Zzz. Hit with Aptus PK double strength! And top dressed! I believe this seed had a crazy weird mutation growth for almost a month and was tiny before it started vegging normally. Maybe same thing happens in flower? *shrug* We will find out, smells minty and really really sticky. Not a fan of the mint smell

Fifth week of flowering. All goes perfect, active christianisation of trychoms as well as changing it colours from white to yellow-brown can be observed. Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. 8.3.25: I watered today. This time, I left out the Nitrogen as the plants don't need it right now. I watered each plant between 2 and 4 litres. I used dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients per 2ltr; ♡ 4ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients 9.3.25: The plants are still very thirsty, so I topped them up with 1-2ltrs per plant. I have cut out the Nitrogen for now as it is unnecessary. I am using Bloom nutrients only. Per 2ltrs contains; ♡ 1g Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1g Bud explosion PK booster Both by Greenleaf nutrients. 10.3.25: I have moved Bubble Kush into the back left corner, as she is a bit unhappy with the full lighting intensity. I moved Do-sì-dos into the middle of the tent as she is looking phenomenal 😍 the buds are most certainly stacking up to be huge! she will certainly be good with the higher intensity lighting. I can't say enough about her, very pleased with this plant! 12.3.25: Bubble Kush is looking much better and greener after I moved her into the corner away from the intense light in the middle of the tent. Getting about 3ltrs per day, just using Mega Crop Part A and Bud Explosion by Greenleaf nutrients. 14.3.25: The plants have switched to full bloom nutes, the only NPK 4-0-0 with the Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. Then Greenleaf nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster. I'm using double strength Cal-Mag as the petioles and stems of some leaves are going purple. I need to get some more. I've used nearly a whole 250ml this grow alone! I have been supplementing with Black Strap Molasses and will be feeding Bubble Kush 🧡 Do-sì-dos 💚 I'll double check the rest of the plants and maybe give them a little bit. The Purple Lemonade 💜 and Pink Mist are just really stacking on weight now, bulking up. Do-sì-dos 💚 has absolutely unbelievable density and size. Watermelon 🍉 is finishing the lower bud sites as they were behind the others. I will keep for 1 more week in my estimation. Gorilla 🦍 Cookies is looking good, definitely cutting the Nitrogen out on her as she's got an overabundance currently. Luckily, all my plants are at the same stage now relatively speaking, so I don't have to mix up separate mixtures for each plant just now. Which is a blessing 🙌 Plant nutrients used per 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients: ♡ 1g Bud explosion PK booster ♡ 8ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. Everything going nicely so far not much stretch after the first week and bud sites popping up everywhere. Day 66 - they were really bushy so decided to give them a lil hair cut, cutting away all the big fan leaves leaving all the bud sites. Day 68 - I fed them until run of today as going on holiday next week and have a pal sorting them out from Monday So far so good :) Will wait till end of the 3rd week and give them a little defoliation to improve air flow and light spread untill then there fed either everyday or every other day depending on when they need it.

Started flushing the end of week 6 and continued up until day 46 of flower. Allowed plant to dried and was harvested on day 48 of flower. I was initially planning on giving her a few more days but due to a recent volcanic eruption in a nearby caribbean island, ash and other foul weather conditions pose a serious threat to crops so I decided to cut her just before ash and other things happened which would affect quality. Very impressed with strain from start to finish. She definitely didn't have enough support for her colas but I got her a little over 1m2 So I'm expecting at least 450-600g of dried buds. * Video was taken on harvest day. I was making space to put all this plant since I also harvested others recently so they were only hing in direct light for a few minutes before being transferred to their drying room. Harvest weight and more pics to follow by 4/20 Overall she will have a fine mixture of buds. Some have at least 20-25% amber, others only milky and some with a tad bit of clear on the trichome. Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀.
