Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch.
I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space.
Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.

last time amending, going to run the runts for another week as they are growing nicely. Winter finally showed up and had to turn on the heat mat. Root ball @25c now and growth has exploded.

Too much going on for a detailed update, but here are the highlights:
Did a res change on 12th. Was thorough in removing all of the old water, and flushed out the roots of both grow sites until the water ran clear. Filled with RO and did nutes until ~900 PPM.
Creme de la Chem just kept stretching, got into the light. I re-worked the tent today, and now they have like 4 inches of space... definitely sub-optimal. I've been trying various techniques on different stalks to see if anything works ... super cropping, topped off some smaller bud sites, and folding over as much as I think they can take. She just won't stop stretching! Finally seeing decent pistils on her, though, so maybe she's almost done. Going to be a lot of toasted and light bleached buds on these two beasts :(.
SOH hasn't been getting much taller at all, just adding more and more pistils. I'm waiting for her to start fattening up, and excited to see what she produces.
As you can see from underwater temps, I've been doing battle with the water temp fighting to keep it under 72F. I'm rotating ice packs, and it's annoying AF. When this grow is over, I will be adding insulation to the outside of my buckets. I've learned so much already ... my next grow will be much much smoother. For now, it's just a matter of trying to cope with my early mistakes 😂.

So folks, here are the final results:

As you know, I did a partial wet trimming before drying to make it in time for the contest deadline. I haven’t had the time yet to give them a perfect final trim, but I’ll try to pick out the best ones and share a few pics here soon.
Other than that, it’s been a journey with its ups and downs, but in the end everything turned out great and met my expectations, they are frosty and sticky☺️

Fractal week
Week 20 8/11-17
For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off.
Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed.
These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. They had basically 4 months of veg and the colas are already large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds.
Fractal had her spa day and had heavy defoliation of her voluminous fan leaves. It took me from 9:30 to 3:30 to trim her. Oh, and there are so many feeder and sugar leaves remaining, She will be a b!tch to trim at harvest. . weeks ago I indicated that I used peony cages ass a scrog, however, a scrog would have kept the colas beneath the grid.

You're tuning in to week 2 of veg, mid week to be specific.
She's growing strong. Middle of the pack among the 3 in the tent. Otherwise not much to report. Will probably start watering with small dose of nutes from next week onwards.
My spiderfarmer sf1000 arrived this week so have swapped out the old cob led. It's a neat piece of kit. Gives me much better coverage, it's more efficient, and kinder on the eyes, both for me in person and in the photos.

Hello everyone.
This week the plant took of. She's stretched quite a bit during the last days showing her sativa dominance, buds are building up nicely.
Day 28 I topdressed with humus and compost mixed with 7-10 grams of organic mineral npk 5-10-15 to give her some extra feeding to start flowering.
She's going thirsty every two days now so I alternated water and feeding with humus tea and molasses. Watering volume about 5-6 liters.
Only training this week has been removing two or three fan leaves which were occluding the lower buds. I've been very conservative with this plant because she's not too bushy and has some internodal distance, the air circulation between

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and gave this girl her last feeding of nutes before harvest. The next 2 weeks will just be water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer.
Day 65 - Time is winding down for this girl but still thinking 2ish weeks. She’s still got quite a bit of clear trichs so just gonna keep a close eye on her.
Day 66 - Nothing new today, just watching the trichs and waiting for them to tell me it’s time to chop.
Day 67 - Looks great and almost finished. Only saw a handful of clear trichs and the rest were cloudy but still waiting for a good chunk to amber up so when I see that, she’ll get the chop.
Day 68 - She’s getting closer to chop day for sure. Seeing a bit more amber in there and waiting till she’s about 40%. Gave her some water today and next watering, I’ll add some sledgehammer to the water to start pushing the nutes out.
Day 69 - A lot more amber trichs showing today but still not quite where I’d like it. I did lower the light to about 12” yesterday and today it blew up with frost. It was already frosty but today she looked like frosting and the pics don’t do her justice. Might be getting the chop this weekend.
Day 70 - It’s the end of week 10 and she’s getting closer to chopping. More and more amber popping up but still not to my liking. Maybe chopping late this weekend or early next week.

All going well upto now my estimate is another 3 weeks or so till harvest so i will see the diferrence in them this time next week an decide wether its time to start my 2 week flush or not, love how well these tropicana bannana and mimosa evo have grew from the start and it is a strain i will run again sometime given i enjoy the smoke, buds have formed really well and can tell they will all be nice and dense, see you next week for my latest update when we will be 1 week closer to the finish line 😁✌️👊
