Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Elternpflanzen der Guava Sundae Auto sind Guava Auto RF3 und Sundae Thumper F4, ergibt einen Hybriden Canabisstrain, der nach tropischer Guave und cremigem Gelato schmeckt. FastBuds macht keine Angaben zur Größe, Wachstumszeit oder THC-Gehalt. Die Guava Auto RF3, Teil der Genetik der Guava Sundae Auto, hatte ich beim letzten Indoorgrow dabei. Sie ist schön gewachsen, hat mir gut geschmeckt und hatte eine schönes High. Für mich ein guter Grund, die Guava Sundae Automatik zu testen. Tag -6: Die neuen Air Pots 7th Gen. sind da. Zeit, den Growroom vorzubereiten. Im "Erdlager" reift die Sonnenerde vom letzten Indoorgrow schon einige Monate. Ich hatte sie mit Monster Bud Mix Living Soil und Hornspänen gefüttert, jetzt kommt noch aktivierte Pflanzenkohle von Jungle Vibesw aus Freiburg dazu, Dann kommt die Erde in die Pötte. Nächstes Mal werde ich das wieder draussen machen und die Töpfe reintragen, gab 'ne ganz schöne Sauerei und ich konnte den Growroom nochmal putzen... Tag -3: Zeit, das automatische Bewässerungssystem zu testen. Ich erhoffe mir dadurch eine gleichmässigere Bewässerung, sowohl von der Menge als auch von Temperatur des Giesswassers. Die Tropfer sind schon bestellt. Tag 0: Endlich ist es soweit, die Samen kommen in SmartStart Plugs von Zamnesia, die sich in Seedbooster Plus editiertem Wasser vollgesaugt hatten. Tag 3: Der Keim ist da, die Blätter sind zu sehen, die Schale klebt noch dran. Tag 4: 5 cm am ersten Tag, die Kleine legt am schnellsten los. Tag 6: 10 cm am zweiten Tag, da wird sie gleich angehäufelt. Beim Pflanzen habe ich diese Mal vergessen eine Kuhle für's Pflanzloch zu machen. Jetzt muss ich die Erde zum Auffüllen seitlich zusammenkratzen. Natürlich darf Neudorffs WurzelAktivator nicht fehlen. Es freut mich, dass du dir meinen Grow ansiehst. Such a beautiful week! They went straight into flowering and at the same time the growth stage is still visible. Good potential for large plants. I imagine they will finish in ca. 4-5 weeks. It's great to see them explode! I feed/water them every ca. 2nd day. The look more healthy then their sisters that are only in coco. Thanks for stopping by! Welcome to week 7 of flower! Our new camera should be in this week so I'll be able to capture better photos! Things are just grooving along at a nice pace, I will be looking to check the trichomes this week to see where everythings at but I know for sure we still got some time left especially for Fuel D.og. Over all really excited to see what this week will bring and hopefully we will be starting flushing the plants by weeks end! Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Friday 1st December 2023 So today marks the start of week 2! Both plants are growing every day, everything seems to be going well so far! The TS600 *should* be arriving this weekend so that will be a nice upgrade. I've started with nutes today, introduced CalMag, Biobizz Grow and Canna Rhizotonic whilst following all feeding advice I can find online. Got my PH Pen calibrated properly today, after mixing my first batch of feed the PH was 8.7! I'm glad I took the time to review those readings as I'm sure this would've been very bad for the plants. Brought the PH down to 6.5 on the nose and gave both plants a good watering, won't give them anymore for a few days and see how they respond over the next few hours. Fingers crossed! Any advice on watering, feeding and nutrients would be greatly appreciated 🙂 Saturday 2nd December The post man must've hated me today! Lots of stuff delivered for the tent and I've installed it all, up and running! Gone for a 4 inch inlibe fan with carbon filter exhausting out the top of the tent, completely invisible from the outside, almost silent and feels like good airflow. My Mars Hydro TS600 also arrived, so hooray for no more purple photos! The light intensity is a huge increase over the amazon special in the tent prior to this, but it's done well so far so I'll stash it away as an emergency backup unit. The TS600 seems to be a perfect fit in the 80x80 tent, it's exceptionally light and wickedly bright. Here's to hoping the plants benefit from a few conscious upgrades 😊 No watering today as media still damp, plants looking healthy and pushing out more leaves every time I check them. Hopefully we are doing well so far! Sunday 3rd December Plants are continuing to grow well, I do think the new light has made a good difference to them! Have made a point of swapping the pots left to right and rotating the plants to make sure they get even light coverage. Using the extractor and carbon filter now as the plants have started to give off an aroma. Going well and nothing seems to be struggling, I'll keep doing what I'm doing and follow my feed schedules. See you tomorrow! Monday 4th December Plants looking great again. After doing research decided to go up to my 11L pots in plenty of time to prevent as much stress as possible. Surrounded the old fabric pots with coir, surgically removed the old 7L pot with a razor blade and lifted it out ever so carefully. Went super smoothly, the roots are nowhere near the outer edges of the 7L pots anyway so they just slid out with minimal disturbance to the plants or the substrate around them. I hope this was successful as I took extra care and followed some good guidance. Lightly watered to encourage the roots to their new home, fingers crossed they hardly noticed what happened and have minimal stress as a result, but I'm expecting growth to slow as a result and I'll take it nice and steady from here. Tuesday 5th December Checked the plants at 7am before work and they looked very sorry for themselves. Droopy and exhausted looking, I spent the whole day at work convinced I'd come home to two dead plants from transplant shock. Instead I've come home to two ladies that have stretched their legs and grown even more! Super relieved, let's see how they go this next few days with more space to root in to 😁 Wednesday 7th December Plants are doing great! Spreading out and growing really well, the soil was bone dry when I checked them at 7pm so I mixed a fresh batch of nutrients up and gave them a steady watering. Lots of new leaf development, I'm really happy so far 🙂 Thursday 8th December Came home from work to lots more growth, as a first time grower it's absolutely amazing just how fast these things grow! They don't seem to be struggling at all and I'm being really careful watering them. I have also introduced a cheap 2L humidifier for the tent, running it on low to see how it affects the overall humidity as it keeps dipping low. It's winter here so really dry with central heating. I guess we keep going as we have been and see what week 3 brings us!

Pics and video were taken a few days ago been busy as shit lately so the update is a little late. I'm gunna put the video up first on all of them then go back and upload the pics so if come back if the pics arent up yet.

The seeds are really starting to swell up nice. These ladies are bearing alot of seed from the natural style of pollination i used. Decided to use a small paint brush and some of my collected pollen. Dusted the un seeded flowers and got these ladies seeded to the max. In a couple days I will give them a good water shower to wash away some of the excess pollen spillage. I'm going to let these beans get nice and mature. Viability won't be a question lol. After I collect/harvest my seeds I'm pondering what to do with the plant material. They are throwing off a solid amount of resin to protect their offspring. There will be plenty of it to work with. Decisions ...Decisions . Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Flushing startet

I was unable to use the full power of the Optic 2 LED due to height and heat issues. This was impacting the amount of light each plant was receiving thus stunting their growth (you’ll see the before and after pictures above). I have now brought/installed the HLG 260w Rspec and have noticed a improvement. The new light covers the canopy well and I am now able to give the plants more light which will hopefully help them develop better buds. The Dos-Si-Dos have responded well and is really starting to pack on some weight and she is starting to form some nice buds I will continue to use my PK to help her along, next time I will start the PK at the first sign of flower as I feel from week 4 is a little late. Past 2 weeks shes developed dense boulder shaped nugs that run all through out the plant. Today was first day of flush so 5 days ish I'll be harvesting this beauty. Perfect timing for the greenhouse seed company competition that I've surprisingly been giving the opportunity. Happy growing.

🌱 Semana 5 de cultivo: ¡Se notan los cambios! 🌱 Esta semana fue clave: cambiamos las plantas de carpa a una más adecuada para su tamaño, ya que ¡han crecido muchísimo! Se nota que están en plena etapa de desarrollo, no solo por su tamaño, sino también por su apetito: están pidiendo más agua que antes. Como desde el inicio hemos estado aportando fertilizantes, en estos últimos riegos decidí usar solo agua con pH controlado y una EC muy baja. Esto me permite equilibrar el sustrato y evitar una sobre-fertilización, que en esta etapa podría ser contraproducente. Todo va viento en popa, y las plantas están respondiendo muy bien. Seguimos atentos y con muchas ganas de ver cómo evolucionan en esta etapa. ¡Nos vemos la próxima semana con más avances! 🌿💧✨
