Bud sites are blooming accordingly and trichome development seems to be coming along nicely as well. This was a wild ride. Gave way to many nutrients and I realised this way too late, when lock-ups already started to happen. The buds still look very potent, I just think they had way more in em size/potency wise if the nutrients would've been on point. Not growing auto flowers indoor anymore, but I'll deffo be growing this one outdoors this year! The smell is out of this world, #1 smells like tropical fruit juice, #2 more of a candy-sweetness but definitely tropical. Can't wait for ya'll to grow this one!

Finishing out week 5 of flower and continuing my daily treatment for PM. Using Athena Mildew Control, an organic reactive treatment spray that you can use on the entire plant up to harvest. Realizing PM is systemic and is like herpes...it never goes away! All you can do is spot treat on a daily basis, the outward symptom of PM, which is the white patches/spots. Treating primarily Mimosa, but also parts of the Bling as well. Napali Pink - As usual, is impervious to this type of PM and is thriving, with huge fat buds that still continue to get fatter and tighter by the day. They haven't even fully swollen up yet either. If the smoke is great, which I am sure it will be, this is a strain that I highly recommend growing. It has excellent branching structure with upward growth with very little help. Takes nutrients well and not too fussy or needy with any of variations of NPK or micros. I would say based on the looks of the buds and trichs, she will be a last to finish, but well worth the wait, as I have so. Many. Fat. Ass. Buds!! Mimosa - such an amazing daytime strain that I would loove to always keep on hand, as this strain is on of my All Time Favorites! However, with such prized buds and terp profile, she is vulnerable to PM. She has had it the worst, and always continue to spot treat it daily. She is gaining this cool hue of purple along the outer edges of the leaves, as well as what I thought was PM, but surprisingly turned out to be a shit ton of trichs! Buds are fattening up nicely and think she will be the 2nd to finish out of the bunch. If I could grow her again, I will, but will be sure and do a preventative treatment for PM during her entire life cycle. The Bling - she has been a trip growing, as she is very viney and lanky, but her branches firm up nice and strong. Practiced some Kushman Chiropractic on some of the stems with success. Had to spot spray, but not as bad as Mimosa's PM. Since I defoliated all leaves covering bud sites, along with huge fans, the buds have actually grown in height and girth! This one never ceases to amaze as she has come back from a bad HST. She is so heavy with trichs, it looks like it snowed on the buds. I am hoping to get a good yield but between the three ladies, she will come in last for that. Used bamboo stakes to secure all branches/bud heads; used zip tie and paracord to secure to bamboo. Now every single bud gets light! Also testing out a Diminishing Light Schedule and now down to 11 hrs of daylight this week. Will continue to reduce by 1/2 hr each week until I hit 9 hrs of daylight. I will hold at that. Otherwise, patiently waiting for harvest!

Went camping so I couldn't start the week right away. June 16th was the start of week 3...going GREAT so far. I'm definitely leaning towards topping and mainline for these ladies! EDIT: I goofed up, lol. They were born on June 6th. So yesterday, June 20th was the start of week 3. EDIT: the ladies went in their final pot today, june 22nd to a 6.25 gallon pot. They look dinky now, lol. That'll change pretty quick 😎

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Nothing much happening of note this week except that they have suddenly begun frosting up faster than I expected. Had to do a couple more defoliations just to take care of the humidity. Shot this video today at the 10 week mark. Maybe another 4 or 5 to go.
