these 2 seeds from the same pack are definitely different: the topped girl is massive, with multiple heads that are only starting to stop growing (i hope she will finally concentrate on her buds!), while the LST girl has a nice structure with 6 buds that are growing day by day. one classic, the other with great potential... i love this session. 😊 miscalculation on my part at the beginning of the week: I doubled all the nutrients, confusing the volume of my cans... 😓 coco is not forgiving, the burns appeared the next day; but fortunately, it is corrected just as quickly: I emptied the bowls and diluted the water in the tank, I performed a haircut on the two girls (one burned, the other a little wilted), and here they are in great shape at the end of the week. The resin appeared on the LST girl this week. another thing: the bleach has already proved its worth; not a single worm in my water, no more smell of algae in the tank, despite a rather sporadic maintenance... 😏

🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. Week 6 everything was on par with week 5 of flower however, girl #1 has officially pulled away from girl number #2. Girl #1 is 27 Inches tall while girl#2 is 16 inches tall. Toward the end of week 5 girl #1 started flowering and her bud sites are becoming more defined as she progress. I maybe be wrong but it seems like girl #2 maybe is slower and gonna flower in the next 2 weeks hopefully. She definitely is indica dominant with her short bushy stature. But, I thought the indica dominate pheno had fast flowering when compared to the sativa pheno. I did do some more defoliation of the fan leaves on each girl and any leafs blocking the light to increase the budsites potential. also I removed the more undeveloped lowers. Doesn’t looked to have stressed them out with all my defoliation. These ladies smell has increased very much. Everything is still on par with week 5. I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to have all you experienced growers view my diary. Thank you very much and it means the world to me seeing I have any views.

Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. This plant has been growing at a steady constant rate since they sprouted..I have topped them a week ago and they both appear to recovering well. I still feed basic GHE nutrients with the addition of Orca and Terpinator alll at 1/2 per gallon unless the plants ask for more and trust me you’ll know :) anyway they’re gonna be flipped next week was just letting them build up as much as possible.

Day 8: Woke up and checked on the ladies, they were bone dry. Hit em with 70 ml of AN Coco Grow diluted in my mix. Day 9: Got the new lights in today and hooked up. Girls are looking pretty good I think. Still letting em dry out a little. Gonna add a shot of Great White on next water. No nutes will be in this shot. Day 10: Still looking good. Had to stack some loose Coco around a couple as they had a good stretch going and were leaning pretty good. Also noticed a couple of brown spots on the leaves. I am led to believe after asking questions and researching, it is more than likely nute burn? No more nutes for these girls for a while. I also got a humidifier to raise humidity as it was pretty low. Day 11: These girls almost double in size every day! They would probably be a little bigger if I hadn't of tried to give em a drink of nutes earlier on! Lesson learned!! Not bad for 6 days out of the ground regardless though, I think. Got a humidifier in the tent and it stays around 50% now. Other than last night it got up to 73%. I need to get that fixed. Day 12: Nothing new to update other than they look healthy. Think I am gonna let them dry out a touch more before watering. Day 13: Gave the girls 1 cup of ph 6.0 water this morning. Thermostat battery went out and lucky my girl caught it in time. Temp got to 86° for a couple of hours. Opened the tent for an hour to get the temp back down. Humidity has been hovering around 50% for the most part. Minor fluctuations here and there. Girls are looking good for 8 days out of the earth though!! 💪 Day 14: Looking like they need another drink, dry down to around 1" deep. Gave em 2.25 cups with super diluted Coco Grow and a touch of Great White. 😳 They are doing great! 👍 Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store! Going to build a support to add my 2 CREE lights back in along with the Mars lights.

Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. This one as you guys can see from the video , this is a full covered in trichomes BIG MAMA and touching her is like touching super glue or something lol i was trying to put all the colas in one picture , but is simply just not possible , they all look great so i selected 4 of them for a true back back ground <3 Thank you Super Sativa Seed Club for this opportunity, i fell like a champion no matter what with this 2 Mamas, much respect on the work you guys did on this Elephant As always thank you all for stoping by for your love and for it all, i fell humble and honored

With more and larger buds growing, more and more trichmes are produced so the scent is much more noticeable. Each pant is releasing its very own distinct scent. Lovely really!
