Smell has begun to develop into a sweet fruity smell and trichome production has begun. Day 16 of 12/12. Noticed new fan leaves darkening and slight browning spots on older fan leaves so have treated with calcium. Plant has lightened in colour since last feed.

She looks awesome thanks to the amazing organic living soil I prepared using Florians living organics which contains different strains of bacteria and beneficial fungus, also worm castings,seaweed and it's ver rich, it's awesome to build a living soil, plus a little bit of guano and seaweed that I added. And some beneficial bacteria bactrex by biotabs. Just using water to feed my plants.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Update 20 Jan 2021 - Well starting the cure a bit earlier than I’d like cause I’m having issues getting the humidity up so she dried up quick. Working on rehydrating her a bit and have her in mason jars now. Ended of with 88 grams of rock solid buds. Still want it to rehydrate and cure a bit before trying her out. What can I say, a very simple and easy grow. Had absolutely no issues during the grow and ended up with 380 grams of SOLID wet bud. Even some of the lower buds that didn’t get much light are pretty rock solid. Going by the smell and solidness of the buds, I got a feeling this is gonna be a too 2 strain, if not number 1. Looking forward to growing this one again and as soon as I harvest another plant, I’ll probably start another one of these.

One more week to go! This has defiantly been a fun grow for sure and I think if I run a single plant like this again I will have a 10-15g pot. I also will fill my scrog net and give it a week of two and flip to grow a taller canopy. This week the trichomes are really starting to turn. Bud is VERY dense and packed full of crystals. Smell is crazy strong. I’m picking up citrus and fruit loops without a doubt so I wonder how it’s going to smell after dry/cure. Buds are pretty nice sized as you can see from the comparison of the lighter. The thing is I’ll have over 150 of them tops I believe… haha Nothing has changed this week. I have started to remove any old fan leaf that has been spent. My plan is to slowly remove as many as I can that are pretty much spent by the time I harvest so I do not have to spend much time on that when I cut her down. I have started only water feeding with about 3 gallons of water each feed to leach out any build up. Will do this daily. Hopefully next weeks update will be a lot of harvest shots.

The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.
