Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

DAY 56 Flowering: Well here we are growmies. It is that time.... we have bud porn , beautiful leaves naturally fading and adding to the Autumn looking harvest. The 2 Girl scout cookies have kept a really happy pace this week with the #2 still pushing fresh pistils out and swelling. She is getting nice and tacky too. Both of the girls smell like a candy shop raid now too. My filters are useless in regards to these ladies but I am not complaining . Lol After I finished the video , I decided it was time for the #2 Girl , who is now sat in the dark trying to figure out where the sun and her sister has gone. She will get 48 hours , then be trimmed for drying and curing. The other girl will be joining her some time this week too for sure but as her pistils are so fresh in a lot of places , she will get to dance a little longer . The Amnesia girls are slowly building trichs and bud weight now on their last stretch before ripening those trichs. Only the #3 has any real signs of fade so far too which could be down to wrong feeding when I assumed she was a Girl scout cookie. The buds on her look very much like the Amnesia too. Thet remind me of cacti close up !. The rectangular girl #2 has kept all her jewels tucked away inside her frame but i have made sure there is plenty of airflow within her bush to keep the nasties away. All in all they look very potent and I can already see the lost fine and forgotten tasks within those crystal ball trichs. Lol The guest critical cheese is slowly ambling along and looks bare in comparison to the other strains. She still has about 3 weeks , alongside the Amnesia haze , to fill out those long colas. The plants are thriving in their 4th week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with their progress! 🌟 Adjusting the nutrient mix for the coco substrate has really paid off, and both plants are responding beautifully. The trichome production is impressive on both, but interestingly, the plant without LST is slightly ahead in development compared to the LST variant. 🌿💨 The buds are forming nicely, and there’s already a noticeable aroma in the grow space. It’s predominantly sweet, with hints of something deeper starting to come through. 🍭✨ So far, everything is looking on track, and I can’t wait to see how they progress in the coming weeks!💚💚💚

Other plant that was the same age turned out to be a male which its unfortunate because it was an accidental cross lol anyway she’s been growing vigourously ever since I made the switch..3 weeks almost complete and she’s a beast! End of Week 5 Brewed a nice veg-specific compost tea and the ladies loved it. Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. The ladies have gained some momentum and they're growing at a rapid pace . I also performed some HST by defoliating a few fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Didn't have much issues up until now... I noticed about 5-10 tiny little thrips on some of the leaves and I applied an organic microbial insecticide (Agro Organics Bio-Insek, Google it!) that seems to have taken care of the problem. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Pulled the second cherry Cola today and it looks and smells just like heaven , some nice pinks , purples and greens . Plants look to be around 12 oz together but we’ll see how they dry .

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is progressing more into flowering. She is growing really well. She has been eating and drinking a good amount. She looks very promising in producing a good yield in a 1.5 gallon potter. Nothing more to report at the moment.
