She’s finally there! She’s been flushing for just over 2 weeks now. Been checking the trichomes and for me she is at perfect ripeness! 🤩 Now just need to get her cut and dried, will probably take me a while as I’m on the upper end of the humidity scale atm, even with a dehumidifier! Super happy with how my first photo has gone and can’t wait to start another run!

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I defoliated leaves blocking the inside/lower canopy to give more light to lower growth points keeping the top 2 leaves on cola tops. The girls are deff still stretching :) So far so good. I'm glad I flipped to flower early this run and could see even dropping the veg time by another week. Its tough working in a small grow space but I'm determined to master it lol. I lowered the lights intensity from 85% to 75% to give my tops 600-800 PPFD. Usually I just blast the plants with 100% until the stretch is over but I'm realizing that I'm way over doing it based on my quantum sensors data. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The girls are still stretching and putting out new preflowers. My tallest cola is 9" from the light(the other lower colas are between 10"-12" away from grow light). On day 3 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 8.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 10" away from light. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. My tallest cola is 7.5" from my grow light and the average/lower cola distance from grow light is 10-11". I defoliated large leafs that are blocking lower bud sites and or touching each other causing wet spots on the leaves. I want as much airflow as possible as I can not control my night time humidity which can be as high as 80%-90%. My last run I noticed some sugar leaves touching my grow box walls and this caused them to start rotting. I want to avoid that this time around so I'm being careful not to have any wet spots from leaves laying on each other as well as keeping all colas far enough from my walls. In the future I would like to have the ability for de humidification but being in a small grow box in a garage makes it difficult to control my lung room. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.1 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 7" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" away from light. I defoliated and removed lower bud sites not receiving enough light. On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. My tallest cola is 6.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10". My tallest cola is getting 1000 PPFD while my lowers are 600-800 PPFD. On day 7 I changed out the reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. The tallest cola is 6" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10"

The plant is now in its 3rd week of flowering, they look very healthy and the first pistils can be seen. The smell starts to become slightly sweet. The first signs that the fertilizer is working can also be seen, spores are forming on the soil. I'm very excited to see what these magnificent specimens will bring 💚💚💚

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Song of the week : Lupe Fiasco - Bitch Bad ------- Day 37 - Today is the transplant day 😁 so I transplant the topped one to a 9.5L pot with a light mix from the local garden store , the soik npk is 4-4-4 so as she will eat it quick I add an extra feeding with one tea spoon of Mr.B's Green trees Grow ( npk 2-8-6 ) mixed with the soil and decided to name that plant Mr.B's as she's gonna be feed by this brand 😁✌️ I also give her 1L of water. The roots system is quite developed. ------- Day 38 - I did exactly the same thing as yesterday but with the 2 others Blue Dream, also the same feeding but one will be feed with Greenhouse Hybrids Powder and the other one with MegaCrop from Green leaf nutrients 😁👍

It's been a pretty good week. Carl 2 stretched out like a motherfucker, nearly a four inch stretch as of today. The accidental topping due to blunt trauma a while ago seems to have stopped the stunted growth and allowed it to really shoot upwards and outwards. The split on UKBS 2 is still necrotic, and the effects seem to be travelling down the stem. I have a fan on it for airflow and I'm hitting it twice daily with a vinegar solution to try and kill off what seems to be white mold in the stem. As of recently the spread has slowed down somewhat, so I'm feeling hopeful. Next feeding it'll get hit with another round of nature's candy and velokelp to try and build some strength back up and come out a real winner in 3 months or so. The tent has been flipped to 12/12, but the outdoor plants wont be flowering for another 3 months-ish minimum, so this diary's gonna get a little interesting in terms of week type. Carl 1 is incredibly stretchy inside the tent, almost 6 maybe 8 inches from when I flipped and Scrogged. Gave Carl 1 a fat haircut a couple days ago, she reacted quite well. Updates will come throughout the week. Happy growing and thanks for checking out the grow. By 5/11/2021 - I've acquired some peroxide to try and assist UKBS 2 with the mold/pathogen issue. The previous night's application seemed to work, and I applied again today. Hopefully she'll pull through. One of the main stems is drooping massively, I may lose it but hopefully not.

#1 pheno has the same problems as last time. Super purpling stems. I think this one needs a little higher ph. Considering i use r/o water that comes out to 6 and i dont ph. Im thinking that might be the issue for this girl. #2 is starting to ganster lean on some branches. Getting heavier even though they are popcorn buds all the way around the plants. Smells are beautiful. But the Wedding Cake x BBC takes over the room. Its a wonderful mix of smells.
