📆 Week 5, 19-25 May 2024 19-25 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 The plant is very compact with big, wide leaves, typical with Afghan varieties. The spacing between nodes is a good 1”. What I do is tuck the big leaf under the developing branches rather than cut them off early in this stage, to help the plant produce maximum energy. I also snip very low sucker shoots that do not have a chance to keep up with the plant, which is only a few. This keeps all the growth focused on the top of the plant for now. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

Day 50 overdue feeding and watering. 5g SimPro Bloom half gallon of 6.5PH spring water each. I'll never choose this fertigation method again. So much easier to amend the medium then top dress every 30 days. The plants seem normal for 50 days from seed, but not normal for a plant that is supposed to be harvest ready 60 days from seed. A few people here on GDs ran this strain way passed 60 days and maybe this is why. It's possible some phenotypes just take longer. No smell and no trichomes at this point. I would guess they need another 25 to 30 days to nug up. Day 52 they are both praying but still cannibalizing themselves. 5g isn't enough. Considering a top dressing. Day 54 - pulling 5 yellow leaves per day. This is not nutrient deficiency, these plants are fading. SMH I am behind pissed! Wasted 2 months of tent space and nutrients. I didn't do everything right, but the lesson for me is to stay away from fast strains. This is actually motivation to switch to photos. More forgiving of the small mistakes. In this case I overwatered in early veg. I should have tossed them both then. My preamendment ratios were off and I switched to water feeding during preflower. All of this has resulted in a plant that looks to be done in a week with marble sized fluffy buds that have zero trichomes and no smell. PISSED OFF!!!!! I'm learning through my failure but it still sucks! Day 55 Watered both with rain water, CalMag, and SimPro Bloom. I know CalMag isn't recommended in flower but I don't care about this bull crap plant anymore. I'm popping new beans and am gonna run these two as far as possible to see if I can get a decent top cola at least. Still pretty pissed. Day 56 Pics show how they respond to watering. Sheryl is praying, Candace leaves are up, but not praying like Sheryl. The only smell on either is from a stem rub. No visible trichomes. Not when I even zoom in. So odd! Day 58 Finally have some odor! These plants are growing like a regular auto-flower. I've been freaking out because the breeder says it's a fast strain (60 days). The lesson here is to always listen to the plant. Scrap the website crap and pay attention to pistils, leaves, and trichomes. They look and smell good for day 58. The yellow leaves are likely due to me adopting an abbreviated / hybrid feed schedule to suit 60 day seed to harvest. The day 55 feeding was 6g of SimPro Bloom in 51oz of water and that seemed to hit the spot. I need a good loupe so I can have a strong finish. Day 61 Fed Candace 1tbl of Terp Tea with Azos & Mykos, plus Fish Sh!t. Half gallon of Spring water. Bottom fed Sheryl Azos, mykos, & half tbls of SimPro Veg in 16oz of Spring water.

What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. 7/27 Transplant tomorrow 7/28 Transplant to 5 gal pot, as usual gave kangaroots 10ml/g and fish shit 2ml/g in addition to nuets 7/29 The indicas are really showing their size early Lights on hours reduced due to heat to 16 Nuets increased to next stage 7/31 Being forced to use Cal-Mag per the feeding schedule released by GH was hoping it would not be needed but yes can see the beginnings of def. Thats one strike on the new nuet line. Adding 1.5 ml/gal cal-mag on routine basis and not happy about it 8/2 From results we are seeing have decided to go back to the cocotek, this is ok but getting problems we just did not have with the other line.

The vegetative cycle ends, I started the 12/12 cycle. I gave them a foliar irrigation with a flora stimulant and I also stayed with a clone of Amnesia Haze. Work is coming during the flowering.

This girl it is a very resilient client has only received mistreating him from me I have them all tied up like a bouquet of flowers came in then no space to breathe and no place to move because it has such an incredible stretch and growth that it was taking over the light of the entire tent despite being a back up plant that I put in the same planter with another string that I thought I was going to lose her this one is very strong and I have not allow her to develop properly so it is very Bushy plant I am not sure if it’s me or is the strain of plant nevertheless it has a very vigourous growth thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

Their first Neem oil leaf drench massage. Their first fertigation or watering. For the Og kush the third week Biobizz nutrient dose was followed. The only addition to the third week All Mix dosology was the inclusion of Alg a mic. At the above rate + Great white + bactrex. The above list of nutrients correspond to the OG KUSH Allmix schedule and doses. Fot the amnesia haze the watering had only Bactrex, White sark and Pro symbiotic at the doses listed above. No pH was adjusted nor measured and no EC either. *03/29 UPDATE* Since no option given for "breaking down" each strain individually ragarding the Nutrients section I ll update the irrigation/fertigation/nutrient regimen for each week in this section. Each time something changes on the Nutrients section it ll always be the last used doses of nutrients only for the OG Kush strain. For the Amnesia only CalMag treated water will be given in alternate irrigations along with a twice a week bacteria introduction to the system. So, today both plants got 1.8 lts of RODI CalMag treated water to .340EC with a controlled pH of 6.3. The Amnesia had a significantly higher runoff which I didn't anticipate nor understand but I'll find out why for sure. Some light LST directional guiding was given to the plants for forming purposes and future canopy levelling. In the Grow Hut since day one the plants are continuously enjoying the company of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia s music. They love it! *03/30 UPDATE* The best possible outcome regarding live phytoprotection by beneficial insects for pest control. As of yesterday I have two unidentified tiny sliders, possibly common garden ones and as of today a Coccinellidae sp. larvae running around the canopy (check the video) Hope for many more of them sweet protectors. Neem oil along with DE has successfully helped in deterring some Gnat "congregation". *03/31 UPDATE* Plants are growing strong and vigorous. Some LST done and their new canopy hairdo can be seen in the pics.

They all are looking happy and enjoy their lifes :)

Ok on flower day 65 i did a prechop of sticky smelly Buds. This is the Rest for Ripening. 04.10. Its boring to wait. Just added some water. Aphid shit on my buds (i wash), Or using insectoxids. Now you know why i can not use Insecticide. Another part chop. On day 71

To think I thought she was stunted! Doing really well this week, temps are skyrocketing where I’m at and will remain high this week. We had a lot of rain earlier this week, which seems to have helped her, but also brought some fungus gnats around. I’ve been using yellow traps + am going to let this heat finish drying out the top layer of soil.

10/11/2024 been struggling with keeping the soil from over drying and becoming hydro phobic. she's been root bound for so long, there's barely any soil for her to keep water in. i had to dig into the sides of the pot and break of roots and find the dry spots to keep her wet. 10/15 shes showing pistils.

Well this is not going good. Very low humidity. High temperature.

Last week for her. She has pushed another e cm of buds on her tops since I added the xs2000. Look forward to doing a full grow cycle with this led panel as soon as we finish these up.
