Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

Queen Blue is doing well plenty of bud sites and I still think Ill have space for her daughters around the edges we shall see. She seems on schedule, this is definitely the largest plant ive ever grown, I think shes around 3-4 ft across.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). Starting off week 2 with some issues. I have noticed a lightening of the leaf edges and slight crinkling on the leaves. I have ran into this type of issue in the past and I suspected it to be a root bound issue. This time I am not completely sure. I will up pot by the end of this week and compare. I was busy with the holidays so I put the humidity dome back on before I went and up the size of the growing containers. I think it helped out and you can see that they perked up with the high humidity under the dome. I believe the lighter green edges is a mag deficiency. I will add more cal-mag during next weeks feedings.

Its going great! They are loving life! Huge different from growing autos.. These are some beasts already.. Cant wait for them to develop Peace&Love

Had a bit of a ph issue so I gave em a flush. Hasn’t seemed to affect their progress. Still holding strong! The clones are also doing really well! Kept the 8 strongest and ripped the rest. Freshly topped today (2nd day after transplant to 2 gal pots). Just following the GH nutrient schedule to the letter. Love their nutrient line. Thanks a lot for following and I really appreciate all the tips! Happy growing!

Sorry for the poor quality photos this week. I will update it at some point when I can get some photos in the dark with the flash on. With the tent being so packed and the plants under a net it's very difficult to get any quality pictures. Powering on and fattening up. They've had roughly 30 flowering days and I'm expecting mabey 20 more. Some of the biggest buds have foxtailed but I'm not too upset. They are so huge and I'm only expecting them to get thicker from here on out. Updated photos with an A4 sheet of paper behind them to try and show how wide the buds are on these girls. They are a bit airy at the moment compared to the Pinapple Express next door but with 2-3 weeks left I'm expecting them to bulk out.

Steady progress from last weeks update. Although I may have mixed two of the plants up and the one I think is red dragon could actually be Zombie Kush, but I’m sure that’ll show in the next couple of weeks, there are actually 2 Zombie Kush in there, the mix around came at the time of repotting, if a mix around there was, ah the mystery of it all😜 smelling great in there. The purple strawberry really does have an amazing aroma, and the blue fire og has a super stench, I thought it might be a bit more fruity but I’m not complaining. The gorilla Zkittles is just pouring oil, the leaves and buds are covered, it’s been sticky for a while now the smell not so intense. The Zombie Kush are looking great (1 especially but this as aforementioned may be red dragon🙃) The red Dragon is also looking really good and filling up space along the stems with bud, not so much of a show of trichomes as far as this one goes but theyre there🤤 the critical orange punch is also doing well but isn’t that great to look at, I’m hoping as the buds fatten they’ll tighten up a bit. The smell from this one is gorgeous though and no doubt it will make great smoke. April is looking like a good month for flavours🤤🤤🤤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Have had some nice growth. The brown dotts on lower leafs have gone away(fixed the nutrients) have a stronger led light coming friday so maybe it will help the bloom.

Things are going very well for Obi#2 . She's come a very long way and shes sure showing her ability to endure this nub grower :P :P :) Over all her flowers are swelling up nicely no major signs of stresses or anything like that shes just growing and doing her thing . She smells very pungent I really enjoy the smell . I'm excited to see what the next few weeks are going to be like ! A special thank you goes out to all the people who stop by the diary ! Things are going well this past week GG#1 still suffering a little big from my mess up but over all she seems to be doing ok . The leaves on both GG#1 and GG#2 are both starting to gain some colour now they are starting to get purple around the edges of the leaves so pretty soon Im going to have some extra pretty looking plants !! :D :D :D Things are going to take roughly 1 week longer then I thought originally but thats fine ! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks to come ! I'd like to thank everyone who stops by and checks out the diary .
