The plant continues to develop beautifully and is clearly hitting its stride now. Buds are visibly stacking and gaining density with every passing day. The fruit aroma is absolutely incredible, smelling intensely like fresh apricot jam and filling the room instantly. A real highlight is the stunning pink coloration, which is now spreading steadily from the top buds downward. Overall, this run is shaping up to be something very special.

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing.

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Real flowering started this week. The stretch just started and the crazy bushiness continues. Did some fairly heavy defoliation on the under canopy and select large leaves blocking light to the bud sights.... but controlling the growth is a balance. Trying to keep as much photosynthesis as possible until I can really tell which bud sites will be the real colas. I did a full reservoir swap with flowering nutrients, and a pH balanced water only flush in between (about 18 hours just running pH 5.9 water). Once I put the new nutrient solution in, the plant just shot up. It was spectacular the difference in literally only half a day. I have noticed that a thin coating of something was on the air line of the bubbler and a couple other surfaces. Cleaned it off before the water flush, but still note a very slight film on the top of the fresh nutrient solution. It's a touch worrying but not sure it's an issue. Will watch carefully.

Week 5 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. All four ladies look happy and healthy with minor deficiency signs. All four are bulking up and frosty as my windows (it's -21 °c)! 09.03.21 die Ladys machen sich gut und erholen sich schnell von dem ganzen entlauben. Mal schauen was diese Woche noch so mit sich bringt bald geht es in die blüte (so ca 2 Wochen noch). Bin Echt froh das ich bis jetzt noch keine gravierenden Fehler gemacht habe zumindest habe ich noch keine bemerkt bis auf den bei der keimung war nix besonderes los bin echt zufrieden mit der Genetik von Growers choice danke schon mal an euch

2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

Start of week 7! Week 6 went really well. This GG#4 lady is looking amazing, with her purple colors and plump buds! This lady is also on an 8 week schedule, removed big bud and added overdrive to the nute lineup.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

been quite busy, due to my birthday and a new semester, which resulted in my Orange Apricot grew too close to the light and i mistakingly turned ny lights to 100% for a few days which ended up in light burn, so i had to re-adjust my setup and raised the lights.. also threw some netting on the orange apricot glue and some lst clips in an effort to hold them down abit.. still havent got the time to remove the burned leafs, but everything else looks perfect. ive also raised the Sweet cheese closer to the light.

Growing growing growing. So, I have an extremely stressful job, and even though working with plants (of all types, not just weed) is how I unwind, it is coming to a head. Therefore, while I am still trying to get my updates up on Saturday or Sunday, sometimes, I spend the weekend just short of catatonic. However, enough about that shit. These plants are BUSHY. B-U-S-H-Y. Thankfully, the plants have realized where each other are and aren't really growing into each other. We're getting closer to one square yard by the moment it seems like. Other than that, not too much to report. Whenever I open the tent, I am hit by a blast of smell. I can't wait to see what these smell like when they're actually flowering. I have already decided what I will be adding in for the flower cycle, so we'll see. Update: after a bunch of deliberation, I spent a good chunk of time between the past 2 days defoliating, LST, and supercropping these plants to stop growing into each other. I'm happy with the results, and pictures will be up soon.
