The sour stomper appears to like her new lighting. She gets a little fatter everyday and I have now begun a flushing cycle. Going to let this girl grow as long she wants. I want to see those hairs recede.

Was an amazing experience overall. The girls all did great. No complaints. Training went well. Topped twice and lollipopped the lower growth. All the buds, even the lower growth, are large. So frosty too. Amazing overall and will have to grow again as long as I like the smoke.

17.11. Day 43 Blüte 8 Hallo. Sie ist jetzt die Größte im Zelt. 20.11. HST in diesem Fall habe ich ihre Makkaroni dicken Äste und Stamm zusammen gedrückt bis es Kracht und splittert. 21.11. Invasion der Thirpse Teil 4.. Die Antwort: Arnold Pyrolitenegger. 22.11. noch 51 Tage Blüte...(oh shit) 23.11. Pyrolytenegger. UND was ne Genetik. Der Stamm ist dick wie eine Maispflanze.

###English below### Die Blüten werden dicker! =) ###English### The buds become thicker! Otherwise, not much happens; the first leaves are fading and the plants show phosphorus deficiency (purple stems and a few brown spots) and possibly also potassium deficiency (stretched leaves). At least that's what I suspect. I now look at the trichomes every day. Today I spotted the first brown ones. It's going too fast after all. Today the youngest plant is 7 weeks old, the other two are 2-3 days older. According to the data sheet, Quick One needs 8-10 weeks. Was I too frugal with the fertilizer? Do I need to pay more attention to the pH value in future and possibly also bring the EC value into play? All in all, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm now looking forward to the final phase (how much longer until harvest? 1-2 weeks?) and I already have lots of ideas in my head for my next grow. I look forward to your comments. =) Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Thanks for checking out my diary please leave a comment & some likes would be great so that myself & the apprentice grow cat can progress from apprentice stage 👍😻🙀

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

We did a lot of defoliating the past 2 weeks , the girls were growing water leaves like we were about to start a small forest 🌳. But above all we got a chance to see the genetics that made the difference on who we decided to keep this run and who didn’t make it. So big big s/o to @42fastbuds for giving us great genetics the community can count on. But as of today we kept Supa Runts (Bluethumb Tim) Ether( BAGSEED🔥) Pop Tartz ( Frostee) Boujie Bud (Bluethumb Tim) DJ Shorts Blueberry (The Clone Conservative) these are our official mothers for this run GORILLA Z & LEMON CHERRY COOKIES (. 42FastBuds) STRAWBERRY PIE (207 Genetics) these are the autos we are running with this run.

Second week I did a mild pruning taking off big fan leaves, so that I can allow more light to the canopy. The girls took well and bounce back, still dancing.

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the Sour Diesel still has about a week to go. I could chop it down now with no complaints I think, the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, but I’d like these foxtail like growths to fill out, if possible, now that they popped out. Think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s why the GG#4 had a few nanners pop late, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense but look a little weird with foxtails and the tips are stretched strangely and can see a bit of the centre stalk on a few lower and further from the light. The foxtail growth is also happening lower down as well which makes me think genetics, I dunno? Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Thanks for the view and long read if you made it to the end! Keep calm and grow on!

Day 15: 3 nodes now visible on both plants. Day 16: Lights lowered. Canopy now at 20000 lux. At 22" from the canopy, my light is hanging lower than recommended by HLG but I am using a lux meter to ensure the amount of light isn't too much for my plants. I'm at home almost all day almost everyday so it's the perfect time for daily lowering of the lights and monitoring carefully. Day 17: Lowered light to increase LUX readings by another 50%. Canopy now at 30000LUX. One more lowering should bring us into optimal amount of light. Noticed a slight amount of curling on leaves last night so upped the ProCal just slightly. I make my mix using pre dosed calmag & potassium silicate water. I adjusted the final EC with this water to ensure calmag levels remain high enough to prevent the coco from "stealing" it in its own cation exchange points. Ended up adding Green Planet GPH Uptake to the lineup today for the PM feeding. Will continue at recommended dosage going forward. Also picked a foliar calmag. Made a foliar spray with recommended dose of GP Ocean Magic as well; adjusted pH to appropriate level. Did one application then ditched the Ocean Magic as you're only to use this as a foliar once weekly. Made calmag foliar spray and am now regularly using this in my mister. This will allow me to adjust with plain water as to keep the EC down and my nutrient mix stronger. Also had a revelation! Root Guard and GPH Uptake have very minimal impact on EC so therefore can be added after dilution as to insure a full dose of each of these are being applied at each feeding. Day 18: Ladies doing so great now in veg phase of growth. Calmag and Ocean Magic foliar application yesterday and continued Calmag applications throughout the day seem to have really given them a boost. Adding GPH Uptake seems to be a great addition to the lineup. It will take a few more days to truly notice the results.Looking like only a few more days until the Lamb's Breath sees its first round of LST. Noticing a bit of leaf curl on both plants. I have been fertigating with a litre of solution twice daily. I am going to reduce to once daily for at least today. Will try for smaller feeding tomorrow morning and see if I can still achieve the required 10-20% runoff with an EC no higher than 300 points more than inflow. Ceasing foliar calmag applications until plant stops showing signs of oxygen deficiencies, especially the Blue Diesel. Added a Wyze cam to the setup which is awesome. I can check the ladies all the time with out opening up and disturbing their environment. (THIS IS THE POINT WHERE LIGHT BURN WAS FIRST VISIBLE BUT I WASN'T AWARE!) Day 19: EC rose dramatically as i skipped evening fertigation (Day 18). This is NOT a recommended course of action. I was trying to adjust for what looks like oxygen deprivation to the root system of the Blue Diesel (IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I think this plant is lagging behind the Lamb's Breath a bit due to being bleached (TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I believe this may be the root problem (hahahaha!) and why it is a bit behind the Lamb's Breath. Droopy leaves are usually indicative of an over saturation of water in your media. I will fertigate 3 times today to correct EC issues. Still keeping EC to just under 1000 microsiemens. Reducing volume of solution given to the Blue Diesel by half. Day 20: Started LST on the Lamb's Breath. Slowly raising EC back up to ~1000 for the Blue Dream. Lowered the light by about an inch and shuffled the plants just a bit to get optimal light saturation. Everything chugging along at this point now. Day 21 & 22: Soooo I lowered my light too much. Started noticing signs of light burn on the LB. Watched some videos, read some articles then found my manufacturer's recommended hanging height. This HLG 100 V2 should be at 24" for veg stage. So thats where it got put back up to. Measured 20000LUX on the meter still which is within optimal range. I'm sure with the light up higher, the penetration to the lower canopy will be better due to the reflective walls of the tent. I removed the first pipe cleaner of LST on the LB to let it grow up toward the light a bit more. The one day of being tied down has had a dramatic effect on the production of branches lower down. I'll (probably) let it ride out for this week to allow unfettered growth before starting to tie down new branches. Days 23-26: Everything rolling. Figured out optimal EC is around 800 for inflow for both plants. Thinking this may be the optimal inflow EC for the Green Planet Line. Decided to pick up an HLG 65 V2 4000K light as well as an HLG 135w RSpec. Both are KILLER lights for sure. The 65 has really helped in veg phase. I would highly recommend it! Optimal light hanging height ended up being around 24" for the 65 which is manufacturers recommended height. Can't wait to see what the 135w fixture can do. Day 27: Switched lights to the HLG 135w RSpec today. Lowered light down to 90 watts so the lights aren't too much of a change from one day to the next. They are about 50% brighter than the HLG 65 V2 4000K when hung up to the maximum height my tent will allow. It looks to be a sweet light and the plants are getting new hues of green showing almost immediately.

GROW 😛 Plants have grown rapidly. GraduallIy I removed the side branches. They look very naked now. But experience has taught me that - especially with SOG - you can almost never overdo it, by removing sidebranches for up to 3 weeks of flowering (depending on the sativa/indica ratio). Usually these branches do not get enough light, so they do not produce many flowers. 😺 On DAY 12 : The smallest plant is 36 cm. The largest plant is 60 cm. 😊 ------------------------------------------ BLOOM 😍 First flowers appear. The plants already smell very nice ! 👍 ------------------------------------------ WATER + NUTRITION 😱 On day 8 I watered the plants by hand, for the last time: 5 liter water with 2 tablets of RQS Easy Bloom Booster. From day 9 I have connected the autopots to the water tank. Hopefully the biotabs tablets provide enough nutrition for the coming weeks. ------------------------------------------ AIR HUMIDITY 😨 To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have to refill the two 7.5 liter humidifiers daily. 👍 As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity for a stimulating VPD. 💪
