After lots of perturbations, including visit from electricity company and moving 80cm-1m plants to another location in plastic bags 😅 we finally can start this run. Plants look super happy so far. They are all my best clones. This time I will try another cut of violet face and it will be probably the last time I grow her. I have coco jambo from. Anesia in another tent. Day 1: Auto flowers are getting some nice crystal. Purple Kush smells nice, Pink Kush smells like wet veg. The root mass on Purple Kush is huge! The photos were defoliated, and finally both showing flowers. pH is 6 Day 3:. Finally got to LST Red Purps, she really needed it. I pulled some of the Purple Maroc branches and tried defoliating, but it's thick in there. The previous LST still has a lot of branches bent, but a lot of new growth has popped up. I wonder if it's because I broke the main collar last week. I have to find more weights to tie down the last few branches. Day 7: Purple Kush wreaks of grape bubble gum. Pink Kush wreaks of gas.

What up fam. This girl has absolutely exploded into a beast. It's probably the one of the biggest Autos I've ever grow and definitely drink more then any I've grown. She's drinking a gallon a day and not showing any signs of slowing down. The flowers are definitely forming and looking phenomenal. Happy Growing

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. I’m starting to see both the dosi & bride cakes nodes reaching taller everyday, more & more pistils are forming! No signs of deficiencies or pests. I will be keeping these ladies on the Jacks/ Autopot feed but the seedlings shown in the update video are going to be receiving the Athena program via hand watering which I’m very excited about!

Big week here. The girl got moved into the tent and also into the Autopot system. I'm excited to see how the Autopot performs! There appeared some burns, I had been busy with xmas, so I didn't had that much time to attend her. I believe she will get back on track now. The biggest challenge is to keep the PH stable in the water tank.
