideal height, she started vegging very strong, but 1 week of important time had been lost. She started to flower, and stacked up a bunch of dense buds very nicely! I'm very excited to be growing this strain again next run!-with more training.

Week 17 Day 113 (04/12/2020)💧: Nice start to the week with a watering. Just as last week, I will be giving them the increased nutrients until the flush. So today I gave them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. Day 114 (05/12/2020): The trichomes were looking beautiful today! (really hard to take close of pictures of them though). You can see in the pictures that some are getting more amber now which is a great sign that the girls are almost ready 🌸 Day 115 (06/12/2020): Took a quick pic of the tent but didn’t have much time to check the girls properly. I’m sure they are great as always 👌 Day 116 (07/12/2020)💧: I watered the girls today with the same nutrients: 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. The buds on this girl are looking super dense and even the ones at the bottom are getting bigger! I hope that this 6ml of TopMax will fatten them up even more in the next few weeks before harvest 😄 Day 117 (08/12/2020): Didn’t have time to take pictures today actually Day 118 (09/12/2020): I’ve gotta say that their smell is definitely evolving in a more “mature” direction and they are starting to smell less like citrus and a bit more earthy and spicy. Really incredible! Day 119 (10/12/2020)💧: Watered the girls today with the same nutrients as last time giving them 1.5ml of BioGrow, 6ml of BioBloom, and 6ml of TopMax. They are both doing well but again some of the leaves and stems at the bottom were definitely a bit sad and wilting. But nevertheless, I took some videos and close-up pictures and they look incredible. Their red tint is definitely developing more and more, which is especially noticeable when I take close ups. Also looking from their trichomes, there are some amber ones already so I am thinking to even start the 2 weeks flush from next watering onwards and prepare for harvest! Will assess the trichomes in a few days and decide.

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)

"What you get for a bag seed" week - I've stopped using the Nitrogen reach nutrient. Bloomax is 1.7:14:14.5 NPK, by the leaves it seems like they have a slight nutrient burn, so it feels right to reduce nutrients. - I've done some really low stress training on PE, just opened a light space for lower buds And............... - 'I think I saw a pollen sac', indeed suddenly something green appeared on the top part one of BD's biggest colas.... I've decided to use tweezers and get it out - Now I imagine hermis everywhere, I've read about them a bit, mainly looking for images.... Something about PE doesn't feel right. Just spoke to friend and he also thinks PE has many pollen sacs. I'm going to try to save it - problem is I can only see the bastards when I take a picture with extra zoom... at least she's not huge. I guess BD is pollenated by now.... will update..... EDIT: I've transferred PE outside, week 6 of flowering starts today, so I think I'll harvest her in 10 days. She originated in a bag seed, so I'm taking it easy, learning a lot!!!! My first grow is kind of a rehearsal - the feminized seeds arrived couple of weeks ago and I hope to start a new diary soon :)

July 12: Sunday Punch EV is definitely the star plant this year. Very impressive grower and is doing great. Force flowering by putting in dark garage for 10 h per night plus using far red light at dusk. Far red light puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so its like having a 26 h day. This is a great trick if you have daily access to tour plant. Added a 1:1 mix of malted barley and Power Bloom. I had added barley a few days ago, but those sprouted, and then I remembered that its supposed to be malted barley. Removed the barley and replaced with malted barley. July 13: obviously stretching even after just the first night of force flowering. She seems really good. July 15: still stretching.

I am starting a Runtz auto that I will be growing for the plagron eternity grow. I scuffed the seed, and dropped it in a cup of water. Everything is off to a normal start. Update: what a week full of activity and positive growth. The Amnesia is a big beast of a lady now. She is nearly 2.5ft across her canopy and growing. I have had a shuffle round in the grow space and she is now under the sp250 with her soil friends. The supercropped knuckles are nice and chunky to support the spiked colas I plan on her having. She has flattened out nicely too. I expect her to get even wider by the flip time and with so many growing tips she should be a good producer. Sweet Afghani Delicious has thankfully now started her real recovery from the root rot after a week in new feed. She has some good potential for a decent finish by the way shebhas bounced back over the last 2 days with new growth and now starting to fill up wirh chlorophyll again. Red Hot Cookie is also on the road to recovery with way more colour and actual vertical growth starting too. Her 5th node looked done for so i left it to fall off if it wanted and concentrated on the 4th nodes but she had other ideas and has now began growing the 5th again. Overall inam happy to see a recovery in them as i thought I was going to lose the nft girls from all the damage. Now at 100% power on the sp3000 with an rh of 67% and room temps at approx 24.5°c. With another weeks growth I am hoping to be close to flipping them all as the Amnesia is in danger of total room domination!!. Be safe and well. GGD

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. 5 cm in 3 days. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. Also 4cm in 4 days. She will be low yielder with good stuff. It smells sickkkk.

So these ladies are in full swing of flower and the stretch I have tucked any branches I can under my netting too spread out the plants and too fill the tents canapy they are growing about 1 or 2 cm every other day at the moment so tucking under is the order of the week Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,
