Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Last week I was very concerned that she went into too soon. But she has performed astonishingly This past week! She grew tall and started branching out. She is getting real hungry but will stick to her compost tea for now

The buds are fattening up now. Still no amber trichomes. Weather is hot here. Tent seeing 30+c at it's peak. I'm wondering if the heat is stressing her.

Growing big and bushy thanks to some early LST. So far so good, lots of pre flowers all over. Hopefully I will be seeing some buds here soon!

Hello folks Welcome for the first week of flowering 😺 ( 38 days veg ) This Pineapple Kush is growing really fast with a lottt of secondary branch ! she responded very well to fimming. Still no nutrients, just rhizotonic and cannazym with 4.5 liters of water every 5/6 days i like CANNA super soil a lot, no need to put fertilizers before bloom, ( good for 6 weeks atleast) and the roots like it 😍 Regarding defoliation, I take off some leaves every day, i dont like removing too many leaves at once I will change the MH for the HPS next week and make a little prayer so that the days are not too hot this summer 😅 I also have 2 another diaries with Rqs/Ripper strains if you want to see Peace Love & Weed GD Fam😍👊

So things are going good. I had an issue with my shower and was worried where the pipes would take them but it’s all good now. The leak was from below me it was just they had to turn off the stopcock to my shower. So it’s nice to have a shower again! Iv not done anything this week really other than poke my head in. Oh shit yeh I actually hoisted the fc-e3000 up and put it roughly where it would be in a 180cm tall tent but then I also added my TSL-3000, daisy chained them and dimmed to 60%. Ideally I would have the fc-e3000 the other way round so that I could put the bars either side of the TSL-3000. I was looking at the 2000’s editions of High Times me man it takes ,e back - all the ads are either full grow boxes that are ‘stealth’ or detox solutions for drug tests! Haha bad times….not much better here now tbf. I did find it interesting that it took the police a while to get used to it when the states (well, it was only cali at this point) legalised for medical use. The police here are in that phase here in the UK! Edit: annoyingly I snapped the very top of one of the cola’s off by accident, which is annoying as there weren’t many to begin with. Hopefully it’ll just mean the very tip of the bud just goes down a little to the next node. We’ll see I guess! Tbh, I’m more concerned about getting some sort of bud rot from the tropicanna being too dense. I wouldn’t ever veg plants for this long, with this many plants, in a tent this size again. Probably max of 3. Oh well, we’ll see what happens, I’ll probably cut off some more side nodes to create some air space Edit: to be honest, I’ll most likely take out the long light because it’s just blocking loads of the light from the FCE3000. I think I’ll slide the fce3000 down to the end with all the tall plants as the canopy is all the size height and then add the 150w ts-1000 for the low down diesel plant. Lights are on until 11:30 so I’ll try and do it today…

Hello fellow growmies 👌🏻 week 7 of vegetive stage - most of the in house genetics & Zake by ripper seeds, have been repotted into 20litre pots. Few are starting to get over the lack of grow as I’ve upped the grow last few feeds to 2ml Biobizz grow. I’m just feeding at 1ml now and it should be enough since the Biobizz allmix is heavily pre fertilised so it should balance them out. I’ve taken clones of most of the in-house and few others hopefully they root. If not al be flipping these girls into flowering within the next week 🤙🏻 Thanks for having a look and happy growing 💪🏻🍁

Easy grow cycle, 5 weeks of vegetation and 7 to 8 weeks of flowering and they are good to harvest. For drying I only removed the bigger fan leaves. Now they are hanging upside down in the tent to dry for about 8 to 10 days before trimming and getting a proper dry weight.
