Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Thank you for taking the time to read. 10-16 😍😍😍 Plants are starting to show deficiencies!!! Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

Another week down! 😎 First week of veg and full feeding following the Aptus schedule. 💪 Readjusted the lights since some plants were showing signs of light stress... may have been a bit too aggressive with the power transition. 😅 Will start the LST soon with bending clips and the net afterwards. 😉

Hello Diary, We are approaching harvest time, and so is the Apollo F1, which is maturing quite quickly. The flowers continue to fill in nicely, are very sticky to the touch and are now slowly showing signs that the peak of flowering is approaching. The leaves are still a healthy green color, it's not like they're starting to change autumn colors, which is not so common for me, but I'm glad about it. Still watering every three days. As of this week, I have stopped adding supplements, I only water with clean water that I lowered the pH value. The conditions on the farm are still good (unchanged), the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is around 45%. Here's what it looked like last week. 18/06/2023 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared the usual 7 liters of water, lowered the p.H. at 6.0 I watered all three plants evenly with the hundredth amount. 21/06/2023 - Day 53. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/06/2023 - Day 56. Photography for the end of the 8th week and after that I watered the plants. That's all for this week, see you soon.

Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

This Mexican Airlines Plant is developing nicely after the initial stretch , I gave her 1/3rd of a cup of Mr B's Green Trees Bloom Mix plus a qtr tspoon of Great White. It is fairly easy to apply you simply sprinkle the Bloom mix and Great white across the soil around the base of the plant and water it in well. Thankyou for checking out my diary once again Happy New Year From grey Wolf
