I really loved growing this strain. It was easy and stress-free. She seemed to be quite resistant to pests (my tent had a thrip invasion and it didn't seem to affect her too much). I will definitely grow it again in the future. Amazing tropical and fruity fragrances, I don't even know if I will be able to wait until it's cured before I can try it. It grew short and stout, almost buds only. I reckon it could have been a bigger plant if I would have started it under the Mars Hydro instead of on my balcony. Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. Grandaddy Purple is doing great, the shape is perfect, bud size and stretch is perfect so she will make some big flowers. The defoliation really works great every time. Feeding is the same as the others, Bio Flowering Booster, a bit of Bio Grow and SuperVit from RQS.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend. Not a bad week, nothing much happening, topped the plants and made some more dry PH down as I don't like using the liquid Phosphoric acid down as I don't use it fast enough and its going bad. Starting to discolor and tun yellow from clear. The acorbic acid is also ageing and going yellow, will need to replace it soon. ran the ph down mix through and sieve to grind it all down to around the same particle size for the chucks. Also added in a desiccate packet into the container to help with moisture issues. Over all the plants are good. Some issues with the transplant but not going to react to it. just going to let it sort its self out. defiantly some N tox, seems to always happen with Gaia Green 4-4-4 the N content is just too available while the rest is slower release. Would like it if their N in the formula was a bit more slow release over all. most of it is fast. Some of them showing some other issues as well but just have to wait it out. they are also going back into veg from my mess up on the lights. Thought they where on 16/8 but was really 12/12 from a week or so ago. the CBG seeds from GTR are doing the best. handling the extra N with good strides and nice growth on them. Topping plants was fine, took some pics of their tops. tried to get em all around the same height. looks good to me. Herbs doing well too. the basil is getting nice and deep rich green. can smell it heavy if the plant is brushed at all. Will need to keep pinching off their tops to make a tasty little plant. The catnip is going to explode in size I have a feeling. Its only one seed in that whole pot. Taste so good crushed into some cola. Nice minty flavor but not too offensive/sharp like other common mints such as pepermint or spearmint, its softer and almost creamy. highly recommend. fresh not dired.

Have 6 in the ground FB seeds in the ground only 1 kosher. The 2 Strawberry Gorillas are still not there with germination. Have started these on the 3 nutes above. These are best known as Voodoo Juice, tarantula and Piranha. These versions are from the ppl who hold the pattens and make a lot of ANs formulas. They have just improved upon most of the AN line up but they kept these the same. As they are tried and tested. Going to be running this lady on the full 19 Terra Power Line up. You can check these out on led-grower.eu/terra-power/ and read up on them for yourself. I'll be adding what's in them as for these 3 if you are interested look up Voodoo, T&P. Hopefully soon you'll be able to click on them and look em up when they join GD in the next wk or so. Happy with how the nutrients are holding a stable PH at 6 and these aren't even their PH perfect nutrients. So no PH - + needed. Sprayed each plant expect 1 gorilla zkittlez, for that 1 I used ANs line. These recommend 1ml/l for seedlings, AN I used 1.5ml/L. I use to use 2ml/L but they are seedlings so it's enough. Just a waiting game now. Will update as soon as these ladies start a popping. I laid a damp towel around the pots hopefully it'll up the RH. (Don't soak the towel it needs to be able to dry easily and in turn increase RH) Sprayed each 5 plants with this line up to start them off. As soon as leafs show I'll start them on a very very light feed. Will feed again in 2 days with the same mix. Another 100ml 1ml/l of each 3ml/l total 627ppm 6ph 21c temp. Have the smart intake fan at no 4 on 100% of the time. If I can't get desired RH after a day or 2 I'll turn the intake fan on 20/20 on/off and it'll make the RH be above 70% by doing this alone in a small space like 70x70. I really don't think I'm gonna have an Issue with low RH, but I have a feeling I'm gonna pay to have a low RH environment. 30/4/22 VD1. Have started her on jungle juice trio and a mix of terra Power enzymes and all there bud/resin enhancers will be used in conjunction with half strength recommend jungle juice dose. The feed is so low I've made up a 1l mix and that will do this and the 2 banana purple punches also. And I'll move that up to 1ml/L x3 of the jungle juice products next week. But for this week what's up above will be given every 2 days or when needed. 1/5/22 Slow growth on VD2. She's the runt most are reaching 2.5cm 3+ nearly on 2. Let's see what happens she's out of the ground and showing fan leafs, yday she had a crusty head. So all in all, going well. 6-8 FB seeds are up and thriving. 2/5/22 She's picked up fine. Got some height to her. Will continue the same course and watch her grow. Will update once more on on size and daily pics. 4_5_22 All Jungle juice&Terra Power grows are showing deficiency signs. I'm going to push up the EC this week I think. I do not want to stall them but I really think EC will be high in jungle juice because of the micro it has SO MANY TRACE nutrients it's crazy and it sends the EC sky high but there's so much of little bits of this and that I really think it can handle a higher EC. I'm going to 2x it or up it by a 1/3 for their watering 2moro as they were only fed yday. I've added biobizz calmag to help as my tap water is lacking cal mag when it comes into summer or so it stays on our water reports. It drops by 20%. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. Same Day. Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% And it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much Thanks for reading, this will be it as for updates for this week other than her final 7th wk day.
