Day 29: Pre-flowering did start. Changing now to Hesi Nutrients. Watered them with 1,25 l. Since they are not dried completely out. Wanted to boost them into flower now! Letting them dry out now to the half of total weight. Day 44. Some girls have a bit too much N, leaves show very light curl and some girls are still in veg/preflower mode, so for two waterings it will be phed water with light CalMag added. But anyway, all took that heavy training easy and are blooming. Now i understand in what an absurd grow i created myself, but ... a journey is a journey and i like it ! ;))) Day 45. All good in the Neibourhood ;))) Day 47. Girls got a winner pedestal ;))) had to lift some, had to leave some on the ground, had to supercrop one skyscraper , she was going to the sealings ;)) Still light N overdose curl, but only on one most running to sun strain, so it will be a challenge to feed those 5 pots with other 10 girls in them ... Oh well, hope SOMEBODY will learn ;))

This week was crazy with the weather for couple of days....2 girls didn't see much of light or water like one took it lil better than one.....the other one was left on the battlefield n she sure put up a fight

Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

This strain was everything the breeders promised. All the buds were purple and some fan leaves turned pink. She isn’t really dripping in resin but I still needed gloves during trim.

Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!

•Morning of day 19, ¾ through week 3. Did a light defol on both ladies. I gotta say I'm a big fan of Big Bud by Seedstockers! This girl is going to be exactly what her name is. I know its early with roughly 40 days to go, but I will for sure be growing this girl again. Any suggestions drop me a line. Less stretching and more compacting of nodes. Very pleased! She's feeding at full strength and looking like she might want more. Very vigorous growth. °Agent Orange. 30" in diameter after LST. plant did NOT respond well to LST. AND IS 36½" tall (soil to top). Also showed signs of nutrient burn. It’s so warm today! Of course I pulled all my plants out to spray with spinosad and feed/water. ********* I use a Hudson 2L sprayer. My partner used to work in the film industry and they found this brand of sprayer gets the most thorough even coverage for makeup or whatever movie magic they use sprayers to create. It’s great. ********* The larger gorilla glue has come around but I lost a few nodes. I’m seeing a little PMD, but I’ve been knocking it back when baking soda and water. I’ve been taking scalps, defoliating the big one gently and the little ones need almost daily lollipopping. I’m watching my ph and using more cal mag. I definitely feel like they are two different phenotypes.I have them on individual diets. ********** Some fungal gnats come with the humidity so I topdressed with gnat nix. I don’t believe I overwater so I hope that’s the solution! I think I may wait another week or two and get things more stable before moving to flower. First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
