Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. She's smelling suuper sweet, her fragrance is very enjoyable even for those who aren't fans of cannabis, this strain is definitely very sweet, can't wait to smoke her flowers and see if she produces any percentage of thc. Yep, I have been so lazy keeping my diary up to date, life gets in the way sometimes🙄 Im on week 19 or there abouts. So a few things, As of about a week ago, I thought I was close to harvest, I had advice to start harvest when around 60% of the pistils had turned color and curled along with the trichomes becomming cloudy. I cant really get a good look at the trichomes no matter what I try but a couple did appear amber which I was told you can probably get away with a few amber spots, but it is a good indication that its probably a good time to harvest? With that, I thought it be a good time to start flushing, so I started using just clean water to start the process at about week 18. Started getting from what it looked like last time, cal deficiency, so I added cal mag, slowly cleared but now it looks burnt either from nutrients or light🤦‍♂️🏽 4 days ago I noticed a sudden growth spurt with new growths throughout the buds, as you can tell in the pics. So I went back to adding just bud candy in the water..Stupid idea? And now today I have noticed fuzzy white mold and yellow gold spots in the soil. I dont know if it is harmful or a good indication? Should I just harvest it or let it grow further? Some advice would be much appreciated at this point. Other than that, it has been a super long and slow grow and I am so keen for it to be harvested already as you know, it is my first grow after all. Peace✌️😊

Lots of growth this week! 😃 So far, the indoor girls are looking fuller to me. They seem shorter with tighter nodes and more nodes than the outdoor girls. Also one of the outdoor girls seems to be a little bit of a runt. I'm hoping she catches up eventually, but I'm noticing the runty looking girl is also not symmetrical for some reason. I think this is a good comparison. I'm glad I'm growing 2 outdoors and 2 indoors so we can see a more fair comparison. If I only had one of each it might be a genetic thing causing the differences. Btw... the indoor plants are under 315w CMH on a 19/5 light cycle, 24" from the canopy. The outdoors are obviously dependent on the sunlight which is between 15-16 hours here now. I don't care that the outdoor girls have stretched more than the indoor - they don't have a ceiling to deal with, nor will they grow too close to the light (unless I'm really lucky 😉 ). I am very happy that so far I do not see any damage due to bugs on any of the plants. I'm still feeding at 75% of the Fox Farm schedule. That seems to be the right level to me. I'm almost out of Big Bloom, just ordered another gallon. What do you guys think? Please comment! Thanks!!!

This has been a busy week for the plant. She had her 2nd nodes removed, she was topped at the 4th, and lst set. She didn't even slow down through it all.

This week repot to 3L and change spectrum

I defoliated the Plant for the first time and adjusted the LST to the growth of the plant. I found the first white pistils shooting out from the plant which shows me she is ready to go into flower. Until now i am very happy with the progress, still no issues :)

So, after seeing the N deficiency and feeding it some protein, I noticed after all this time there were no new roots forming in the sencond zone in the hydroton, so I thought maybe I forgot to drill holes to let the roots through. Turns out when I was moving things around, only the very bottom of the basket was in the water, so the hydroton was mostly dry and the roots were drying up before getting to the water. So this week I made a new carrier for the pot to sit further down in the water and this should remedy future N deficiency as the roots will be getting the nutes from the aquaponic system. Plant still looks great, started LST this week to help fill the width of the screen. Will be moving into the tent after my widow gets harvested.

She has entered her "flush" stage of low dose nutrients (as suggested by emerald harvest) and should wrap up in the next week to 10 days. Her smell is intoxicating and she is EXTREMELY sticky to the touch

This week has been great progress on the plants, as u can see, giving your plants the oxygen it needs and they will flourish I wish I've gotten a better pump from the beginning, but o well learning curve lol, it has been getting warmer now that spring is arriving, the inside of my tent is at 80° so the only issue I see in the future is water temp. rising but ama try to keep her as cool as possible. (Not running a chiller) I did started to see some pistols coming out so, she starting to flower. Ama switch her nutrients to bloom A&B next week as with some Nirvana see how that goes. Am still checking the pH twice a week (Once in the morning, and again late afternoon.)

Started to harvest buds from the strawberry banana so that it could move to an area with lower lights due to the main breaking a few weeks ago. The other plant Tropicana Cookies Purple is stacking flower like crazy. Dare I say near forearm size bud at harvest keeping my fingers crossed.
