Week 6 Vegetation - "Sam" rate of growth started to increase near the beginning of the week. With the nodes now stretching, I've started to implement tucking of the larger fan leaves under new and smaller shoots. I find this "new growth priority" method paired with LST really maximizes and speeds up the growth in comparison to an untrained plant. Merely anecdotal though! You'll notice that in the 3rd shot, the nodes stretched out in about 2 days and just ballooned! now that's what I'm talking about! nearing the middle of the week and the rate of growth is fast enough that I can't remember to take enough pictures between the new nodes. At this point I'm tucking new leaves almost daily, making paths for the light to reach new growth tips. By the end of the week, I'll need to start tying the nodes to the side before they stretch too far up. If they stretch too far before tying them, they can be a PITA to tie down later with dense foliage and such. Tying them down before they get to this point also keeps the nutrients moving to the "new side-nodes" from these branches. Eventually these will be just as thick as the original main stalk. UPDATE: As you can see with the last photos added, the branches are almost even with the original top of the plant that was tied down. I gave them a thorough fertigation the night before, and only slight folding of the leaves so I must have choked the roots a bit, but nothing long term.

28th week for critical the critical was very resistant, very strong but had like 50 seeds maybe for stress or defected seed

Moin und ich hoffe allen geht es gut! Diese Woche war nicht viel zu tun tägliches Blätter runter halten am Anfang der Woche gab es Bio pk 5-8 10ml/L wasser und zwar bin ich das ganze so angegangen ich hab die Pflanzen ganz normal bewässert mit 2L abgestandenem wasser und zum schluss gab es dann halt 1L der Nährlösung pk5-8. Die Damen haben auch diese woche wieder gut mit gemacht und fangen jetzt langsam an ab zu heben. Es fängt auch langsam an zu duften irgendwo zwischen ananas und Maracuja würde ich sagen und ein Hauch cremige vanille wobei die vanille irgendwie ein Schuss Moschus bei hängt ansonsten war diese woche nicht viel los euch ne schöne rest woche ihr growmies!

Week 4 🌸 All 3 plants are noticeably increasing in size every few days which is exciting. I am still doing some selective defoliation while also continuing to rotate the pots to help spread the light. The trichome development has really started to pick up going into week 5. Inside the tent can smell like a sweet shop at times 🍭🍭 Spider farmer still set at 90% 🙂

Sunday, 28-08-2022 Looking and getting frosty. Upward growth seems to be slowing down. Top-dressed midweek with 60 ml Humic Acid flakes. Foliar sprayed yesterday with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator(TADZE). Plants continue to seem pest free since starting to use TADZE. Only one midweek feed due to pots being saturated with rain on previous weekend. Supplemented feed today with Beneficial Booster comprised of 50 ml molasses, 125 ml EMAS and 15+ ml~ Recharge in 12 litres stored rain water with the molasses diluted in 950 ml filtered tap water, rain water EC=0~, final EC 1.7.

what can I say she is growing like a beast now! They plants are loving the weekly foliar sprays. The blood, bone and kelp meal are doing a great job. Will do another magnesium sulphate next week.

Week nine of veg and the girls are stretching… all except the Purple Punch on the far left. She decided to go into flower last Thursday! She too is healthy and displaying some purple. Thanks for looking in at my second grow.

When should they start flowering?

Hi Growmies, She did not take well to the ec of 2.0 that I intended to feed her, so I changed the reservoir again midweek and went down to 1.6, after feeding her canna flush with RO water for 24 hours. She seems very forgiving, as she didn’t even get stunted by the lockout. 4 of the 8 shoots went through scrog and were super cropped underneath the screen. The others should catch up any day now and will be trained in a similar fashion. Rootball looks also amazing. I will experiment with continuously feeding her orca every 3 days, as it feels like the mycorrhizal inoculants seem to go down after 3 days and root growth slows down. Let’s see if it’ll work. May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!
