Welcome to the 2018/19 indoor grow season!!! I am starting this diary for all current seedlings and clones I have started. I'll also be doing separate diaries for some strains individually (but not all). So, currently I'm about a week in on average with these seedlings and clones. The Seedsman CBD Cream & Cheese and DinaMed CBD+ were started a few days earlier and started stretching using only the 18w T5 my humidity dome came with. So I set up one of my LED's over the humidity dome instead. So far that seems to be helping the newer seeds from stretching too high. I'm also seeing some burn on some girls, I guess the soil must be too hot. I started to try to flush through with straight ph'ed water, but then I started seeing signs of overwatering (rookie mistake, I know). Now I'm just trying to keep a little water on the bottom tray so it generates some humidity in the dome. There's also a heat mat under the tray I have the heat mat on a timer also, 30 min on/30 min off cycling all day. It seemed to get too hot on 24/7. I'll be transplanting and moving to my 2'x4' tent in about a week. They will live there during veg, then I'll be moving to a 4'x8' tent (not purchased yet) for flower. I'm also planning on adding some COB LED's in the flower tent. Then I'll dedicate my 2x4 tent to mothers, clones and seedlings. Its going to be a little different this season with both photo period and autoflowering strains going at the same time. But I'm looking forward to it! 👍 Stay tuned...

Added some CO2 to help with photosynthesis while at higher temps. These ladies really blew up at the end of last week and this week! The smell has really starting to be noticeable and pistols / flowers are finally showing! Side note I finally got more seeds to replace the one I lost early on. These ladies are really starting to become a treasure. Ended my LST this week.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Hello,,, fin de semaine 10, semaine 2 de floraison. Les plantes se portent très bien. Elles ont fait un beau stretch depuis le passage en 12/12. Presque 40cm!! Un début de buds commence à se former. Les pistils blanc apparaissent doucement. Je vais attendre la fin du stretch pour refaire une défoliation, Parceque la canopé est vraiment très très dense. Ce qui améliorera la pénétration lumineuse et qui aura aussi pour effet de faire baisser l’humidité, que j’ai du mal à faire chuter en dessous des 55% pour le moment. J’ai aussi augmenté mon ec à 1.7 pour bien les nourrir, ce qui pour le moment semble leur convenir. Pour l’arrosage, je suis toujours à un arrosage par jour. Voilà pour cette semaine... Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la novena semana de floración de estas Gorilla Melón feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Las flores están bien prietas y sacan unos aromas afrutados y dulces increible, está acabando de madurar pero no veas como se han puesto. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

H1, burns on the tips of the smaller offshoot were up to something-observe! Spraying Trihomazer by RUSTEA (2ml/l) in the middle of the week.

Girls got topped this week. I decided to only top once due to the herming last time. But they are growing well after the transplant last week. I'm happy with the growth and we'll look to flip in about three weeks. That'll put trim time around Christmas which I have off.

Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

4.14.25 2nd week of veg! Started tie down method on 4.7.25 going good. Nice healthy growth! Going to start wrapping plant around perimeter of pot.

Dear Grow community, The three RG automatic have grown very well and have so far no complaints. They love the temperature and dont need much water. They have grown very fast and already have a light smell.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Eccoci qui... Per problemi di lavoro ho tardato un pò la pubblicazione delle foto, la piccola è molto vigora ed emana un forte odore.. Già si può vedere la resina che si inizia a formare sulle cime in alto... Sono estremamente soddisfatto della sua crescita finora e sono sicuro che mi riserva sorprese, odore veramente intenso. So this plant has been flowering for about 10-14 days. This Gaia green is super easy and as long as I dont get fungus gnats and the buds turn out well, it will be my new way of providing nutrients. I’m here to make my life easier. I love the fact that I get water, ph to a general range and pour in. I am starting a FastBuds Afghan Kush with Gaia green that will not have such a lax approach. Otherwise, this girl is just on cruise control. Water, Gaia green top dress when need and harvest when done. 👍🏻🌱👍🏻 Happy Growing 🌱
