Wk 4 flower is almost done. I’ve made a slight change to the feed schedule this week. I’d been giving around two litres twice per week but it was looking slightly over watered afterwards , so now adjusted to 1.5 L 3 times a week. The plant has reacted well and will hopefully cope with a higher dosage of feed over the next 3 weeks.

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Bomb week!! All pictures/ video was takken on day 9 and i gotta say its looking wild. I Didnt expect them both to start growing so crazy. Lst really seemed to help some of these just explode with tops. I feel like compared to my first indoor run these are like a week ahead, as far flowering goes. Wich is also interesting because Double Ds can go for 9-10 weeks! Cant wait to see how these babies do there thang One problem actually i found a little bit of aphids nothing crazy but im going to continue using the growsafe insecticide/fungicide/pesticides.

Through week 5 of flower and all is generally good. The whole tent stinks like hell of berries, pine and earthy Kush. They’re all presenting something a little different in terms of growth but still very similar terp profiles and bud structure. Seed maturation is showing on some of the lower nodes as well. We’re getting much closer here. Hopefully not more than a couple weeks but we’ll see. #1 will go off first for sure. She’s showing a progressing N deficiency that likely isn’t fixable but it does remain possible she’s simply ending her cycle. If so, it’ll be a trait worth noting on the F2 run. Until next week, ✌️! Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. They are growing well. I hope most of them are female, if not I will kill them and put feminized highcloudz with them. One is already there and in another diary. Small spots on two leaves of a fertilized plant, but nothing major or scary. The fertilized plants are much larger than those in living soil without additional fertilization. I might start applying some fertilization to the organic ones. At least when it starts flowering, it looks like it will need it, for now the difference is absurd. On the 19th, two seem to have shown their sex, male, beginning to have balls. Waiting a few days to confirm Day 21 One organical showed the pistils, confirmed female. The other two, iam waiting to really know their sex. Next week going to start flowering fertilizer. 1/5 female confirmed

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. After this week end, we will cut the first Tropicanna XL plant:D Middle this week we changed the reservoir water for a fresh solution. This plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 540 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. She started very healthy and grew very quickly, we topped her once at the 3nd node (after 5 nodes), tied the main branches to the side allowing the bottom growth to catch up... we then toped each new top 1 time (after 2 nodes on the new growth), our goal is to creates 12 main top branches...we stripped the bottom 1/2 of the plant bare for now :)
