~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl... This week has been excellent for my Black Cherry! Five days ago, it received its first pruning. It was defoliated a bit and the top was pinched. I want to see how the genetics react to stress and how it copes with it. The side shoots have been tied back as best I could. A beautiful bushy growth is slowly forming!

Average grow maintenance effort, slow growth, small canopy but not really any issues. I will update all the weights, taste and all that crap soon.

This girl has been one of my favorites. Pineapple express is true to it name looking like a pineapple once it fades the yellow, and the green are very beautiful together smells gassy with pineapple busting out of every tone

Day 70 ..... lookin good.... she stable in flower now... neuts good, and stable... got her into a beautiful rutinue for the rest of the flower..... really happy with how it's going, she has a long flower 65-70 days i think.... thats 8-10 weeks in flower, so maybe 4-6weeks to go (6-20 dec) ........ she's going to be alot of work but will be well worth it, tasted her alittle, just the trim that had to come off, was enough to taste..... (dried the trim, curin in jar, try to add pic if i remember, lol) was a new experience goin thru the difficulties of transition to flower in dwc iws system ....... listed general nuets that i am using, however the 1-2 lt mix i put in every day or 2 is mixed up at the time, and is specific every time to ensure the tank remains at 5.8-6.4 ph-1-2k ppm.... i've stopped using the ppm meter for accuracy and use it only to get a general reading... in fact the ph meter and ec/ppm meters are not really workin properly any more, lol the blood bone and all the different stuff that i'm using puts alot of the readings as false/wrong ..... i can see where a nido system would be handy, maybe if i had the cash.... i gotta do all this the old fashioned way... elbow grease, hard work... haha this is some crazy news... random unknown mazar in that iws dwc pot... it's female as of the 2 hairs i saw this morning.... haha... so i'm thinkin, i may be able to put the mazar and ssh in main tent with all resources used.... that would put both mazar and ssh in iws dwc perfect pots in perfect conditions with max light and resources..... might do that, it would increase both flowering plants to 280 W leds... .... the reason mentioned this is because i can see she needs more light, the coloured light panels are poor quality cheapo..... gotta get my home made kick azz lights back in there.... lol 👍😎👊

4/23/25 A few of these plants seem to be longer flowering genetics which is kind of annoying because of the feed schedule. ive been feeding them with the plan of 8-9 weeks flowering and we are starting week 8 it is day 50 since 12/12 and some of the plants are producing quite a bit of pistils with not much bud growth at the moment. But plant #3 is producing some nice chunky golf ball sized buds and is on track with my feeding schedule but some of these other plants might go 10 weeks Top dressed with: 2tsp of microbe charge 3tsp of Bloom

I topped her above the second node, week2. She then perfectly topped herself of either node(mutation), which became apparent around day 22! I chose to NOT lollipop anything off, since she started flowering after week3.

Installed my new suplimental lights. 440 en 660 nm. Harvested the other 2. Hang them all up in tent. Aiming for low 60% humdity and around 19 - 20 C. No oscilating fans active, only 2 exhaust fans on low setting.
