An intense heatwave has been rolling through the grow environment, making it tough to dial in the VPD. The air is very dry, and since I don’t have a humidifier (yet), mitigating the high temperatures has me stuck between a rock and a hard place. Fortunately, I’ve reached flower, so a drier environment isn’t the worst thing in the world. But it’s definitely been a challenge! --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: Around 2.23 kPa Temperature: ~30°C Relative humidity: ~40%

The plant is monster even though I topper at the 6th node she is 51in tall and smell nice fantastic but requires support the plant grows very tall even before having lots of weight in the buds it requires support . today I brought them outside the tent to give them a good water down in order to drain out any excessive buildup in the soil. Alright, so we're moving along with the grow but some of these ladies seem to be struggling just a little bit more than others... they're definitely growing at a great pace but the foliage just looks rough. I stopped the alfalfa Ferment thinking it might be a little to potent for them right now... we'll see how they look after another week. I'm sure they'll all grow out of the funk.

No surprises. Topping has been done at this point. Temperature and humidity controlled as much as possible. Some bending and light intensity increase. A 2x4 tent is actually too small to bring two plants to the height and spread that I would have liked. Ideal for one plant. Targeted not to have these 2 tent plants grow higher than 36” to avoid overcrowding.

SUNDAY 4/21: I fed them about 1/3 gallon each today. Switched to Beastie Bloomz and increased terpinator. I inspected them for nanners and found none today. Will take some photos tomorrow- MONDAY: Too busy with life to spend much time in the garden today. TUESDAY: I rearranged and took some photos today. WEDNESDAY: I took some photos and a video. I watered all but one of the C4 hybrids today. Only the best one still needs water..tomorrow- THURSDAY: I watered with about 1/3 gallon and included some terpinator, calimagic, and beastie bloomz. I did a bunch of training on them to get some separation and better light penetration into the lower flowers FRIDAY: I did some more training on them today and I made some improvements to my fresh air a/c intake in the tent that dropped the temp a couple of degrees, and the new dehumidifier is keeping the RH right where I want it..45-50%.👌 This allows the evap cooler to be more effective at cooling as well...above 50% RH and it's basically just a fan..

Day 50 She is drinking 3 liters every 3 days. Noticed the tips are slightly nute burn so have lowered the nutrients slightly. Bud sites filling in and swelling nicely. Very frosty. Swapped big bud for overdrive.

Thank you spliff seeds for lab results! Excited about the cured and finished bud, i have enough asside to smoke and wait while the main jars are being cured at 62 rh and around 18 degrees celsius.

Despite her flaws due to my own fault she was giving me a real cheese smell but now the wedding cake comes through and sweetens it up. She smells amazing

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . 12 days after the switch Tropicanna Banana shows her sex and officially begins flowering. On day 28 I started with the Bio Heaven and Acti Vera stimulators, although the soil is prefertilized for only 2 weeks, the girls are in perfect shape and for now they don't need fertilizers. I inserted wooden supports in the grow to reduce the effect of negative pressure, it took away important space for growing. This week i've stopped using the humidifier.
