Hey Russahl, thanks for your comments about my root rot. Sadly, it was DEFINITELY root rot. Roots went really smelly and dark brown 24hrs after my question. I ended up having to cut off everything hanging out the net pot... I made a water bath and massaged the roots and they basically fell apart in my hands (wasn't being rough - just gently untangling). Fully bleached/disinfected the res, air stones, grow tent (etc) thoroughly... put the plant in pH'd water with h202 for 24hrs. Put her back in nutrients and have currently got the water level touching the bottom of the net pot until the roots start to properly grow back. Think I've salvaged her though... took off the large leaves to limit photosynthesis, reduced light intensity and temperature and am giving a chance for the roots to re-establish before cranking everything back up.
Found the source of the issue too... I was using a pressure sprayer for foliar feeding and realised when I pulled it apart that there was a bunch of mould growing in the pump! Just goes to show... only takes one weak link in the chain and all sorts of havoc happens.
Have been foliar feeding with a new sprayer while she's not pulling much from the res; set humidity to 70% too. So far, so good... she's started giving off a beautiful skunky aroma - think terpene production happens when fighting infections as much as when flowering. Just got me excited for what the end result might turn out like! Am going to give it a couple weeks then put her into flower. A small harvest is better than none at all!
Thanks again 👍
