In Woche 8 bei den BlueberryMuffins war viel los. Die Sanlight musste täglich neu auf die 40cm Abstand gehängt werden. Hier und da wurden immer mal wieder ein paar Blätter entfernt die Triebspitzen verdecken oder so dicht gewachsen waren das es zu einer schlechten Luftzirkulation gekommen wäre. Die zweite Lage vom Scrog-Netz wurde installiert. So können die gestreckten Triebe wieder etwas ordentlicher untergebracht werden und werden dazu etwas gestützt wenn es in die Blüte geht. An den Stangen vom unteren Scrog-Netz wurden noch zwei PC-Lüfter angebracht um unter dem Blätterdach für etwas Luftzirkulation zu sorgen. Den optimalen VPD zu halten war etwas schwierig bei dem Wetter zur Zeit. Die Temperaturen lagen um die 24°C und die Luftfeuchtigkeit um die 60%. Mit kurzweiligem Lüften des Raumes ging es immer mal wieder in die Richtung der angestrebten 50%. Da werden es die hoffentlich bald kälteren Tage wieder etwas angenehmer machen den VPD in den optimalen Bereich zu bekommen. _____________________________ Düngen : Gegossen wird mit Wasser das min. 24h mit einer Aquariumpumpe in einer 10L Gießkanne in Bewegung gehalten wird. Davon wird soviel genommen wie es die Ladys verlangen und mit dem einen oder anderen Zusatz versetzt. Je nach Stadium der der Ladys. Ab ungefähr Woche 5 wird mit 10% vom Topfvolumen gegossen. Das ganze wird in drei Teilen mit einem Abstand von 20-30min gegossen. Tag50 gab es für die BlueberryMuffins 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PureZym und 1ml/L PowerBuds. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.5 gebracht. Es gab je Lady 1L in den Topf und 200ml in den Untersetzer. An Tag52 gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 1ml/L PureZym, 1.5ml/L PK 5•8 und 2ml/L StickyFingers. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.5 gebracht. Jede Lady bekam 200ml in den Untersetzer und 1L in den Topf. Tag55 gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 2ml/L PK 5•8, 2ml/L StickyFingers und 1g/L BioEnhancer. (6 only red ligh and 7 red-white) D79/F35 - 18/06/23 - New lights schedule is running D80/F36 - 19/06/23 - Added water and integrators EC 1.0 and pH 6.4 D81/F37 - 20/06/23 - Nothing to report D82/F38 - 21/06/23 - Added water and nutes EC 1.0 and pH 5.7 D83/F39 - 22/06/23 - Temp is too high for both water and environment. I see signals of suffering on the flowers (foxtailing) D84/F40 - 23/06/23 - I'm trying to keep the Tremp under control but isn't easy. To lowering water temp (that now is about 26 °C) I'm adding some ice to the water

So im retroactively uploading this after some phone issues the weeks may not be 100% accurate but the content is! did some cloning a while back (round1) and i got a little too comfortable with minimal roots showing and only 8 of the 15 survived. about 2-3 were very small and objectively should not have been attempted one will not survive due to a stoner error in leaf cutting. i've learned in this field patience is key and learning is essential. I made some mistakes, and dont plan on making again

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! 🌿 Grow Update: Day 2, Week 8 of Flower 🌸 Hey fellow growers, We’ve hit Day 2 of Week 8 in the flower stage, and wow, she’s smelling delicious! The buds have definitely grown since the last update, but nothing too dramatic. Still, her appearance, aroma, and stickiness are on point. Not too shabby for my first run! There’s a fair amount of larf below that I’ll be tossing, but the top buds? Holy smokes, they’re looking fantastic. I'm aiming for at least 3 ounces, and if I hit that or more, I'll be over the moon! I'll be starting my 2-week flush very soon to ensure the best quality for the final product. Wish me luck as we head into these final weeks. Got about 215g but i have been smoking for a month. Gorilla Glue = 120g N.L. Blue 1 = 55g N.L. Blue 2 = 40g

First day in flower and they looking good but there some burnt leaves from to much fertiliser is my diagnosis

I did her second tie-down on day 22 actually. Day 24- I’m okay with the fan leaf laying on the surface for *now.* Just because I live in a high, dry desert with a consistent RH at around 20-25%. And also, because the top quarter inch of soil is dry. However I will probably be propping it up with something tomorrow morning. Day 25- finally I decided to fold down the rim of the pot for more light!

Steady growth this week :) Noticed a funky split branch that looks kinda like it topped itself, though that was pretty cool! Been trying to keep the lower part of the plant clean but since I have space I'm not being too brutal with chopping lower bud sites. The HPS gives good penetration and I'm keen to see if I can maximise the yields - not sure this craziness is the best way to achieve that but gosh darnit I'm gonna do my best

December 23, day 9. Growing coming along decently, despite the early transpiration issue and large pot size. Clear bag and humidifier have been working well, as the ambient humidity of around 35 percent is not pleasant for younger plants. Coco is never my favorite for seedlings, but I expect things to take off soon! December 26, day 12, I reduced how much the plant is covered, while still maintaining humidity. I am experimenting with JR Peterson dry nutrients, specifically their 1 part "tap" formula to see if it holds ph better in for Toronto tap water. I am feeding .4 ec of dry Cal mag and .4 ec of the base nutrients for a total of 1 ec, and I will see how the malasana cookies responds! December 28, Day 14, malasana cookies is responding just fine to the change in nutrients. I am applying 2x daily foliar at .8ec Cal-mag. Its difficult to maintain consistent high plant humidity with such low ambient RH, so this can hopefully help with cal-mag. Cal-mag can be particularly difficult to move up the xylem during transpiration under these conditions. While the plant looks a bit yellow in the photos the leaves are a decently healthy green in realty.

I flipped them to flower this week, finally. They are way behind schedule because I didn't have enough space to keep them on their own 12/12 light schedule so they had to stay on 18/6 along with the other plants in the same grow space. They've gotten much bigger than I wanted them to due to that. But I'm hoping if I do the female forced pollen process correctly that'll hopefully mean more seeds to share 😁. I've been spraying the chosen males with colloidal silver for 3 days now. I take them outside to spray them & then let them fully dry before bringing them back in with the girls. Just a safety measure incase I mess up the forced female pollen process I'll still have good & untainted flower to use from the girls.
