Rolling into Week 8, and whew—it’s been an absolute scorcher! We hit some extreme summer weather this week, with temperatures peaking between 35–38°C. The heat stress was definitely real, and this lady was incredibly thirsty, drinking a massive 3 to 4 liters of water every single day just to keep up! Because of the intense heat, she ended up letting go of 2 or 3 of her older bottom leaves, letting them dry up and drop off. It's not surprising at all under these brutal conditions, and I’m just hoping she keeps handling the heatwave as well as she has so far. Despite the blistering sun, she is doing amazingly well and looks incredibly cool. She is currently standing at 45cm, beautifully showcasing that deep contrast of dark leaves and bright white flowers. On top of that, she’s already throwing off a really nice aroma, which is fantastic for such an early stage of flowering! Just moving branches around now with the tie wires to get an even spread under the light , heat mats are staying on to combat ambient temps of 5C , flushed them and will feed them another week or two of veg nutes .

They all look very healthy, i always water the full amount fertilizer like in the plan from hesi in combination with rain water (ec 0).I always water the ground of my tent, so the plant can get enough but dont get overwatered every plant takes what it needs. I wasnt sure if I should have defoliated the plants but now its too late , hopefully every topbud gets big and we dont get any mold issues.

We have passed three weeks of flowering. I'm very happy with the results so far and considering we have 5 to 6 weeks to go, these buds have the potential to get huge. Started watering more, 4 liters every two days instead of every 3 days. Also after a full 3 weeks of flowering, we started the flowering amendments, 2 cups of worm castings, 1 cup of bonemeal and a cup of Micro life each. Just put that on top of the soil, watered with the Perma tea, to which I added some woodash, just two tablespoons and stirred. To 12 liters of this I added 60 ml of BAC Organic Flower, 20 mils of BAC Calmag and 12 mils of Top Max. They seemed to love it, they payed me back with enormous bud growth in the last week. Because we had a full three weeks of flowering, I started some underside leafpicking and pruning the smallest branches with no chance of growing out. I kept it to a minimum and will gradually do more. The smells of orange and related citrus is amazing. It is a mixture of orange peels, lime, kumquat, grapefruit and those lovely little oranges they put in Earl Grey tea. Massive PH swings are now levelling out. Using Organic Alaskan Bloom to lower the PH instead of the huge amount of PH Down it usually take. Needs less (about 5-10 ml) to lower the PH back to 5.7 from 6.4. BHB2 is more Sativa in appearance but is going to finish about 1-2 weeks ahead of BHB1 which is more indica like. (Appearances can be deceiving!). Have already flushed BHB2 for 24 hours with fresh RO water, replaced half with fresh then added GHE Bloom, Micro, CalMag, then the organics (Hygrozyme, Tarantula, Microbe Tea *Formula below.) Will do a final three day RO water flush when all the trichomes are cloudy (My fave harvest. More 'up') and about 10% amber. Am not worrying about PPM or EC at the moment. The microbes and organics are kind of messing with it. Had a potassium deficiency in BHB1. Treated with more GHE Bloom. Seems ok now. Back again, growth is nice and quick even still after topping her. I wasn't going to train her initially but my green fingers couldn't stay away. I've started by topping her and some LST tying down a few branches and defoliating a few leaves. She bounced back well the last time. Im due to defoliate her again, so might do that today. Just to let some light through abit more. So far so good. Shes drinking as she should. EC and pH pretty stable, taking the nutrients she needs and some occasions just water being uptaken. Its been about 7 days since last water change, ideally id change it but plant not showing any reason to as thjngs are pretty optimal right now. Back with an update soon. Day 36 - Defoliation. Day 41 - bounced back, not a problem. E.c. not being pushed and at around 1.1.. pH 5.8 fluxing to 6.2. Nice clean healthy big roots.

Grow Report — Nectar Drip GrowDiaries Week 10 (Actual Week ~6–7 from Seed) First things first, a small clarification for anyone following the diary closely. On GrowDiaries this report appears as Week 10, but in reality the plants are around week 6–7 from seed. The reason is simple: the first entry in the diary was created during germination and no photos were uploaded at that moment, so the timeline shifted a little on the platform. So for accuracy: plants are currently around week 6–7 from seed and well into early flower. Now let’s talk about what has been happening. ⸻ Quick Recap For anyone just arriving to the diary, here’s the short version of the journey so far. The goal of this run has always been simple: grow healthy plants, observe them carefully, and share the process honestly. The environment has been kept stable and relatively simple: • 12/12 from seed • balanced feeding schedule • steady environmental control • minimal intervention unless the plants ask for it Up until now we mostly focused on guiding growth and observation, allowing the plants to express themselves naturally while keeping the canopy organized. And they are doing exactly that. ⸻ This Week — The Garden Is Exploding This week the girls are looking absolutely incredible. Structure is strong. Color is perfect. Leaf health is excellent. And the most exciting part: trichomes are already everywhere. Even at this stage the plants are starting to sparkle. Resin production is clearly ramping up and the flowers are stacking beautifully. Height is now roughly around one meter to a little over one meter, creating a very healthy canopy without stretching out of control. Honestly, these are beautiful specimens and a joy to watch develop. ⸻ Defoliation — Why We Did It Now This week we performed a targeted defoliation. This was not done because the plants were struggling or because something was wrong. We did it by choice and by timing. The reasoning is simple: It is often easier and less stressful to remove certain leaves earlier in flower rather than waiting until the canopy becomes dense and airflow becomes restricted. So we removed only what was necessary to: • improve light penetration • increase air movement inside the canopy • reduce future humidity pockets • allow the flowers to develop in a more open environment Nothing aggressive. Nothing excessive. Just removing leaves that were clearly blocking key flower sites. This kind of intervention is always a balance. Different growers prefer different approaches, but in this case it felt like the right moment to open the canopy a bit. Now we observe how the plants respond. ⸻ First Structural Training This week also marks the first time we applied some stronger structural training to these girls. Until now the plants were mostly guided and allowed to develop naturally. At this stage we introduced a bit more direction to the structure so the canopy develops evenly and future flower sites receive better light exposure. Again, nothing extreme. The idea is simply to help the plant organize itself for the next weeks of flowering. The real feedback from this will come in the next report, where we will see how they react. ⸻ Environmental Conditions The room is currently running around: Temperature: ~28°C Relative Humidity: ~68% Outside conditions at the moment are: ~10°C with about 87% humidity Considering the outside environment, we are actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. But one thing worth mentioning: We don’t chase room VPD numbers too aggressively. What really matters is leaf VPD and plant response. Plants tell the truth much better than charts do. Right now the plants look extremely happy: • strong leaves • no stress signals • steady growth • excellent resin development So the environment is clearly working for them. ⸻ Nutrients Feeding remains exactly the same for now. No changes this week. The current nutrient schedule continues to support healthy growth and there is no reason to modify something that is clearly working. Sometimes the best move in the garden is simply: don’t change what isn’t broken. ⸻ Introducing a New Team Member This week we also officially welcomed a new member to the team: Mr. Baggy. 420 Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 11 This week has been super interesting non the less. We had a couple monsoons roll through and absolutely dump a ton of water. Over all they did handle it well no broken branches but between the humidity and heat I can't wait for cooler temperatures. Still watering straight well water about 2 liters daily. They're moving through flower fast as the flower sites are growing super fast swelling nicely and starting to have a real sweet smell. All in all Happy Growing.

Bit more eventful of a week this one. Just going about my normal business when I was checking them over making sure all sex organs were female. Noticed that something seemed amiss. I took me a bit to figure out why one of my girls hermie’d, but a bit of thinking back brought something to the forefront. I had not had the 3rd and 4th pieces of shelving, and since I had the shelving upside down, I had to balance them on the edge with a piece of wood. I had rearranged my plants after watering, and did not make sure each one was steady, when I went to open my tent on probably day 27 or 28, i saw one of my babies had fallen off the shelf and was crushed up against the wall of the tent at a 45 degree angle! I was like NOOOO sunflower not you!!! So at least I know why the darn thing did what it did. I removed it from the others as soon as I noticed. Wanting to see the root structure I chopped it at the base of its stalk. The whole pot had very healthy roots so that was good to see. Was still having trouble with the plants seeming to reject the cal-mag and other nutes I was giving it. Only had pool ph strips. Yakno, the ones that only have a range down to 6.2….. More on that next week.

So you can see my struggles with the coco curve. I’m use to soil so I wasn’t feeding as much as I was supposed to in the beginning. You see the obvious deficiencies. I get them dialed in though so stay tuned! Keep it green

I will be growing her again, as I feel like I let her down, by letting her PH drift so low.. Other than that, she grew beautifully, and fumes of potency as you gaze at her! She yielded more than I expected! She's not that far below my previously lowest yielding plant! :)

Harvest wet weight was 65.5 grams as a whole plant. Have her drying at 70 degrees and around 50% rh with a fan to circulate air. Will update with more info and pics when I start the cure. Update: dry weight is 12 grams. Buds were not as dense as I would’ve liked but very potent and sticky. Smoke is smooth and taste is more pronounced. After cure I’m sure it will be even better. I’m not upset at the final weight as it was 1 of 3 plants in a tiny 12x24x24 inch tent with weak lighting.

Quick update focused on the two Future #1 plants. Both Future #1 plants appear to be relatively light-sensitive. Future #1 #2 does not tolerate ~600 PPFD well and has been showing clear tacoing leaves since reaching that intensity. Future #1 #1 does not show the same response, so this looks more like a plant/phenotype-specific sensitivity rather than a general setup issue. ✂️ Training / Defoliation Flower Week 3: lollipopping Flower Week 4: another heavy schwazzing defoliation 💧 Parameters Input: EC 1.5 | pH 6.2 (approx. 33% of the feeding schedule) Drain: EC 1.5 | pH 6.5 Overall stability is good. Next step is to keep monitoring stretch and flower build-up, and especially how Future #1 continues to respond to the current light intensity over the coming days.
