Lessons learned from week 1 of my first grow so far: the best watering solution I found so far is a mix of distilled water from the store and filtered tap water. with a final ph of 6 and ppm of 20-40. a little ph buffer goes a bloody long way. Use with caution. performing tasks like mixing solution and potting a germinated seed are best performed without a phone (camera) in one hand. the seed germinated within 24 hours using paper towels. I planted after 36 hours. After 24 hours of potting, the stem was already shooting up, and I turned on the lights, set to an 18 hour schedule. I wasn't quite ready for this, so it took me some time to research and get the desired humidity and temperature. At this point I added more nutrient in even quantities of FloraGro, FloraMicro, and FloraBloom, according to instructions. Perhaps a little early though, although after just one 18 hour light cycle this plant is shooting up like a rocket and showing leaves. I bought a fan for the inside of the tent and propped it up on a box, and a humidifier to bring the humidity from 40-50% to around 70%. Since it's a winter grow, I have to periodically increase the temperature to keep it at 25 °C. The intake fan, humidifier, and inside fan are significantly lowering the temperature. I'm also experimenting with finding the right humidifier settings since the humidity seems to increase a lot when the lights go out, and the machine is still new.

Hello Diary, I apologize right away for the large number of photos, but it is important for me to document as best I can. This week I also photographed on a black background because they are really beautiful plants. So Medusa F1 is incredibly fast, after only four weeks of flowering, the first Medusa F1 is approaching harvest. I checked the trichomes under a microscope and most of them are milky, on the lower branches the ratio is 50/50. So I will wait a few more days, monitor the situation and harvest at the right time. This time I photographed the second Medusa, a really beautiful plant, but it has not yet matured like the first one. Considering the number of photos, I will not describe the appearance too much, therefore the smell, incredible. No other strain has had such an intense and strong smell so far on my small farm, I am very much looking forward to trying this new strain. Watering is more frequent, every three days I water them with almost 4 liters of water per plant. The conditions are excellent, 25 degrees and less than 40% humidity in the air. Here's how it went last week. 09/03/2023 - Day - 44. Watering. I lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and with 7 liters of water, I watered both plants evenly. 12/03/2023 - Day - 47. Watering and checking trichomes with a microscope. I repeated the watering procedure as I did three days earlier. 14/03/2023 - Day - 49. Photography and video. this time, after the grow box, I also photographed the plants on a black background. It was worth every effort. This weekend I also visited Spannabis, a great event and I'm really grateful to have met some new people in the industry and also some great growers. I'll definitely see you next year. Day 73 Day 38 Flower Monday 6th Camera is doing no justice, little video, although to my own fault I did not have phone with me when feeding yesterday for decent pictures. I will update again on water tomorrow ✌️ So far stretch has stopped, the recovery from lollipopping and defoliating is immaculate, she is so strong, already seeing denser bud sites and focused energy towards tops. I also defoliated her, removing a ton of shade leaves which will hopefully help with air circulation around her flowers. 9/15- Chop Day for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower from FastBuds! I got up just before sunrise today and took her down. After cutting off sections of the plant, I then transferred them inside to a climate controlled room. Once hung, I set the RH in the room to 50% for the first 24-36 hours to knock down the enormous moisture content present when the plants are freshly hung. I also have the temperature set to 65℉ and have two fans circulating the air in the room without blowing directly onto the hanging plants (very important). The GG4 will hang for 10-12 days, at which point I'll be locked in 'Trim Jail' for a few days at least! Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!

This Gorilla, has went ape. All I need to do now, is nurse it to harvest, to get bigger buds,I want dense nuggets. But more than having nuggets, I need it’s potency to be on deadly level, I want smokers to crash after smoking. Or I would only get that if I was growing Gorilla Glue.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and will be giving her some water and nutes tomorrow. All is going well and gonna start keeping an eye on the trichs. She’s not really a big fat plant and I’ve never really had one grow so lengthy before but she’s definitely putting on same nice weight and an amazing smell. Day 79 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today, she was pretty dry and ready. Other than that, I’m just letting her go for now and I’m not needing to do much defoliating lately. Day 80 - No real updates today, just some updated daily pics. Not really having to do anything with this girl but feed her and let her dry out, then repeat. Day 81 - Nothing really new today, just letting her chug along. She will probably need some water in another day or so. Day 82 - Everything’s looking good still but just realized that she might be foxtailing just a bit. Not really a worry for me but thinking it’s from the stress of when I snapped her main branch early on in growth. It seems to only be on a couple buds towards the top but going to keep an eye on her trichs and probably start flushing her tomorrow. Day 83 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. The way she’s looking, this will probably be the last feeding of nutes before flushing. Still quite a bit of clear trichs but quite a bit of milky in theee as well so thinking she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and she’s doing good. Really y’all and lengthy plant so trying not to take her out and move her too much anymore. Thinking she’s down to a couple weeks now so next feeding will be pH’d water only.

I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.

Felt like I wasted the last coco spot with this girl. Definitely should have done a different strain but still looking forward to the finished product. Had problems end of flower but it managed to power through 💚🌱 Will make most of this into bubble hash

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
