Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. This strain was easy to grow, short and very bushy. The smell when drying has an incredibly strong earthy/chocolate aroma which is very pleasant🤤.

Day 72: 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off the same with ventilation. Ferilization is the same except BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 they are being flushed. Water intake also remains the same 200ml per day. Humidity approx 35 percent. Day 74: BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 have to be harvested this week Friday so no more water. Colorado Cookies and Northern Light next week so started flushing them. Glueberry OG needs a bit more time.

8/26 FED TODAY. 2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. THE WATERING CAN I USE IS ABOUT A HALF GALLON SO THAT'S WHAT A NORMAL PLANT HAS BEEN GETTING. Wow. What a week I had last week. I'm hoping things are going up from here. It's overcast but we have a 90% chance of rain. Thunderstorms. I'm wondering if I should put my back tarp up. The wind doesnt seem too bad so I'll play it by ear. The remaining plants seem to be doing good to me. I wanted to let the soil dry out but I NEEDED to feed. Buds are popping up everywhere and increasing in size. Earwigs still seemed to lollipop the interior branches (mostly larfy stuff but still). I attached a picture so people can see what I mean. I'm getting hit on all fronts but I'm still kicking! I'll update as I go. Some pictures won't upload. I'll have to do it later. Oh and my ph is on point for once. I tested all plants a bunch of different places and readings were 6.6 to 7.3 at the highest. 8/27 Rained last night but not as bad as I thought it would. We are supposed to have some good weather coming up so I'm hoping my medium will get a chance to dry put. Still liking the liquid kool bloom. I'll up the dose next feed. I'm going to need to do another application of plant doctor this week too. It's about time for a BT application as well. I see moths flying off when I check early in the morning and I've observed some pillar damage. I'm slightly worried about soul going anaerobic. The color of the gdps are too lime green for my liking but our weather has been horrid. I never remember having to deal with shit like this. The branch that was all drooped with fusarium wilt has one (the closest to the stalk) shoot that has repaired itself. That gives me hope but I really should just amputate that branch. I guess I'm just nervous because of the reaction I had last time. Granted I've cut tons and tons of branches off in the past and prune things they didn't have whatever pathogen these do. Septoria is still there on one of the GDPs but it seems to be doing okay. I'm SLIGHTLY worried about the change in color on my big NYCSA. It's lost some of its vibrancy. I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure it has some PM (which I'm hoping plant doctor and the silica will help repress) but I think it will be a heavy yielding plant. Sun's poking out. The little clones I took are exploding in growth. They might not yield much but I'm glad I didn't just chuck them like I was going too. 8/28 Things are still looking good! We got some sunshine yesterday and the sunshine out today. Buds are really starting to form and colas are taking their shape. I'm slightly concerned with the coloring of my NYCSA but it started flowering later than the others so senescence may be behind. I may have lost half this year but looking at other diaries and attitudes of soms others I'm pretty fucking lucky. I didn't have much time this morning so I'll update later. I need to keep up with my IPM and do BT treatment and follow up with a second dose of plant doctor. 8/29 Super rushed morning. Only had time to shake the dew off the plants and snap a couple quick pictures. I lowered the growbig this week. I think that was a mistake. Plants are flowering like crazy. My NYCSA doesn't seem as vibrant green as it was. I may up feeding to twice a week or at least give them a little growbig if I need to water. I want tge medium to stay dry for a while. I also needcto cut that dead branch. I'm just afraid of a situation line before where the whole plant died. My anxiety disorder really hampers my growing ability. I qorry far too much. I should just cut it off right now. I've also seen pillar damage so I'm going to need to do a BT spray. I have the other organocide that's the 3 in 1 but I can't use it in flower. I'll just have to stagger applications. Either that or do another root drench or "sprench" and a foliar with the BT on another day. I have WPM on the garden and I'm pretty sure septoria. This plant was perfect though. I'm afraid it might be getting sick. Either way it'd an extremely resilient strain. The little 9lb kush I have in a 3 gallon is flowering the fastest. It really fuckihgcsucks I lost those massive plants. Judging by this "clone" I took off the other clone (I know) this strain wouldve been the first to finish. EDIT: Went back over to check the medium and do some slight defoliation. I inspected the stalks and the dead branch. The dead branch has a small indent (from breakage, insects or rot) where the branch connects to the stalk. I've seen this before but had no problems. However THIS branch seems to he coming out of the stalk RIGHT where the rot is. I cut the other one off that ENORMOUS 9lb Kush and it was dead a few hours later. I talked to my father who has degrees in biology and forestry (among other things) and he said he couldn't really see the harm in leaving it. I am worried that a cutworm mightve gotten in bit I don't see any evidence of any borer insect. Under that stem there is more "bark" and other stuff but nothing like a borer makes. I'm going back over tonight to treat with either BT or Plant Doctor. Haven't decided which. Probably the plant doctor. 8/30 Didn't have time for pictures. Large NYCSA NOW has fusarium wilt. Either I'm the most unlucky grower in our area or my plants got dosed with fusarium. After the research I've done I've cone to the conclusion that this season will be a complete loss. Maybe the two small separate cuttings will make it through flower. The rest is just a waiting game to see if fusarium kills it before they finish flowering. Even if it doesn't then I don't know if I would want to smoke the flowers. I'm shopping online for grow equipment. I'm going to do some indoor this winter. Wow this feels like a kick in the nuts. I'm a good dude. Like I said I'm just either the unluckily grower around or my plants had a little help. Who knows. EDIT: I treated everything with Pkant Doctor again. I'll feed tomorrow and see if some miracle happens and I actually get something 8/31 I added a few pictures so folks can see what fusarium looks like and how it progresses. As you can see it killed a branch and is progressing to the next and so on until the plant is typically dead. No need to get too scientific on the mechanism of action. I FED 2 gallons today. Still kept growbig low dosing.

The #2 pheno is getting super frosty, has a very fruity aroma, and is looking like a champ! The #1 and #3 plants are looking sexy as hell with their deep purple coloration and both have a earthy funk aroma to them! Yesterday I raised the HLG 650R to it's maximum height available putting it approx. 26" above the #3's, which is the tallest of the three plants, canopy. In addition, I reduced the power to 80% to keep from bleaching out the top of her main cola. There's eight weeks past now since these girls broke ground and they're coming into the final stretch with only a couple of weeks to go. 2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Pungently smelly with unreal amounts of crystal it’s swelling by the day such dense rock hard buds best strain I’ve ever grown 😜 @fastbuds have absolutely cracked it with this strain it’s more then perfect 10/10 💪💪💪👏 Took a little sample bud today to see what she is like it seems too early but it looks done one of the plants is strange

3.23.2024: Start of week 10. Day 60 from sprout. Moving along nicely. Did some defoliation to open everything up. Main cola is legit. One of the side branches is almost as big as the main cola. Bought a loupe and trichomes are just slight turning milky but only in a few spots. Some purpling but def not to the level of some of the other pheno's i've seen which is kinda a bummer. 3.24.2024: Day 61. Fed 1/4 strength nutes. 96oz of 6.5ph. Got stoned last night and did some more defoliation. 3.25.2024: Day 62. ZZZzzzZZzzz 3.26.2024: Day 63. 96oz at 6.5ph. Runoff ppm at 730. 3.27.2024: Da 64. ZZzzzZZz 3.28.2024: Day 65. just the tiger bloom and cal mag today at 1/4 strength. 96oz at 6.49ph. 3.29.2024: Day 66. End of week 9. Trichomes starting to get milky. Maybe 70/30?

Aug 29th - I prepped the plant for Flower, half a week early, so week 3, is legit even though it sounds eager. Plant looks so solid - fed 1gal of nutes yesterday - 2nd Schwazze tomorrow… 20 days from the 1st (10th) 30th - a meal of NPK nutes was provided + Calimag; 1 gallon - Schwazze carried out (#2) 20 days after going into Flower -posted 2 shots from Aug 9th Schwazze event; my First. Wow what a change in 21 days - next meal is water and will be to Run-off as required to drop PPM below 1500 Sept 1st - Meal time today is Water to Run-off. The last big feed saw elevated ppm in the run-off and it was flushed till it dropped below 1500. That was not the end, as today it gets a proper flush of 4 gallons of pH’d water, followed by a fifth gallon with Basic NPK nutes + Massive Bloom (12ml/Gal) at 1300ppm - as the last (5th) gallon went in, the PPM of the run-off tested below 1500ppm. I call that even till next time. And now I know theres no excess chems built-up in the bottom of the Pot; Forward it is - targeted pH going in has always been 6.4. The runoff had a pH of 6.3 and that is an awesome number to confirm. Targeted meals are now 6.5 pH - now the Flush is Done, it is time to Top-Dress and Amend the soil again. Same ingredients; Bat guano, Worm Castings, Azomite, Kelp Meal and “Power Bloom” + 3-4 oz of Dried Crushed Fan leaves from other grows. This is Scratched into the surface and mixed as best possible. Water as needed. Nutes as desired 3rd - fed 3.5L of pH’d water @6.6 through the Amended Soil. - more growth over-nite puts her above 115cm - last day week 3. Buds are forming as white hairs are Out

*Ppm stayed the same around 1050PPM * Week 5 of flower. *Nothing drastic changes just defoliating a little. Did remove some popcorn nuggets on the bottom. Wonder if that will affect yield. *This strain is really frosty but doesn’t seem to produce good yield.
