This was the girls last week of Veg. ❤️ I did a big defoliation, the lit in my 4x4 custom SCROG netting and started tucking and bending the tops down to fill the spaces. They were looking pretty scraggly for a day or two after the defoliation, but within a few days the screen was filling out. I have a daily routine of lights on, tuck and bend, no weaving and then just before lights out I’ll do the same. Temps were good, watering has been vigorous. They are very thirsty! Feeding about 1 1/2 gallons every feed now, the 4 gallon pots are a bit undersized but I wanted to see what could Come of These slightly taller pots, rather than the wider regular sized pots. Haven’t had to add humidity this week, pretty consistent around 60%. At the end of the week I changed the light cycle to a 12/12 for flowering ❤️👊🇨🇦

Week 1 bloom Everything stretched a lot this week. I’m not sure why. My lights are powerful I’m feeding by the green planet chart. So lots of nutes. Hopefully they slow down or I’m going to run out of room. At the end of this week I did another lollipop and small defoliation. The canopy was super dense. Finally arriving at the end! 🎉🎉 This has been a Great first growing experience. Everything's going smoothly so far. Doing a defoliation tomorrow and getting rid of any lanky branches. This should be my best crop yet with photoperiods. It should be noted that there is a difference between defoliation and lollipopping. I didn't realize there was one until last month.

Пока продолжаю использовать Big Bud в сочетании с базой, Rhino Skin, Bud Candy и B-52. Растения получили по 2,5 литра питательного раствора. По дренажу PPM снизился примерно до 1400, что говорит о заметном уменьшении накопления солей после предыдущих поливов чистой водой.

. FIRST DAYS ------------- A week after the first slight lollipopping, I repeat the operation. The biggest one is now 49 cm; the girls are still growing well. I raised the lamps slightly but moved them to 35 cm from the canopy, so they are not experiencing any light stress. They are also drinking more: with 1 liter, the soil is now dry in a day. Their buds are swelling every day, two of them more than the others. And a slight smell is starting to escape from the tent when I open it 😉 MIDWEEK ----------- Midweek, growth remains steady. The tallest one has reached 54 cm. No operations today : no lollipopping or defoliation. The buds are swelling, the trichomes are spreading; what more could you ask for? 😊 The injured plant shows a slight discoloration on the top shoots ; it’s the only one affected. I suspect an iron deficiency, probably due to a accumulation of salts in the substrate (I’ve been feeding it the same regimen as the others, even though it’s less vigorous). I’ll need to adjust its doses and probably give it a light flush with demineralized water. I’ll give it three days of observation before doing so.

Strawberry Amnesia is growing well. She is showing some big fat indica leaves. I did top her, and removed the first node branches which was the 3 way mutation early on. She is doing great. Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

9/8 D65 Seems our "good" weather is ending and if the forecast is correct for the next three days, only three of the last ten were sunny. That aint good folks not sure what can be done about it outside of artificial light and that would go on the ATF if any were available. Ah well learning is fun She looks good just needs some blasted sun Zombie is thriving, go figure Full feed yesterday 9/10 Sunless days continue, maybe two hours sun today then the rain moved in and the temp dropped... global warming my arse The forecasts were correct now I can only hope that continues as it is forecast for much better the next 2 days and then right back to this mess. 9/11 Yep today was a big improvement glad to have it 9/13 Day 70 New vids, top dressing seems to have triggered a new run of bud building on both Gloria and zombie Quasimodo (cant kill some of these Mex Air plants). The moster crop growth pattern is interesting as hell just letting it grow. Gloria looks to be building a basketball bud on top :) Weather degrading harvest in a couple weeks max trics say same

Choco Cookies: This one has been a little too sensitive with nutrients, it only has a few small buds, the other plants overshadow it. Banana Cake: TBH I thought this was going to be the one with the biggest buds, they look frosty tho. 15 Jan Some fan leaves are starting to look pretty damaged by a previous nutrient lock.

She stayed small, in the veg stage its a bit a challenge to get the branches going its important u give all heads light by bending the big leaves under them, dont defoliate the big leaves as long the branches havent reached out over the pot, once she flowers she gave a quick stretch and all head started bulcking in no time.
