~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. I anticipate that it will be harvest time any day now, weather permitting. 10/11- After doing a final check of the trichomes on the Papaya Sherbet this afternoon and checking out our weather forecast, I decided that I will be taking her down early tomorrow morning before the sun comes up. 10/12- Today is CHOP DAY for the Papaya Sherbet Fem Photo! After checking over the flowers yesterday I decided that today is the day as I wanted to avoid any further chances of Boytris ruining more flowers. I got up early, before sunrise and took her down branch by branch which were then hung in my 'drying room' to begin the drying/curing process! Light hitting with around 850 PPFD The stinkyness of this lady is insane! one of the loudest plants ever grown. She takes her time but I am fine with that. Overwatered 1 time this week but she took it like a champ.

So this week I added nutrients for the flowering stage. I gave her a little trim as well as added her netting. I flipped her on last Sunday PP

42/56 they iced the hell out snd the colors started showing a few days ago. Theh about to bulk up can't wait to see how they finish

SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on her. She's getting close now! Prolly about 70% cloudy and 5% amber! TUESDAY: I observed some white spots on a few leaves here and there, so I sprayed her today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think she'll be fine. I'll spray her again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because she is already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I watered her today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was her last dose of any nutes...flushing with spring water from here on out. THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

So maybe another 2 weeks? She is super sticky, very beautiful and almost there. I’m getting a little concerned as humidity is super high right now. ✌️🏻💚

Finally back to the garden after 4 weeks away. They were really in need of love by the time I got back to take care of the garden. BIG NEWS! Now running a California Lightworks Solarxtreme 500 as my main light. Will add a second SX500 light into the room once I start flower. Wow, looking great, buds have taken shape and can start with filling up a bit. This Mars Hydro light is amazing, the buds are quite big for week 4. Cant wait to see next weeks development. The boosters name is Pro Bloom, most have new names in europe, same company, different names

She is starting to smell sweet with funky fruits, still she is not happy with the lights also going forward with it's deficiency (calmag or nuts lock?) This week I have her a bit of carbon, microbes and mycorrhizae tighter with my combo of organic and synthetic nutes.

Today I don't give a lot of nutrients, but I focus on the use of acid and alkali. And this is the day I clear the big leaves again. Hope your enjoy.🙏💚🥦

They are being fed twice a week, with 5 glasses of 6oz each. Additionally, calcium and boron have been sprayed on the leaves. The overall smell is slightly stronger than last week. EC 1.1 PH between 5.8 - 6.2
