Another week is complete, and there wasn’t too much happening this time around, but the plants are continuing to develop nicely. I did another round of defoliation and some additional lollipopping, taking my time to remove everything as cleanly as possible and keep the plants focused on the main flowering sites. The nutrient schedule was also adjusted to better support the plants as they move further into the bud development stage. What really stands out this week is the amount of trichome production. The flowers are getting noticeably frostier, and even some of the larger fan leaves are starting to develop a surprising amount of trichomes. That’s something I’m not used to seeing this strongly from my autoflowers, so it’s definitely interesting to watch. Overall, everything is progressing well, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how much more frost these plants can put on over the next few weeks.

15.06.25. Day 30. Plants are looking healthy. Lots of growth in past week. She is showing preflower so I switched to flowering nutrients. First reservoir change out since I placed them into buckets. One plant topped herself because of rapid growth, I did not pull back training wire on main node and so the branch snapped where it was tied down. She is entering stretch now so I took of training wire on all plants. 18.06.25. Day 33! Defoliation, lilipop. 22 06.25. Day 37 Plants are now taking up all the space in tent. They need to stop growing. I think I should take out some more vegetation from the bottom. 25.06.25 Day 40 Fresh reservoir change out.

Everything is going perfectly so far. The flowers have just started to gather mass. She doesn't smell much yet, but it's a very robust plant 💪

Had a pretty good weer. I have the new carbon fil by Spider farmer. Love it has a temp and hum control built in so i can really leave it undisturbed now. Plants are growing nice and strong. Buds are developing nicely, going to be some big cigares for sure! Fed them water with 200ppm calimagic this week. Switching to magsulphur in a couple of weeks. From here on out its like cruise controlling. Only have to switch the lights to 100% somewhere in the last 3 weeks of flowering. Just leave them the fck alone.

But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. The tallest pheno is ready and being flushed for a couple of days now, rhe others are close but still consuming nutrients at a strong rate , I think they will take at least 1 more week. They smell very much like gelato as a group but are all very different from one another .

This is my 1st of 4 Banana Purple Punches that was green all the way through, I think the chances of a green plant on that strain about 20% so I hit that almost head on. Also this is the last BPP seed I had, grew 4 and gave 1 away to a friend, which also grew amazing and flavorful. Gotta spread the love (: Loved growing this strain for the last few years one plant at a time. Always a good strain to throw in the mix with some autos. They were free seeds that I will be buying in the future when I run out of buds and begin to miss her distinct effects.
