What a ride, Made some mistakes and missteps along the way but I learned so much about these plants and the intense care and attention that goes into growing quality herb 😵 Next grow I think I will stake branches instead of the scrog so I can easily reach/rotate or lift plants. I definitely need to focus on growing fewer larger branches off each plant because trimming larfy/airy popcorn nugs from all these little branches that popped up during flower is no fun😡. Probably should take my time more with the next one, I received a Dr Grinspoon seed so that obviously will force me to extended the flower time, might go longer in veg too removing more leaves/branches before flipping. Overall besides the trimming hell I've been in for the last week This was so much fun and I can't wait to go again and improve on my methods, try new ones and learn even more 😁 Thanks for checking out my first Diary, FatalFarmer

Trichomes turn milky i think 2 more weeks

On week 5 of actual flowering the plants are coming along nicely and HSC GSC is looking the best so far but its still early :) WW is slow to start flowering just small amount of pistils so far small buds looks more like week 3 or 4 as far as flowering progression.

Pbb has been chopped! Saw a decent amount of amber trichomes and the calyxes were quite swollen also she has been fading beautifully for quite some time now. Went into the dark for 48hours then I trimmed any dead leaves off and a few larger easy to reach leaves. She’s hanging in a dark tent now with a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent. Ducting to my flower tent to keep it from stagnating. Frost is starting to fade and swelling quite well. Afghani is getting a much more complex smell not as sweet as before still looks like looks like at least 2 weeks for her. They have all just been getting water for a while now.

Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

So the end is here. Its time, only damage from this point on, in this case.. I chopped her. She is hanging... strong pine smell with a little lemon. Not my favorite that's for sure.

👉🏽 Day 71 (5/16): Watered with ph'd RO water for the first time. Minor defoliation. I'll thinking of harvesting her at the same time as her tentmates, which will probably be around Day 75. 👉🏽 Day 75 (5/20): Harvest day! Will be doing a dry trim, so I just removed fan leaves. despite heavy rain again this week plants keep showing its tenacity to grow. Also noticed some leaf claws from nitrogen toxicity, some flushing should fix it

So the week went well. She loves to be naked. I trim her small fan leaves daily to keep it clean and shock low. SUGAR is just everywhere. I'm using 1tsp of tiger bloom in 2 quarts for two waterings then one just water. Ended the week with huge buds forming everywhere. Zoom in

I went back and looked at my runoff and it was quite high. maxing out my TDS meter. I flushed em all with lots of liquid and now they all apear to be finishing up majority of the pistils where browning and whatnot. Will let me got for another week or so I think and no more feed just water. There is still some stuff remaining in the soil I got it down to 0.8ec from 4.0+ This grow has suffered some loss from it all but that's ok it was just for shits and giggles and the buds it producing are still nice looking. I also took the saved pollen out of the fridge from my Dinamed CBD Kush Auto Breeding Project - DCKABP lol, and I pollinated one branch on this plant. I marked it with a little red string to see if it would work or not. This was done last week when I missed its weekly entry. and to my surprise I now have a few swollen calyx on my GDP plant. I have no idea how fertile the pollen was as I mixed a lot of it with dried cornstarch and it seemed to do the trick for saving it. Now that I know this I will try this method again in the future and try and freeze the pollen for longer storage times. Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Plant decided it wanted to switch to flower so I guess week 4 is officially flower for her. there’s a smell beginning to linger as well hard to describe but very delightful.

Flush week

11/05: another week on autopilot. They look like they could use a slight defoliation, but i haven't had a chance to get in there and do it. Will get it taken care of sometime this week. There has been a noticeable growth in flowers this week. No signs of any purple outside of some stems. These look and smell exactly like OG Kush. And that is not what i was expecting at all. I am personally not a fan of OG Kush and so I am really hoping for some significant changes over the next few weeks. If i were growing OG Kush, i would be thrilled with the results. They are growing plump quickly and getting insanely frosty very early - also something that all the OG Kush i have grown does. Alas I am not growing OG Kush, these are what FastBuds told me were Purple Lemonade, and based on all of their marketing material, this is not what I should be seeing or smelling. And im unhappy about that.
